Title says it all, the Unique +Regen +Rec numina recipe level 37 is up for 120 million villain side.
-
During my daily activities as a Villain I had soloed Manticore and he dropped something interesting. At first I was hoping it was going to be a Purple Recipe but it was something worth so much more. It was the City of Heroes/Villains story bible, and it had a new entry regarding "Going Rogue." As I began reading it the realization of "The Truth" nearly caused me to pass out from disbelief.
It begins with Hardcase. He lures villains in right at the center of their career. These villains have proven they are quite capable but haven't reached their full potential yet. He promises POWER, DEATH, DEMONS, and WEALTH everything a villain could want outside of women. (Why does he hate the Carnival of Shadows? Maybe he got turned down for a date) -- Well, it turns out this guy is the Emperor Palpatine of the game. He seduces these villains to the side of Light by forcing them to save people from demons or protecting the innocent.
Here was a recorded conversation:
*Villain Saves Someone*
"I shouldn't of done that.. he was unarmed."
Hardcase says, "No no, its what we do to our own kind" and so the path to light begins.
For you see, Hardcase is the mastermind behind "Going Rogue." Its when his Praetorian version is added to the Hero Side via a Nemesis Plot that everything comes full circle...
You heard it here first. -
If I was that person, here is the one that will have the person back off and possibly quit the team:
"Hey Sexy"
Respond with "Ever cybered with a gay guy before?" -
I was just curious if anyone might have a spread sheet that shows at each level how many deaths it would take to get the 1.2 million debt badge. Yes debt caps at 5 outdoor deaths but here is what I mean:
Level 34: 64,000 debt cap = 5 outdoor deaths = 50 total deaths for 640,000, or 100 deaths to reach the badge. -
Quote:Thats because you post like 100 times a day. Your rating goes up the more you post. I could spam 500 posts a day and be #1 on rep meters even with negs because like every 10 posts = 10 rep point.I don't worry about negative rep, and you shouldn't either. Why? Because the amount of negative rep someone can give you is a THIRD of the amount of positive rep someone can give you.
The whole system is skewed to slowly bring people up. Which means that to actually get a negative rep over time you have to either:
- Ask for it or
- Be a REAL jerkwad.
I personally have received an EQUAL NUMBER of positive and negative rep votes, and look at my score. Proof positive. -
Quote:I stated in my original post its the EXACT same mission. I went into a Council Newspaper mission and used a +2 Mekman minion. I come back home (And I gained about 1 million damage went from 500,000 to 1,500,00). I go and do Hardcase's two story arcs (and I did NOT level) and I go back to the mission and now I cannot get damage? There's other threads that address this in the forum, so I'll try and summarize:
First, the stupid question: You're sure you weren't in the AE, right?
Second, if you have any accolades (or possibly any other sorts of buffs) that raises your HP above the BASE LEVEL (so you have 225 BASE HP + 100 BONUS HP), any damage you take first takes off the bonus HP and (stupidly) that doesn't count toward the badge.
So, using Whimpitron up there (must be a petless MM):
- He sets up an overnight. The guy he goes up against does 98 points of damage each hit. Absolutely NO work on the badge is done. Whimpitron pouts.
- Next night, he finds a different guy, and gets 212 points of damage each hit! Whimpitron is somewhat disturbed to discover that only 112 points of it counts, but hey, it's damage.
- Third night, Whimpitron figures he'll find someone who does 220 points of damage. He manages to make it through the night without dying, and makes much badge progress. Life is good.
Edited to add: You possibly, while playing, added a set enhancement that changed your bonus HP, which would have made that specific mission go from "useful" to "aw, crap."
Even if my hp falls below 50% I cannot get it. NOTHING has changed. -
So I was AFK damage farming a bit and came back home and played the same character. I played for about an hour and I did NOT LEVEL AT ALL or anything of that nature. I go back to farm damage (For my Born in Battle accolade) and now the damage meter does not update.
What is going on? How do I fix it?
Edit: I should also note I am using the EXACT SAME MISSION. Its a newspaper mission in St. Martial. -
Quote:Yeah this post is from a long time ago... not sure why it was bumped. Just ignore it, it predates the other thread but the other thread is much larger. Please post thereo ya forgot to say been done already sorry

Well the fact we can customize the colors though is going to be awesome. From what I understand, you can customize the energy around the hands, the explosion, each individual attack, etc.

