If I can remember to this weekend I'll see what else I can dig up. I moved most of my villains to Victory some time back, but I left a few here. They might have influence just sitting around that I will likely never use.

I went for the bare handed kill. Booted into safe mode, killed all of the .exe files I could find, edited the registry, and ran MalWarebytes as a double check.

If the person who wrote Security Essentials put as much effort into doing a real application as they did into writing blackmail-ware they would probably make twice the money.

I got the pleasure of removing it from a friends brand new laptop a few weeks back. Not as difficult as some I have ran across, but no fun anyway.

I didn't even manage to get in game. Friday night was a bust due to RL. Saturday during the day I was over at a friends house fixing their electrical problems and that night friends came over. Then Sunday I was in so much pain from standing on a ladder for so long Saturday that I did absolutely nothing but relax.

So much for good intentions.
