Windows comes with a boot manager built in anymore. XP and Vista both support multi booting..

Quote:In order to partition a drive you will still erase everything though. The easiest thing would be to find or borrow a USB hard drive, take everything off, format and partition if you need to then put the specific info/programs you want back on.You can set up a machine with multiple drives, that's not an issue. But I'm pretty sure you won't be able to set up partitions and keep the information that's there.
Not true. Partition Magic can do this easily if you have free space on the drive that is more than the partition size that you wish to make.
I <3 Partition Magic. It's one of the best drive management utilities ever made, IMHO. -
Us too. We really enjoyed getting all of the cards last year.

Quote:Agreed. The power/level system in WoW is made to be easily rebalanced. And they do rebalance it nearly every patch for one or more AT/powers. If you go look at their release notes you will see that the powers system in WoW is level based with relatively little enhancement ability, unlike CoX. What little enhancements you do get are talent points/glyphs/enhanced weaponry and armor. The game is balanced around level 50. Always has been. Extending out the level cap would require a lot of game balance work to make doable.
I think the case with WoW or whatever is that they had always planned to raise the level cap and worked that into their power/ability balance from the initial design phases.
Not to say that there isn't a lot to balance in WoW, just that it seems easier to balance due to the way the game is designed. This same design also makes the game a lot stiffer in the way it plays, IMHO. I much prefer the looser feel that CoX has where you are free to slot anything that you can use and you don't have to grind for enhancements as much as you do with WoW. I hate grinding for loot and I severely dislike Bind on Pickup items. I found it. Why can't I sell it or give it away???
*Wanders off muttering about game designers who put in stuff that makes zero sense with regard to the way things should be if the MMO was in fact real* -
Quote:You must not have been on Protector. Ever. There is enough shambles on Protector that most of us wonder why the zombies don't attack more.We leave the place in shambles to avoid any type of invasion.
Of course there is the postulation that Protector is full of zombies and we just haven't realized it yet. -
It's not about winning or loosing GA. We already know that he can't get enough of us.
Speaking of which, what do we get from winning him this time? So far we have him trying to stalk us and failing and a recap of the Stalker saga.
We need something new, something refreshing... Something... Aha. We need something where GA is the main course. Maybe participation in our weekly Rikti raid. That should ensure plenty of face planting. -
Triumph is rallying a huge turn around. Pinnacle is on the ropes.
-
I'd hand you an official welcome toaster, but they have gotten all rusty and smell kinda funky so here's a blender instead. You'll find it a lot more useful after you get to know everyone.

We don't have to take GA again do we??? Can't we pick another forum tro... err member?

Quote:Quote from BaB's on Going Rogue and I16.
Lemme see if I can clear this up.
- Issue 15 will be released before Issue 16.
- Issue 16 will be the issue coming out after Issue 15.
- Issue 16 is not the "Going Rogue" expansion.
- Issue 16 will be released before the "Going Rogue" expansion.
- The "Going Rogue" expansion will not be coming out as the next issue after Issue 15.
- The "Going Rogue" expansion will not be coming out between Issues 15 and 16.
- The "Going Rogue" expansion will not be coming out at the same time or before Issue 16.
- The "Going Rogue" expansion will be coming out sometime after 16.
- Issue 16 and the "Going Rogue" expansion are not related to each other in any meaningful way.

We sort of answered that a few posts above. It's the current top MMO with Gnomes, Orcs, Trolls, etc. Shesa has been playing it for quite a while and got me to playing it with her. I see that Be's hubby has used the same tactic. It's gotten a lot better since patch 3.2 IMHO.
-
Working as Intended. Sorry to break it to ya, but bridging is gone the way of the Dodo.
-
Aww... I'll miss you Be.
I've been off playing another MMO as well although I am still keeping my CoH subscription active. If anyone happens by the Azuremyst server wave hi to Fayell the Gnome. -
Quote:I usually wait until the team wipes because they didn't listen then go in and kill it.I would have described this as Ice and I worked out the strategy together, and then drafted it up together and I posted it, with, as I recall, full credit offered to Ice.
But... at any rate...
Ya.. if you know how to handle a cyst crystal, then they're no biggie. -
I would like for my character to look like my character, not like a generic player like he currently does in Granite.
So my vote is for a change to overlays. -
A teaspoonful of dry granulated sugar swallowed without dissolving also works. Of course it is chock full of calories, but then it tastes good too.

Quote:Bwahahah... HEB warehouse in San Antonio. The only customer I ever told to either get my truck unloaded or they could pick up their frozen food off of I37 as I was heading to Harlingen for my next load then headed home. Home was 1000 miles and 16 hours away. I was supposed to be unloaded at 6am. It was 6pm. I was not a happy camper. That was 13 years ago and I am still PO'd about it.I can see I am going to have to stop by HEB on my home from work this afternoon and buy some bacon.
I no longer drive a truck, but the rule still applies. Don't mess with my time when I am supposed to be headed home. -
Have a good one Coach. Come back and see us when you can.

Lassie is stuck in the well again.

Why would the Devs give up a three day weekend to come to Atlanta?