Quote:Well the forum developers can turn on the names on Rep instead of leaving them hidden. On a different board that uses this same board software they display WHO gives you rep good or bad. So people can't neg you and hide. Imo, they should enable it on this board too.I know this is kind of an odd question, but how do you (generic) deal with people who give negative rep without signing their name?
Just today, for example, I had a positive reputation from someone who signed their name (thank you), and a negative reputation for THE EXACT SAME THING, with no name.
It bothers me because I feel like it's an attack I can't defend against.
How should I deal with it? Ignore it entirely? Change what they didn't like so I don't get further negative rep? Do what they suggest in hopes they will come back and give me positive rep? -
The ToD has a 15% chance vs 20% chance on Mako's Bite. My question is overall, do they deal the same damage or does one out perform the other? Lethal is a little more resisted but not sure if the greater chance to proc makes up for that?

Did we get the patch with the chat bug fixed again? (Basically we went from Patch A, reverted to Patch B, did we revert again to Patch A?)

I have COX and I am located in Arizona. I am getting randomly disconnected from COH tonight. When it happens I cannot access the COH website but other games work just fine like World of Warcraft and so does visiting other websites. I did notice though I cannot access the Facebook website during this either but I can access myspace.
Anyone have a clue what might be going on? -

Quote:Well I was looking at Sonic and I noticed a few things:Sonic would be the best choice if you're main concerned about soloing since it's easily does the best at single target damage.
Ice does decent single target and AoE and Freeze Ray early on does make this a lot safer of a solo choice.
Dark is pretty rough solo, but the mitigation syngery between -Tohit aoes and +def shields is quite noticeable on teams coming from playing Ice/Cold regularly. You might find issue with the set lacking a good solid hold/stun though like Screech and Freeze Ray.
1) Long animation times
2) The debuff only lasts up to 5-10 seconds depending on the power. How many stacks does it take to deal "extra" damage since Sonic's attacks deal less damage at the start?
I don't see how Sonic would deal more damage solo against a single target then Ice. I want to be proven wrong and that is why I am asking, so please share -

Power Customization - VFX
- Do all of your powers FX appear the way you expect them to appear, based on the colors you've selected?
- Do the FX appear the way you expect them to appear on critters and/or allies?
- Do continuing (Fire damage over time) and/or conditional FX (block of ice hold) appear correct on yourself, allies, and/or targets?
- Do your customized FX stay persistent when you zone, when you enter missions, supergroup bases, log off/log in, exemplar, sidekick, etc.
- Does everything work as expected when you switch costumes, switch costumes that involve a gender change, use temporary disguise powers such as the Halloween costume change powers, etc.
- Do other players VFX appear the way they expect them to appear? Do your VFX appear the way you expect them to appear to other players?
- Do customized animations play consistently as expected?
- Do they play consistently while flying, while jumping, while moving, while various toggles are active, while disguised, etc? (If not, be very specific about the particular combination of body types, toggles, etc)
- Do other players' animations appear the way they expect them to appear? Do your animations appear to other players the way you expect them to appear?
-
If I16 allows me to just login and play with the customization I would be fine with that
-- In the past you could get to the creator screen but just not login with a character.

Someone is telling me Ice Blast for Corruptors (NOT Blasters) was nerfed around Issue 13. They said it was made "weaker" and I swear they are wrong. Was the numbers ever modified? The animations are still all at 1.0 for casting time. Was damage reduced?
-
Not sure if you are being misleading or serious (So I am asking). Is Dark Blast really good? How is it damage wise against a single target compared to something like Ice?
