No veteran attacks will make aggroing her hard. You need both provoke and hasten in this case.

Yes thats boring to me. My goal is the create the most powerful character without limitations. (Limitation being no temps)

I could go from 1-50 on a character with just using brawl and no enhancements. It'd be about as fun as gouging my eyes out. Flashing back to the early arcs where you lose your powers, no enhancements, debuffing yourself, and buffing enemies is on about the same scale of fun as the above in my opinion.

It also does not show skill either in my opinion. To create a metaphor, you cannot say Michael Jordan was not the best basketball player unless he could play one handed while hopping on one foot because even if he could do that a guy with both his feet and both his hands would beat him. Thus, limitations do not display a person's skill.

If you scroll down more he gives a whole list of the ones he took down. And he has VIDS! The more I see this the more I realize that the heavy lifter for all this boils down once again to Poison Trap. The rest of the power picks are just the assist IMO. I had some successes against a lot of the vindicators on a pretty screwed up SO build a long while back with my trapper.

You read it wrong. No one has soloed LRSF.

Peace on Earth plays an Ill/Rad controller. The hero opposite of Bots/Trap. He's managed to solo everything but LGTF and hero side STF from what I've heard.

Here is another update from the past few days of Arch Villain and Hero fighting. Ultimus is currently 49 and has almost soloed EVERY SINGLE ARCH VILLAIN AND GIANT MONSTER IN THE GAME! However, I still have a few surprises to reveal once I hit 50. -- You can guess but you'll have to wait and see.

Special Note: You may be wondering why I had a bunch of big yellow inspirations. Originally, I had thought he turns on Elude and then tries to run away. Either they removed this or he just didn't do it. He did do the run text but since he was immobilized he didn't run. My plan was going to be to pop 2 of those inspirations if he used Elude to run (Which gives +def, +run speed, and +Mez Resistance) and hope to stack enough immobilizes he'd be stuck. Luckily, it never came to that.

In the combat tab it says you henchman protected you for a certain amount of points.

When you resummon a henchmen they automatically are replaced in Defensive follow. If you get hit during that process, they share the damage. If I had used bodyguard during this fight, my Bots would be dead.

Ok then, in the Flashback Guide for Villains that I wrote, I identified certain.....more challenging arcs and designated them as the IRON MAN FLASHBACK CHALLENGE.

The challenge parameters are listed for the arc.

Among the screenshots to prove it are:
1. screenshot of the mission description
2. screenshot that shows you are indeed in max difficulty
3. screenshot of the status window that appears at the end that shows all the parameters and which ones you succeeded.

Gotta succeed at em all, fail even one, and you sir are NO Iron Man.

Frankly flashback is unfair because your enhancements are weaker (Even though you have more) then if you were actually that level due to the way they scale. I'm not interested in flashing back to Mercy and fighting +2's and bosses. I want to fight GM's and the do the level 50 SF's.

I fought this guy once before, Fusionette and Faultline you can pickup in this mission along with some Rikti guy. This guy was tougher the first because he summoned elite bosses. He was nothing this time.

Please keep in mind the history of City of Heroes. Back when the first Issues came out as "free expansions" other comparable Triple A MMO's were turning out for pay boxed expansions. I guess the term has just stuck around as a hold over. I'll pass your sentiments along to the Marketing Types.

Don't some of the other major MMOs offer their major new content as expansions that are boxed and must be paid for separately from subscription costs? If I'm mistaken, fine. Thing is a paid expansion is generally 4 or 5 times the content of a free expansion simply because it will cost money.

Look at COV, which could be said is a pay expansion, -- It introduced new AT's, Powersets, zones, and tons of missions.

MANY people have said I haven't fought a "true" Arch Villain until Lord Recluse. So this is taken from my AV thread. I defeated LORD RECLUSE and boy was he EASY for me. I don't see what the big deal was. I've fought harder AV's then him.

Here's another small update, this was a fun fight and something different

Ultimus battles and defeats the Goddess Hequat

Here I smash down the door to her world.

After a long journey I find my opponent

Her powersink deals damage, is auto-hit, and drains my endurance.

She struggles against me

I take the fight to range and begin blasting her away.

And I will wreck a goddess

Poison trap makes her puke too

Using my magical staff I aim for the final blow

And I destroy her

Check this out, I am fighting a Hero that summons Carrion Creepers. Well she made so many that I fired my missles off (Stacking burn patches) and it really toasted her...

Yes it took that much of her health away... it was like 20 stacked burn patches?

People have been asking when I am going to update again so I am taking the time now to do it. These screenshots are over the course of the week so some are a few days old I just never put them up yet.

I want to make special note of the first hero. Arch Villains normally spawn as even level to you, Positron spawned in my Valkyrie mission and he spawned as a +1 Hero! Positron is considered EXTREMELY hard by most Masterminds at even level yet I destroyed him at +1! Well enjoy the screenshots!

Even the +1 Positron was no match for me

His suit isn't fire resistant

His tier 9 can get annoying

That green glow makes him almost untouchable

Here she comes back to life... the MOG will take away her HP though and halt regeneration

MOG takes her health but her defense and damage resistance is incredible!

Special note about this guy. He is bugged. He is labeled as a +2 Elite Boss in these screenshots but he is REALLY a +2 Hero. It took me around 10 minutes to even kill this guy due to him being 2 levels over me. (Remember AV's normally spawn even level!) It was a fun fight though. I didn't even realize it until half way through it so I have few screenshots.

It took me about 5 minutes to get him this far...

His repulsion field made it EXTREMELY hard to lay down poison trap...

Without Poison trap, I could not budge his hp

After a long fight, I finally take him down

I've been busy crushing my Nemesis Automation that appeared on the forum. He's gone now with the help of the "Summon Ex-Libris" power.

If you set the difficulty to max an Elite Boss spawns as an Arch Villain (Assuming it is a downgraded AV)
