It would be just so cool if the Pain Domination powers World of Pain, Anguishing Cry, Painbringer, and Conduit of Pain had lasting VFX considering they are lasting buff/debuff powers.
-
Pet upgrades are basically attacks; they indirectly damage your enemies by making your pets stronger. AoE attacks cost more end than single-target attacks, but the same is not generally true of buffs. And that's why I think it's not likely to change, and makes sense as it is.

You lied to me Techbot. My Thugs MM just ran through his thugs with nary a collision.
-
WELL WHAT HAPPENED! I liked that!
-
And how about vouchers for the rest of the incarnate slots, not just alpha? By far the most tedious part of the system right now is actually unlocking the slots.
-
You can have my no-extra-end AoE buffs when I get your can-walk-through-your-own-pets.

That's just being spiteful to people who are lucky.

Quote:The LRSF is still too hard.Don't forget "The ITF is too hard!" and "The STF is too hard!" before that. And "The LRSF is too hard!" before that. Hell, I remember when the redside respec trial was too hard.
Quote:The only good thing I can say about what I've read of the new trial is that it should(*) end the Draco In Leather Pants bullcrap about Antimatter really being the "good" Praetor.
* but it won't

Looking at the guide, it sounds considerably more complex and difficult than the existing trials, but as of now it only gives experience towards Incarnate slots the other trials already do. Unlocking and slotting Incarnate abilities is what drove people to BAF. When it comes down to grinding for their stuff, people will take the path of least resistance, and right now most people think that's the BAF.
So what is the motivation to run KI more than once, if at all? It would have to award many more Astral and E-merits than the existing trials, given what it sounds like on paper. And more to the point, did we really need a third, harder option for ground that was already covered?
.
YOU HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED IT. Wait until you have before you complain, that's all I ask. -

It's not rude, it's the truth. Think about it. Either the devs are morons who designed a fun game by accident and genuinely don't know that some people don't have time to get the best stuff, or they intended them to be something that takes a significant time investment to achieve. Which is more likely?
-
Rare and Very Rare powers aren't meant for casual players.
-
Why is Kinetics the only set listed that gets an AoE mez protection buff? Oversight?
-
Yeah but the Core is the only one to really be worth it. Just another balance issue with the Lore slot, which I really really hope will be addressed in this patch. Once there's 16 different options with 9 powers each it's gonna be tough to keep up with balance between the sets...

The problem with your logic, Johnny, is that the Well doesn't or can't take away the power it's granted. Neither Recluse nor Statesman want anything to do with the well, but they're still some of the most powerful characters in the game. Even if Tyrant somehow fell out of favor with the Well, he's still gotten a huge amount of power from it.
Frankly if the Praetorian arc does end with Tyrant depowered because the well abandons him, I'm gonna be pretty disappointed. -
There's no way to preview them directly, but 90% of the Epic powers and many of the Patron powers are powers available to other archetypes in their primaries and secondaries, so you could make a new character with the appropriate sets and skip to the Powers tab in the character creator to get a sneak peek at some of them.

?
This thread is about a mod for power icons, so I'm not sure what you mean by the new TFs. -
Wasn't that in response to a Tanker trying to solo a full-size spawn in the Rikti Crash Site? A spawn meant for a full team?
-
Why would that put him out of the Well's favor? If anything it'd just give him an excuse to flex his incarnate muscles for real and get even MORE favor.

Quote:I think you've been listening to too much Golden Girl. The only arc that's like that is Mother Mayhem's.SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY
It's got nothing to do with being a 'good guy' or a 'bad guy'. The whole of the Responsibility tract is about doing horrible things in the name of 'the greater good' of Praetoria and preserving the Empire.
Motivations for doing so vary from person to person as the various arcs demonstrate. -
There's more than one respec trial. Each side has 3, for the 24-33, 34-43, and 44-50 ranges.
