  1. It looks like it says that Matt "Positron" Miller is being relocated else where in the company. Maybe, just maybe, they're talking about when he was moved into the head of end game content position. That's what I'm hoping for any way.
  2. You've admitted that you didn't even play the new incarnate TFs and basing your whole post off assumptions of what was posted in the closed beta.

Disclaimer: I have not played any of the I19 content, but have only read about it through the forum discussions.
Essentially it's like going up to a person and saying "Hey I've read some where that if you put your hand in water it gets wet. I never did that before so is that true?" and there happens to be a bucket of water next to you. I guess what some of the people are trying to say in subtext, this is just speculation on my part, is to try it out first before posting and formulate your own opinion and facts, vs. posting speculations and assumptions with nothing to really back it up. Thus drawing people into this thread, and to them, perceive it as a very big waste their time.

    Skyline...

I remember hearing about that, wow what a ********* move to pull on your clients. I hope this movie bombs now, and as matter fact I think I'll be avoiding it now.

    Skyline...

God I hope it has some kind of redeeming entertaining value, I going to see this movie tomorrow. From the trailers it looks like a remake of Independence Day.
  6. There's supposed to be a one-shot Thanos Imperative: Devastations that's supposed to be an epilogue and set as to what the new status quo for the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe is supposed to be, and that's about it.

Other than that the team behind Marvel's cosmic universe, Abnet & Lanning, is slated to launch Heroes for Hire, staring Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, Punisher, Elektra, and Iron Fist. So I guess it's like Guardians of the Galaxy but on a smaller urban setting.

To a certain point I can understand why he went bat[censored] crazy. If you think about it, Thanos finally achieved his dream. He was dead, he was at peace, and most importantly he was with the love of his life. Then along comes Peter Quill and his gang and they decide to take him away from all that to deal with the Cancerverse problem, which wasn't even his to begin with, and to make it even better after he was resurrected he could never be at Death's side again.

So how happy would you be after being taken away from your happy home, from the love of your life, your soulmate, having to deal with a problem that wasn't even yours in the first place, and then finding out that you can never go back or even be with the one you truly love.
  8. Wow, just wow, this wholes series was an awesome read. So did anyone else here pick this series up? What are your thoughts on the ending? I just wish that most of Marvel's other comics was as entertaining as Marvel's recent cosmic saga (Annihilation, Annihilation: Conquest, War of Kings, and now Thanos Imperative)

    That would be awesome

  12. The whole premise is giving me flashbacks of the Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.
  13. Awesome, would love to get a box for myself.
  14. Here's the trailer for the season finale of Venture Bros. Operations P.R.0.M.

$500 for a prom, hopefully Doc Venture has some still functioning super science swag that he can use.

Good point, Superman could be considered a natural origin since his powers are natural for him or any Kryptonian. I would say that the natural origin can be used for anyone were their power comes to them naturally, whether it be through training or it's some part of their species, without the aid of magic, science, technology, or a mutant gene.
  16. Doing fine, thanks for asking Marcian. Today was my day off, had some fun with family. However the downside is that after today I work a 8 day straight shift at a call center, were it's the equivalent of trying to give a baboon instructions over the phone on how to do open heart surgery. Overall it's good, until I go back to work tomorrow. On the plus side IT firewalls are a bit lax so I can visit the forums when i want.
  17. About time! Can't wait, make sure that my lcs orders a copy for me.

    Fun times.
You too, honestly I think someone needs to give the forum maintenance team a swift kick or three.
  19. Should the devs ever do a Praetorian Invasion zone event. Have it set up like last years winter event. Portal shows up, anyone interested jumps in, and zone into the event zone. Those that don't want to can just ignore the portal and go about their business.
  20. Not digging this arc dropped it after issue 702, and quite honestly getting sick and tired of Superman trying to get intouch with his human side, humanity, or what have you. To me Superman should be about inspiring people, not boring people to tears and giving some kind of snarky remark to everyone asking him why he's walking around doing jack and squat vs. flying in the skies and looking for evil and helping people out.

However I am enjoying JMS run with Wonder Woman. Think it's a great story so far.
  21. Liked Transformers Animated, just think it had a slow pace and didn't really pick up until the end of Season 1. I enjoyed it, thought it was great. The only thing I do wish for is that Hasbro would give up on the Bay-former style and go to something more G1, but that's just me.
  22. This thread reminds of indie comic I stumbled across, were a bunch of D&D like characters realize that there whole exsistance is based on the purpose to satisfy the whims of their teenage creators. Can't recall the name off the top of my head, but I thought it was amusing. Also reminds me of an episode Fairly Odd Parents, were Timmy enters the world of his hero, The Crimson Chin, and tells the Chin that he's just an imaginary character in Timmy's world.

Any ways back on track, I would say that about 85% of my characters, especially the villains, either all have some kind of mommy and daddy issues or come from broken homes of some kind. I would say that my villain characters would definitely want to kill me or slowly torture me till I beg for death. A few heroes would beat me to an inch of my life for the hell I created as their origins and the remaining would be angry and avoid me at all cost or think long and hard before doing anything to save my life.
  23. My reaction

Honestly why do producers have this horrid mentality that if one concept makes money for one film. That they can apply said concept into their franchise and expect the same financial results. What the producers of the new Superman series are trying to do is kind of like a perverse version of the quote "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and expecting different results." Except what they're trying to repeat has no bearing or relation to what they are trying to apply it to.
