I'm getting this same "Certification or Voucher buy failed, current request is still being processed." darned thing again and again while trying to purchase an emote. Every now and again I get "Please wait a moment." or "Your account inventory is being loaded. Try again in a few moments." but in the end nothing happens at all.

*edit* logged out then back in on another character with same result, logged out and back in onto first character, zoned out of oro and then back in, tried again, and was successful. Go figure.

Tanking all 8 GM's was a hoot! Anti-Matter, Bobcat, Dominatrix, Diabolique, Marauder, Chimera, Black Swan, and Battle Maiden all fell to the formidable forces of Primal Earth! Well done!

As a tanker, I prefer diamagnetic and keep it slotted as my main interface power, but I also have paralytic and gravitic for special occassions. Have not gone for reactive at all yet.

Since we have such a great community here on Guardian, I thought it might be cool to see what kind of suggestions we can come up with for future game content. So feel free to bring up anything you think would be cool to have in-game. New archetypes, new power sets, more of something we already have just a taste of...the world's our oyster!

#1 - I've made this suggestion every couple of years here at the forums (last time was 2007), and I will continue to do so until my dream comes true! LOL I want a Radiation Tanker!

Primary: Radiation Aura

1 - Choking Cloud
1 - Radiation Shield
2 - Radiant Aura
6 - Enervating Shield
8 - Metabolic Shield
12 - Meltdown
18 - Uranium Armor
26 - Plutonium Armor
32 - Mutation

Secondary: Radiation Melee

1 - Reactor
2 - Fission
4 - Fusion
10 - Taunt
16 - Breach
20 - Haze
28 - Build Up
35 - Atomic Bomb
38 - Ground Zero

#2 - would love to see more chaining attack combos brought into the game like Dual Blades has.

#3 - lvl 54 Incarnate only zone in Praetoria where we can get Tipz mishz, street hunt, and introduce new story arcs.

#4 - open up all lvl 54 content to give thread drops and Incarnate salvage rewards. So hunting lvl 54 Rikti in RWZ, or Rularuu, or fighting Hami, or a Mothership Raid, or any TF that can be scaled up to 54.

OK, is it just me or does the Electric Armor "Grounded" power not provide as good knockback resistance as other Tanker KB res powers? I'm being slammed on my a$$ all over the place during the Lambda trial and it's freakin' me out! LOL

Also, "Static Shield" is supposed to give resistance to holds, but I keep getting Terrorized during Lambda as well. Anyone know what's up with this?

And more importantly - how/what do I need to slot to compensate for these and eliminate them?

The majority of times that I was sequestered, I never lost aggro. The few times I did, there was another tank there that pulled the aggro off me. And NEVER, I repeat, NEVER has there been a team wipe when I was sequestered in AV melee. And I always told the league ahead of time that I was ignoring the sequestration warnings. But since I've changed my style/technique due to thread opinion/request, it's now a moot point.

Thanks Krag, great post. I whole-heartedly agree that ideas/suggestions aka constructive criticisms make all the difference in the world. I've changed my BAF playstyle quite a bit since I started that thread, and while I am still not always completely satisfied with the process of off-tanking due to sequestration (I usually die at least once per BAF now due to being sequestered out of the AoE zone for buffs, yet having kept AV aggro so they pwnz my shaggy hide) the end result of league victory is all that really matters. Over the years I've called several other servers home (Infinity, Champion, Liberty, Freedom, Justice) but Guardian has always called me back. Great peeps, great fun! Tank you all!

Interesting, I hadn't noticed that, but I definitely noticed that this doesn't apply to the turrets in BAF:

Warworks Radial Superior Ally:

Draws forth the essences of a vanquished WarWorks Mk-VI "Victoria" and Battle Orb from the Well of the Furies to serve you temporarily. The Battle Orb is untargetable by foes, but has no offensive powers at all.

I watched my battle orb get destroyed by those guns enough times that I didn't take it at tier 4.

No idea - I'm pretty sure I've seen pets get sequestered. But decoys are unaffected no?

First off I would like to say thank you to everyone who has replied. This is exactly the sort of conversation/discussion I was hoping to engage here. I really wanted to hear peoples honest opinions about this - especially in regards to how big of a deal this sequestration seems to be. So, keeping that in mind, last night I had the opportunity to join a pug and have two successful BAFs with them. I was the only tank, but thankfully there were 3 or 4 brutes. There was no designated group to deal with the reinforcement spawns either.

So I followed everyone's advice (from this thread) and off-tanked. I stayed in melee with the AVs, taunted the incoming spawns, until the second seq. warning, at which time I shield charged into the adds and stayed there to hold their aggro, and the additional reinforcements as they came. League-mates were quick to support and deal out the dmg to take the adds down. All the while I kept an eye on the Seige/Nightstar battle just in case, but there were no issues whatsoever, the brutes and other melee types held/shared the AVs aggro very well, and the league took them down without incident.

I actually quite enjoyed this "good tactic" or "better tactic" or whatever you want/prefer to call it. I'm tank enough to admit when I'm wrong...and I still don't think I am. LOL

It's a game. It's all fun. And ultimately, if the majority consensus of my league-mates is that they want me to get out of AV aggro to avoid sequestration, so be it. I just want everyone to have a good time. Sometimes I think people take this game far too seriously.

PS - have to admit being called a bad/poor tank no less than 2 dozen times in the same thread has me feeling pretty ticked off, so don't be surprised to find a big, grumpy-as-hell white tiger knocking on your door looking for a little one-on-one button mashing. It's a joke people! *sheesh* lighten up. LOL
