Thank God! I guess the tone in which my inner voice was reading that post made it seem like a farewell and goodbye post.

Considering hot sure Hurley was that Ben should be in the church with them, I'd have to say it wasn't to Heaven or Hell so much as moving on in general.
That's a good way to put it. They were all willing to move on while Ben in his mind felt that he wasn't ready.

Well if they are all dead and at the end they were moving on and probably going to heaven. Maybe Ben knew that he wasn't going with them and mostly being sent down to either Hell or a longer stay in Purgatory.

Edit: Liked the flashback to the original wreckage encampment at the very end.

That's what it looked like to me. Although what Jack's dad said that some people die early or later makes me wonder if they were survivors and somehow the crash of Oceanic 815 was the thing that tied them all together.
  6. Heroside I got a elec/elec blaster and for villianside I got a mind/psy dominator
  7. Last I heard it was on the backburner and wouldn't be looked till some time later.
  8. It looks like the Warrior option for leg tights is missing for females.
  9. In the end I high fived Dean. At first I was annoyed by Dean's attempts to hit on my female character but I played it into the fact that my character was just using his attraction to her as a means to string him along and get whatever info out of him. In the end my character got a lab that would create a legion of followers that would do my bidding and all I had to do to get it is high five a guy, deal!

I saved my clone and in the end let her go free mostly because my character always felt life has been handing her the short end of the stick most of her life. So why she want to do it to herself, in a sense the clone will probably living the life that my character always wanted.
  10. It's the only time that the devs can run a PL gold farm team

    it's patching

The devs are hogging all the I17 fun. Quick someone distract them so we can sneak in.
  12. Here's to 6 glorious years of TFs, costume contests, doom, features coming "soon", a great online community and the devs evolving the game, and hopefully for another 6 more years of fun to come.

Which is the lesser of the 2 evils. Had it gone to court and this [censored]-monkey won. It probably given him the edge to go after the big names like Sony, Activision, EA and make even more money for being a no-talent [censored] hat.
  14. Themes sounds like a good idea for booster pack names and add-ons. Adventure, Mystery, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror

Welcome to City of Heroes Virtue server, Knights Reach. Hope you survive the experience
  16. Maybe one way to implement clues is make it something similar to how they do the Deadly Apocalypse event in-game, when searching for the Greater Mystic Aspect. Without solving the clue you have a vague general idea of where the mission is, solving it will give the player a more accurate location.
  17. So if I'm reading this right he created a robot wife for a guy getting married to living one. This is a cry for help if I ever saw one, just not sure if it's Positron or Luminary screaming for it.
  18. I would love to see something like this, but wasn't there a dev post way back that said they wanted to avoid puzzles because either they eventually become repetitive themselves or frustrate players that might not understand how to resolve them?

What kind of balance would you think the devs need to create for something like this in order to keep the players excited yet not want to hunt them down and pelt them with rotten fruit?
  19. I would like to see fingers, actual fingers, on player characters.
  20. An interesting point, and I kind of see where your logic is coming from. If there's less player activity on one side, but more on the other. Then there would be less development for exclusive content on the less active side, and at best shared content would be the only thing present.

However this does kind of lead me to think of some kind of weird "chicken or the egg" scenario. "We need more villain exclusive content, there's not enough players to justify villain exclusive content, villain exclusive content will bring in more players" rinse and repeat.
  21. Lets see for me I would like to see sashes, backpacks, individual pieces for limbs, face masks/plates, wolf and fox tails, some animal heads that don't look like they been hit a bazillion times with the ugly stick by SexyJay, more individual costume parts and components vs costume sets, and that's all I can think about off the top of my head.

But there's a difference between playing a virtual villain vs. being an actual real life villain. So are you saying that part of the reason why there hasn't been much villain exclusive content is because of real life morality issues.

"Hey these players are playing villains. Lets punish 'em for choosing to side with evil."

Sounds a bit off to me.
  23. I'm sure the devs would love to show villain love, and I hope that the current team will include some new villain only features in the future, but personally I always felt that upon releasing CoV and saying that it was a stand-alone game was the worst mistake that the CoH/V dev, markeeting, or whatever team that made that decision ever did.

I think at the time their resources ($$$, staff, and time) was limited and stretched. Honestly it wouldn't make much sense business wise to support 2 individual games that uses the same game engine, graphics, and was about the same in just about every way except for in-game lore. It would have been better if it was released as an expansion pack that required CoH to play from the get go.
  24. You wouldn't happen to know one that goes by the tune of John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt would you?
