Hmm... the one with Arnie was okay. Thought I heard that this remake was going to follow the short story it's based on closer than Arnie's movie version.

Wow, definitely has me wanting to see it.
First a live action Phoenix Wright, and now Rurouni Kenshin. Can it get any better. -
Throw in another vote for In the Mouth of Madness, closest thing to a great Lovecraft movie that you're probably going to get.
Here's a few horror films that I own and will throw in. There is going to be a gore factor present in each one. It just varies from title to title.
John Carpenter's The Thing
Event Horizon
Brotherhood of the Wolf
Seven or if you prefer the l33t spelling, Se7en
The Host (Korean monster film)
Victim (released around 2010)
Human Centipede First Sequence
Silence of the Lambs
The Relic
Bram Stroker's Dracula
The Exorcism of Emily Rose
28 Days Later
American Werewolf in London
Evil Dead 2
Silent Hill
John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness
Dagon
The Omen
Rosemary's Baby
Creep Show 2
Scream 1 and 2, wasn't a big fan of 3 and 4
The Ghost and the Darkness
Have fun -
Easier said than done. I've seen people say they won't buy or see a movie/game/tv show because of factor x. Yet I've seen them still go out to buy it or see it. Honestly the reason why Bay can say all this and get away with it is because he draws in $$$. The moment the $$$ stops coming in is when someone will step in and tell Bay to stop. -
Doesn't surprise me. It's Michael Bay that we're talking about.

Is it me or did the art style change? Cause I swear the promo they had of this on the JL: Doom bluray looked better.

I do remember in the Ultimate series that Nick Fury did tell Peter he wanted him eventually under S.H.I.E.D. training and planned to place him in the Ultimates when Peter was old enough. Also before his death he was getting some training. I guess the writers are borrowing from that.

Here's the 1st trailer for the Ultimate Spider-Man. Looks okay, the only thing I'm not sure about is the spider-bike.

Wasn't a fan of the first one, and have no interest in seeing this one.

Quote:It's a very fun series, picked up some the of the trades last year at Comic-Con. Pick it up, I highly recommend this series.I've never really heard of this comic before, I'm going too have to check it now.
It's still in production. From what I can see the YouTube comments. The studio has started a kickstarter to get the remaining funds to complete this animated short. -
Stumbled across this, and thought I'd share with any other fan of the Atomic Robo comics

Outside of Phantom Menace, Maul's had dialogue. I think the thing that irks me is the voice, it sounds whinny to me.

March 9th is when Darth Maul returns in the Star Wars: Clone Wars series. Here's a trailer for it.

Masters of the Universe

I'm sure this will be out along with the Hollywood live action adaptations of Death Note, Cowboy Bebop, and Akira
-
So has anyone here seen Chaos;head? Looks interesting and thinking of picking it up.

Aside from Young Justice, there's the New CGI Green Lantern series, and I know a new Batman series, also CGI and Katana is his sidekick along with a gun-totting Alfred, is in the works but I think this one plans to debut later in the year.
-
From what I've heard the Chibi format is here to stay. Mostly due to the fact that the new Teen Titan episodes will be animated shorts that will air in between other DC Universe shows. At least they managed to get the original voice cast back together.

Here's a preview clip of some new Teen Titans content.

Kind of 'meh' on the new costume. All I want is something close to the level of fun that I had with the Palmiotti and Conner run of PowerGirl
