Hmmmmm,
Am I the only one who's wondering how Lighthouse came by this information?
He's a Rikti Spy I tell you!
The becon is not to warn naval traffic! It's to signal the mothership! The mothership I tell you! -
Does this mean Soma overload can result in thread necromancy?

How do I get Bug Hunter?
This is a special badge only granted specifically by the developers, for finding and reporting to either Cryptic or NCSoft directly major, serious and game breaking bugs. The amount of characters that have gotten this badge legitimately can be counted on one hand, with room left over. At one point a few characters got the badge through a bug in the system.

Might want to update this, Snow... after the I9 beta, at least four people were awarded the badge, that I know of, definitely moving the number beyond being able to count on one hand

Hey Positron, how about you have a hero that asks for a cookie as a reward? Maybe the son of a Hittite diety...

Totaly awesome and totaly deserved.
Congradulations Beefcake. -
The issue of the loud WoW talkers will be fixed in the next server fission.
Also, Mancusans will only spawn in Telenphier Conax missions. -

Speaking of which, /hide if you don't want to be bothered. People going into PvP zones usually do a /whoall, and are more likely to leave a slower zone.

This is a great suggestion, and I can't emphasize it enough.
/hide combined with placing the farm in an out of the way location allowed me to farm both my hero and my villain from 0 to 400 without even being molested once. -

I dont know what rad powers the shivans use, but they are helpful -- they add extra damage, and they use some rad-like powers.
[/ QUOTE ]
I agree with this fully.
Recently, I was doing the Sister Psy Task Force, and one Shivan was the difference between not being able to move Clamor's HP and taking her down in a few minutes.
I think they must have a -regen in their powers somewhere. -

If I lived near Austin I'd totally go and pretend I was someone else. Like Anti-Catwhoorg or LiquidX or something, (maybe that Puffyshirt guy I hear mentioned every once in a while).
How would anyone else know the difference? I'm tempted to go just to sew confusion and mayhem! Bwaahahahaaha!

Funny, I was thinking I'd go and pretend to be Craban or Friggin_Taser.

This does point out the fact that we've never seen Alexa and Craban in the same place together.
Or CuppaJoe and Friggin Taser, either!

Some badges have crazy requirements, and are not just challenging, but boring (i.e. Illusionist). This can't be just because it's got an accolade associated with it, because I soloed Croatoa and got every defeat badge for that accolade in the course of doing regular missions (something that's impossible with the Archmage accolade). Might some badges requirements be reduced like Zookeeper was?
[/ QUOTE ]
Not sure I agree that the requirements for the Archmage badge are signifigantly greater time wise than the requirements for the Geas of the Kind Ones badge.
For the illusionist, you can get a farm team of 8 people and have the badge in -- if memory serves -- about 2 hours. The Geas badge requires 3 rare monster spawn badges. Each one alone will require about 2 hours of camping, and you still need a team to take them down (well, except for Sally, where it's just polite). -

Since you said you'd listen to suggestions for improvement:
I have a problem with badges being awarded to only the team that does the most damage to the monster, or any other competitive scheme, because it favors AT's that do damage over many support AT's.
To be specific, my tank had to fight the Kraken 4 times before he got the badge for defeating the Kraken. Part of this is bad luck, but much of it is due to the fact that what I add to a team, that is "Aggro control" I am effectively adding to any other team that is competing with me for the badge. Effectivelty, I am a liability to a team as a member because if there were a team with me and 7 blasters and another team of 8 blasters, the team with 8 blasters would be doing more damage and would still benefit from my "tanking" for them, because the Kraken's aggro would be focused on me.
So, please consider changing the system to have everyone on a team that does damage awarded the badge.

Kill Count badges (of which the Giant Monster badges are, just with a Kill Count of 1) require you/your team do 25% of the entity's HP in damage in order to get credit. So in theory 4 teams could all get credit (much more likely that 3 teams will get credit).
In your scenario of Tanker + 7 blasters vs. 8 blasters, I have to assume that both teams would get the badge, since both teams are going to contribute over 25% damage to the entity.
[/ QUOTE ]
Cool. Thanks for the clarification.
And for finding my suggestion so good you ran (not flew as that would violate the EULA) around the world fast enough to reverse time and implement it before I suggested it.
Also, as a follow up question. What about summoned illusionists. Do you have to do 25% damage to them before they disappear? Any amount of damage? Kill them entirely before they disappear? -

Thanks alot for compiling this.
The only thing I can think to add is the "I'm a Quantum/Void and you're a Kheldian" effect.
A Void will attack a Kheldian even if other characters are attacking the void in question and the Kheldian is not.
Not sure it's common enough to list, though. -

Nerf Sploots!
[/ QUOTE ]
I presume you mean Spatialy Aware Lower Optomoligists ...
Honestly, all you guys see is a Delta-37 "Sploot" as you put it rip through the Forest of Clave and Clay and you get jealous.
Let me ask you something. Ever wonder why you see so few of these "overpowered" Sploots in the forest?
Well I gotta tell you, if you spent 1 measly hour as a Delta-PI "Sploot" you would NEVER, NEVER suggest they are overpowered. You have to go through 15 side managers for every delta, and that is 15 gruling, grinding managers at that. None of those cheesy pop-over managers. Compared to just rolling a Navagation/Isolator Soma, Sploots are a nightmare to gain deltas. -
I for one will be enraged if they put in SC before they address the fact that there is no discernable differnance between the up-lepton Soma and the meson-quark Soma's. I mean come on ... how hard is it to come up with a new proseon-veta set that will let you tell at a glance who is upspinnning a boson and who is right adjusting a megasoma.
Every time I see that I think: What is this? EQ with negative probability matricies! -

It says RIGHT in the description of Herdion College Composers that ALL forms of liter-fic expression REQUIRE the insperation provided by the sacred impliment of insperation.
For Zephyr-poets it happens to be the hammer.
It is totaly unrealistic that he can only have the hammer available only after Delta-18 and then you have to wait to slot it so you can only have it even HALF the time at Delta-33.
Lets have some semblance of realism here people. -

Don't sweat it.
All you have to do is find someone with the Jilliwack primary or the Festoon secondary. Then, head down to SZ and find some paltroons. You will get all the MP's you need from them. -
I think the range enhancer will only affect the range to the enemy that is the debuff target.
The range of the rez never really bothered me, because I either TP them to me, or stand on one and TP the other to me. Only had three people die simultaniously once, and they were considerate enough to all die close together.
