Yes it was, oh god yes it was.
  2. I just realized something, 1st season Brock was able to take a whole butt load of tranq darts and shrug them off, and here it takes 2 and he goes out like a light.
  3. The discussion on what a "Rusty Venture" is had me laugh out coke.
  4. Starts at 11:30pm eastern, can't wait

    Your Highness

Looks good, and got a good laugh out of it. Just hope it's not one of those movies were all the good parts were shown in the trailer
  6. Taking a closer look, Abin Sur reminds me of Kryten from Red Dwarf.

Ok, cool. For some odd reason I thought it was going to be Hector Hammond as the villain for the first one, and if a sequel was cleared it was going to be Sinestro and Parallax for the 2nd one. Anyways trailer has me more interested then excited for the movie.

I thought it was Hector Hammond, with Parallax in the sequel.

$3 for Skyline is still asking for too much.

  11. It looks like the week after Thanksgiving might be a more plausible launch date for I19
  12. For some odd reason I can't stop thinking of Rodimus Prime when I see this.
  13. Well looks like the Death of Spider-Man is for the Ultimate universe, and doesn't have anything to do with the 616 Spider-Man. Here' a link for details.
  14. 21 or 24, I knew that there was a 2 in there some where. I agree it would be hilarious if they brought back 24 and killed him again. I can imagine Dr. Venture walking out with an infant clone 24 in his arms, and something hilarious happening to end baby 24's life.

    Probably

Probably, If somone does die I'm going to take a guess and say it's either going to be 24, the Monarch, or one of the Venture Bros. (Hank or Dean)

Now that Hank has gotten some, will Dean finally become a man?

    Can't wait to find out.
From the trailer Triana doesn't seem to be happy with him, unless pity sex counts.

    I'm just curious.

He said it was ok, but it was said in the tone that kids use when they try to be nice and not hurt someone's feeling. Plus I think he knew that the movie did not sit well with me. So I'm not really sure if he truly liked it or feels that if he said that he didn't like he thinks I would get upset or something. The part he really liked best was of course the final scene were, in his own words, "the red glowing brain takes over the rock alien and fights the other aliens."

    Skyline...

Ugghhh, unfortunately my attempts to back out of this movie ended in failure. Kind of hard turn down the pleas of a 7yr old nephew, who for some odd reason wanted to really see this movie. I really wished that I resorted bribery. Paying $10 to $60 would have been a whole lot better than enduring the feelings of rage I felt and wasting the time to endure this horrible movie. So anyways as anyone can guess this movie truly is one of many masterful works of epic fail out there.

First off, the penthouse apartment that they start the movie in. Either get used to it or learn to love real quick because I would say 90% of the movie takes place there. There a few scenes in the parking garage and on the roof, but most of this god-awful movie takes place there.

Also Donald Faison will be playing the role Turk... err, I mean Terry in the film. Yep instead asking him to play a different role or make any attempt to use his acting skills, the Strause Brothers essentially told Faison to just be Turk in the movie. So if you like Faison playing a character that plays out as Turk then this movie is for you.

Also character development goes straight out the window, for example when the apartment manager is introduced there is automatically an animosity between him and Jarrod. No reason explained other than the fact that the manager for reasons unknown has an ax to grind with him.

Nothing is explained in the movie, if you have questions don't bother looking for answers. I guess someone can say that Skyline is supposed to be from the perspective of the average citizen but even then things have to explained to move the plot along, but nothing is in this movie. Stuff just happens in the movie just for the sake of happening. There's a very stretched to the point of breaking string holding this movie together.

The ending is pretty much what really pushed me over the edge. It essentially sets it up for a sequel, and I really wish that one does not get made. Pretty much this film ends when Jarrod's brain takes over the alien body it's placed in, he frees his pregnant girlfriend, and turns and leaps to take on the aliens surrounding them, freeze frame, and that's it. As the credits role you get more screenshots that just rehash what happened in the alien ship and Alien Jarrod punching the alien invaders. It feels like an abrupt end to the whole film. I felt like there was more to it, but there wasn't. Honestly it feels like the end is more like the middle of the film and someone hit the pause button.

Any ways the movie sucks, avoid it, see something else, just please don't see this movie. I'm begging the people on the forums here to avoid this thing. It doesn't deserve your money, it really doesn't deserve anyones money. I was guilt tripped into seeing this horrible movie. However if you do go, don't say that you weren't warned.
  18. Yeah, near the end Quasar and Rocket Raccoon do discuss if they truly believe that Nova and Starlord are dead, but to me it seems Abnett and Lanning were trying to make sure their revival couldn't be pulled off so easily or put some kind of finality to it.

They're stuck in a universe that collapsed on itself that can't be reopened and it's a dead universe that has Thanos in it, but this is comics here. I'm sure that Marvel can find someone who come up with some half-baked story to bring 'em back and totally disregard what was written by the previous writers because it doesn't fit their story needs. So till then I say they went down screaming in death's face.
  19. Started out with EQ and then moved to SWG for my MMO experiences and found them to be ok but something didn't feel right, they felt like something was missing. Then I recall finding out about CoH, not sure were, I think it was in a ad in a comic-book. I came in some where between after the launch of issue 2 and before the release of issue 3. Either way it got me interested, and the rest as they say is history.
  20. Drats missed this one. Hey isn't next week the one that takes place in the future were Richard Grayson is Batman and Damian (in B&B universe it's Batman and Catwoman's son) take on an older Joker.

    Ben 10 11/12

Great episode, but it looks like Kevin is turned to evil, again.
  22. Well if it's speculated that it's within the company that's gotta be good.
