What would be nice would be for them to implement one way transfers ala Freedom to Defiant, etc. They should aim for some sort of server balancing to move the consistently red and yellow dotted servers onto some of the green dotted servers.

Granted this might not help, but it could possibly shore up some of the lower population servers.

It was a way to view your characters info offline on a web page similar to WoW's Armory feature. They demo'd it several years ago then it got shelved due to security issues.

The problem with Pocket D is that most Praetorians don't know that they can access it and I am betting that a good majority of veterans don't know they can get to Pocket D from Praetoria, much less newbies.

Protector seems to have gotten the reputation of being the "veteran" server somehow. Not that it is totally unearned, but I have seen where several new players have asked about which servers do what (Pinnacle is the drunken server, Virtue is the RP server, etc.) and we get hit with the "old timers" comment.

Just saying.

Edit: A lot of this is probably because on average we seem to be a more mature crowd. Only anecdotal evidence to support this, but there sure seem to be a lot of folks over the age of 18 hanging around here.

Normalize the sound levels across the powersets. Some powersets blast my speakers off the shelf while others I can barely hear.

Demon summoning; please, oh please make them not roar so often. With sugar on top even.

Glowies/Zowies; when the sound volume was reduced back many issues ago to make them not quite so loud through the walls, they went too soft with it. Now at times I have to be right on top of one before I can hear it. Please increase the volume slightly.

Give us an option to turn off personal power sounds such as Practised Brawler. I really hate soloing while hearing Vroom, Vroom, Vroom for hours on end. Just one example. Arctic fog with the foghorn is another annoying one. I would love to be able to turn those off just for myself. On others it doesn't bother me, I can always move away out of the effect range.

Wentworths/Black Market; I would love to see this become a power free and sound effect free area.

I would love to see some of the Giant Monsters and AV's actually say something during the fight. Give them a voice. Even just one or two sound bites that get triggered at a HP level would be cool.

To reiterate my previous post, as of I13 a lot of the petsay chat commands are broken.

So if you try combining multiple chats/emotes and it doesn't work, it's probably broken. This all happened when they allowed item linking and copy/paste in the chat boxes. Yes, it's a bummer. No, it isn't likely to get fixed anytime soon.

Something no one ever mentions is the fact that MMO development is worked on 6 months to several years into the future.

Going Rogue isn't something they started on 6 months ago and then they decided to release it last month. The invention system didn't happen in just a year. These things took years to come to fruition.

If a Dev said two years ago that bases would be getting some love, we would probably just be seeing it today depending on what technical hurdles had to be overcome.

Changing the base editor to be capable of three axis of placement isn't something that is going to get banged out in a week. Neither is adding a slew of new artwork or fixing existing artwork for bases.

I would love to see bases get some love too. But it is just now getting close to being time for some of the base the stuff we asked for several years back to finally be ready for release assuming that they have had time to work on it with GR just coming out.

We are way too used to being a "Gotta have it nao!!!" society.

Back quite a few years ago my wife and I were living in southern Missouri. It was the night of our tenth wedding anniversary.
