I believe Iceboxer was referring more to AVs that one would encounter in the normal game, such Manticore, and whether or not killing those AVs in an AE mission was legit.

Quick question... I just noticed that all my screenshots have no UI. I know personally which of these AVs I took down with no temps/insps (all but Diabolique so far), but... UI further "proves" things. Any idea how to change the settings so screenshots are taken with the UI on?

AVs are 50 in missions you go into alone with your difficulty set to invincible. So having your AVs as 50 in AE is not "cheating" in any way. Their stats and etc are the same as if you would encounter them in outside mission arcs.

Edit: In fact, I am about to log on and start killing Mynx, Back Alley Brawler, and other signature heroes in an AE mission I made ^_^

For some reason, that was it! Thank you for that idea. My only issue now is that the only version available higher than 47 said "Valkyrie (Boss Signature Pets) 40-54)" or something similar. I'm hoping she is still at Arch-Villain/Hero difficulty. I didn't have any problems finding the others with an appropriate level range.

No, I have added nothing but bosses as objectives. I set the generic enemy group for the map to Longbow, which covers 1 to 54. The map doesn't even allow for captives.

I made a mission with various AVs to kill solo with my character. The problem is, when I enter the mission, they are all level 49. I am a level 50, with my difficulty set on invincible. I included Valkyrie as an AV, who is listed as level 51-51.

Why are they level 49? How can I fix this? I don't want to take the time killing them knowing that I have even the smallest advantage from that one level difference. It takes away the achievement from it.

Phew, my simple question sure turned into more here. I did it today on Heroic since my Kat/Regen has no chance of killing an AV version of Anti-Matter. Got my Portal Jockey.

I wouldn't run this arc again unless I really had to. It's annoying for me as well. I really hate having to find needles in haystacks on huge maps, and kill-alls are annoying to me.

Edit: Her damage may not exactly be super low, but she uses almost all melee and doesn't have any res to lethal. She was the easiest AV of all of them for me on my kat/regen.

I know this isn't a scrapper specific thing, but since a lot of you have done her mission line to kill AVs, I thought I would ask here. I just finished the Maria Jenkins missions and finished soloing Tyrant, and now I'm looking to Tina, not only for her AVs but for the Portal Jockey badge as well.

Problem is, I can't seem to be able to speak with her. Anyone know what contact to go to that will eventually introduce me to her, much like I had to talk with Unai to talk to Maria?

I made this suggestion years ago in the suggestion forums. Maybe they didn't have the technology to do it, maybe they didn't read it, maybe they didn't want to do it, I'm not sure. But it's been an idea that's been out there for literally years.

It's something that I've really wanted for a long time, but it's also something I've kind of given up hope on

I'm new to villain side. My friend is making a DM/Nin stalker, so I wanted something to make that could do some nice group damage while taking a decent beating. I was thinking Elec/SD brute for AAO+Lightning Rod+Shield Charge.

Is it a good combo? How does Elec/SD hold up in TFs and such?

Any insight as well as recommendations for this or other combo sets would be appreciated.

Edit: I am also up for making a stalker that can do some nice AOE as well. That is a viable alternative.

I'm only level 44 so I had to pop some greens (I'm taking aid self late), but aside from that, no temps and no insps.

I know he's not the hardest AV in the universe (aside from the occasional cascade fail of defense) but what a sense of accomplishment. Yay me!

I'm having a good time soloing AVs as well. I'm currently on Neuron, who is a bit tough because of all of his endurance drain, and I'm really trying to do it without having to use insps.

If you really want to get the most mileage out of a scrapper against AVs then you probably want an exotic damage type like Dark or Fire.

This is making me sadface. I just went to try fighting Nightstar, and when I could make no headway on her, I went on to Siege. I have no problems staying alive on either of them with good clickie management (no temps/insps), but both seem to take so very little damage from me. After fighting Night for 20 minutes and Siege for 20 minutes and seeing all changes in their healthbar be quickly regenerated, I gave up.

Am I doing something wrong?

He used it three times on me before I had to run out of the mission and log off the head out Maybe next time... Oh well. Thanks again all

Is Shadowhunter possible to solo as an AV? I gave him a shot once before I had to log, and it seems he heals to full health every time he gets to 3/4 health or so.

Yeah, definitely fun. And yeah, I went on to Chimera after that, and he was a laugh compared to Infernal. Good stuff. Thanks guys.

I'm not the type to brag or anything, but thanks to the advice on this forum and the build I got help with from you guys, I just soloed Infernal. Not sure how easy or hard he is compared to the other AVs out there, but it sure took a while and was a lot of fun as a Kat/Regen scrapper. I knew I had what it takes (practice/build wise) so I decided to do it without temps/insps. And there you have it. Pretty exciting.

While we're at it, I have a quick question. My build is ready to solo AVs, and so I've started the Maria Jenkins mission line. How many people does one need in their team, and on what difficulty, to make the final bosses into AVs as opposed to EBs?

I've just made a Warshade and I am trying to get my keybinds working. I've specifically copied and pasted the ones from this thread:

Which uses binds such as -
/bind NUMPAD2 “powexec_toggle_on Dark Nova$$goto_tray 3”

But it is giving me errors like unkown command: "power_exec_toggle_on

Any suggestions?
