    Darkman (1990)

Good movie, always pop it in every now and then. Liam Neeson as a psychotic hero was awesome
  2. Just came back and enjoyed it, would probably go see this movie a second time. The plot is predictable, but there was just some kind of feeling with this movie were I didn't mind it nor care for the predictability of the film plot and thought it enjoyable.

That would be hilarious. After seeing this I wonder if Mr. Yin has a Carnival of Shadows Strongman costume lying around some where.
  4. Back to the Future Trilogy is out on Blu-Ray.
  5. Praetorian Protesters, the fact that I can just jump into a protesting group and wail on them with fire, ice, bullets, electric blasts is hilarious and fun. What makes it even better is when the only they fight back with is brawl and throwing rocks. I know that there's a zone event with protesters, but haven't encountered that yet.
  6. Boo Boo just established dominance
  7. Having worked retail I do run alot into the "You get what you pay for" mentality. I guess people are cynical by nature or at least in a purchasing environment and tend to cast doubt and start to look for faults and issues when a product comes long at a low cost. Despite the fact that it might be good or even better than the high cost models.
  8. Halfway through Andre Norton's Quag Keep right now.

Actually NCSoft and Paragon Studios probably can't call it City of Super Heroes because Marvel and DC have a joint copyright ownership on that word.

I guess maybe with some team members dying, including me, and coming back to deal with Neuron and Bobcat it might have added an edge of excitement with them or everyone was so pre-occupied that they didn't notice the time it was taking to bring them down on my Tin Mage TF team. With the Goliathes, we managed to pull one away from the other and take it on. However while fighting the thing no one was defeated that much, defender was spamming heals and buffs. At some point everyone on started to realize and comment on how slow it was to take down the Goliath compared to Neuron and Bobcat.

Also, iirc, if you don't attack anyone for two minutes you can reslot the alpha inside a mission. Or is it four?
That's good to know. Pretty much everyone on the team, including myself, just crafted their first alpha slot and didn't know much of how the system really worked . I think this was probably the main reason why bringing down the Goliath felt like an eternity. Our brute was dealing some major damage before hand, and after he went alphaless I guess thats were things started to go slow.
  11. Did the Tin Mage TF for the first time about 2 days ago. It was a pick up group and was doing well and what I felt was a good pace. Then we got to Neuron, Bobcat, and the 2 Goliath War Walker , and that's were everything started to fall apart.

With Neuron he seems to spam an ungodly amount of clones. I think I counted up to 18 or more of those [censored]. I feel we got passed that hurdle thanks to the 2 doms, and the controller who held, confused, immobilized, slowed the clones. While the tank, scrapper, brute wailed on Neuron.

After that Bobcat was a chore mostly because our brute wanted to swap from a dmg alpha slot to an acc alpha slot, but unfortunately none of us knew at that time you can't swap alpha slots during missions. So unfortunately at that point he was going alphaless with the rest of the mission.

The Goliath War Walkers were the most annoying to deal with. Should you really have to spend over an hour to bring one of these suckers down? The one we had to deal with outside Portal Corps went down fast. Thought it would be the same with these 2. Unfortunately our team was wrong. Fortunately one dom and a scrapper had 2 chemical warhead temp powers so that seemed to make the final Goliath War Walker go down faster.

I'm hoping that this TF was purposely set high so that way later down the road the devs can adjust things accordingly. As some mentioned only parts of the Alpha Slot tree have been unlocked and there are more to come. That's what I'm hoping for anyways.

I can see where devs are coming from on the design of this TF. They seem to want a balance were it would be a grueling laborous task to beat this TF without being alpha slotted. , but becomes managable with an alpha slotted team. However I get this feeling that something didn't transition over when they tried to implement this idea.
  12. Personal favorite before it was changed was during the beta were the market was set to be introduced. On villainside the truck that was used for the black market was designed to look like Generation 1 Optimus Prime's truck mode. The license plate was a nice touch too, I think it read Opt2357.
  13. Wasn't this the movie that the directors of Skyline embezzled money from to make that flaming pile of fail.

    VGA Announcemnts

Teaser trailer for Del Toro's Insane has me interested. Wasn't it mentioned that he was doing a game and that it would be influenced by the H.P. Lovecraft mythos.
  15. If they're willing to pay inf and not cash I don't see a problem with it.

  16. My search-fu is probably weak but didn't see a thread for it. The teaser trailer for the next Transformers film has been released.
  17. Good lord, looks like Lucas is borrowing a page from the Critic animated series. Didn't Jay's Boss, Phil, attempt to do the same thing. Maybe if we're lucky a incurable disease will strike Lucas before this monstrosity of a bad idea sees the light of day.

Sounds like a better plot than what Mark Millar's Trouble mini series he did a while back, Aunt May was in fact Peter's real mother.
  19. Was able to solo the Honoree mission part with my lvl 50 elec/elec blaster. Was able to draw Honoree out without agroing the rest of his fun time Rikti crew. Then blasted him with lightning field, god I love this attack, reduced a good chunk of his end. Then other attacks wasted what he had left, another jolt of lightning field here and there to keep his end down close to zero. Had a great time, laughed when I saw his end bar down to nothing as I was blasting Honoree and watching him stand there wishing he had the strength to left his arms to fight back.
  20. If you go to cracked.com, they have list of some things

5 most epic one man rampages in history of war

5 real life soldiers who make Rambo like a wimp

6 soldiers who survived things that would kill a terminator

Anyways it goes show that a trained human being is capable taking some punishment and keep on going to kick butt. Batman has trained his body and mind to do something similar to the examples listed.

    -Edit-

Oh yeah it's Cracked.com come so links might be NSFW
  21. I pray that they don't go with the draft were the Lone Ranger is going up against werewolves.
  22. Brave and the Bold was great, just not sure why Alfred would write a story were Bruce's tragedy would pass on to his son. I guess it's one way of insuring that Damian does take up the mantle.

Sym-Bionic Titan, loved the last half were Space Age Love song was playing. It fit the scene well, just like Pulp's Like a Friend in the Venture Bros season finale. As for the shake it, bake it, booty quake it dance scene. I thought it was hilarious that Kimmie was trying to seduce Octus, his reaction to it was funny.
  23. So WB is rebooting the movie. Kind of meh on it, maybe when I start seeing some productions shots, trailers, and such I can make a decision, but till then it's a meh for me
