My toon still has a speedo costume- would that be okay?

Quick question- would you count the Vet Reward powers (Nemesis Staff & Blackwand) as ranged attacks? I never feel like I need to take a ranged attack on my melee toons if I can't fit it because I'll use these powers if necessary. And if you have enough Veteranship, you could even have access to both of them.

Also, GvE pack- it has the Jump Pack, not a Jet Pack, right? Cause if I've missed out on a free Jet Pack all this time I'll be very sad

LOL at Sun Splitter cause I rarely get to anymore

Couldn't get on as much this weekend, only small spurts here and there. Was nice to see some names on my global list light up that I haven't seen in a while- sucked that I really didn't have much time to team and just had to solo it each time I logged on

Was only able to get my WS from 27-31- felt weird to use DXP weekend to level up a lowbie rather than grind for influence w/ my level 50!

Is the fog-of-war lifted permanently from the zone when you use the power, or does it come back once you log out or leave the zone, and then you'll have to use the power again once you come back to the zone?

Thanks for the b-day wishes all! Yeah, it was a fairly good day- a bunch of family came over to help out w/ the Batzy Triplets so that they could let Mrs. Batz and myself steal some time to head out to Friendly's for a quick lunch and sanity break, just the 2 of us. We ended up getting home in time for the next feeding (every 3 hrs) and Friendly's ended up being kind of a quick lunch, but man that Friendly's meal and ice cream never tasted so gooooood! You could say it was barely a close second to having a stein full of Grog's home brewed ale- huzzah!

Hey, I'm in that pic! And so is FG- that was the night he finally earned that badge too after I tried so many failed attempts w/ him, woot!

My moments:

- Achieving the Leader badge by farming Rikti portals

- Finding out that the Rikti portals were nerfed after I got the Leader badge

- The sigh of relief from completing a Master of Statesman's TF run

- Helping to lead a run of (pre-I9) Hami Raids for about 20 days straight w/ Crockpot, Sun Splitter, Noah Bailey, and a few other Hami Raid leaders during that time period

- forming an SG (The Steel Paladins)

- Finally hitting lvl 38 on my MA/SR scrap and experiencing perma-Elude for about a day or 2 until the nerfs came in I4 (or was it I3? Can't remember anymore...)

- Taking part in finally taking down Hami post I9 for the first time on our server (and letting Hami know we will not go quietly into the night!!!)

- Taking down the AVs in RV when the zone was new and there were mobs and mobs of heroes there

- Hearing "MoOoOoOoOoo, dammit" in the Hive

On the flipside, one of my worst moments was:
Letting Cyberw0lfman into my SG, only to have to kick him out eventually because of his antics (and we all know what that got me )

Glad this event turned out well, was sorry I wasn't able to make this event. Great job to all the organizers and participants!

Me and some friends tried doing the hero septad and were not awarded the badge. (we had a kheld friend that wanted the badge).

We tried various settings but nothing seemed to work. I sent in a bug report.

The hero vs hero pentad worked fine for us though.

tried doing an unrated pentad hero vs villain match, no badge- is it bugged?

In addition to being aware of the crash and popping Conserve Energy before it happens, I also pop Eye of the Magus and GEAS if they're up and if I don't have purps or oranges available. Once the crash hits, I pop the heals as quickly as possible, hoping that the EotM can offset any incoming damage before I can get the self heals going. As long as my HP is in a comfortable range, I stay in the fight and Conserve Energy sometimes lets me squeeze out a few attacks. I don't worry about bringing my shields back up and instead rely on EotM to hold up until the end crash finishes. Once GEAS shoots my end right back up, I start putting up all my shields.

If EotM and GEAS are not up, I substitute them with purps and oranges and use the blues to deal with the end crash, but I use the same strategy. But in most cases, I usually have the inspirations I need to deal w/ the LF crash, so I alternate between using the accolades and inspirations.

UltraBatz would probably be the type to join the Illuminati- he's a pretty easy going, good natured guy, yet fierce warrior and tactician. He always believes in strength in numbers in order to defeat evil. He's opposite of a Batman in some ways, probably more like a Superman or Spiderman when it comes to his persona. He's also a bit naive though when it comes the shades of gray- to him, good guys are good, bad guys are bad, and fighting for a just cause should be enough to get you to triumph over evil. He may have some difficulties when Going Rogue (not Going Rouge!!! aaargh!) comes out.
