Precisely why I always try to respond to requests with a polite 'no thanks, some other time?' or similar when I'm soloing/WW'ing/etc. Of course some activities like respecs and such mean you can't see your chat window to respond.

Actually I just played that one tonight and it *wasn't* in the layer cake. It was in a really long tunnel map that was pretty interesting - it reminded me of some of the CoT tunnel maps redside where they twist and turn underneath themselves. I find that map interesting.
Yeah, I drop those too. And any 'hunt 40 whatever' - 10 or 20 is usually OK, but 40 just takes forever...

Have you done all of the unlockable contacts? I've been working thru them specifically and really enjoying those arcs.

I assume there's a visual clue for when Unstoppable is up and running, so you know when to pour it on?

Perhaps we should just all make a point of spending 15-20 minutes sweeping at the start of a play session, just to help 'improve the environment' as it were.

Think of it this way. The -range debuff won't protect the guy with Hurricane running. But if he's in the middle of the fray and the Tsoo near him is trying to target the blaster at the back of the party, that blaster is getting the benefit of the debuff.

Well, until the Hurricane throws him into the blaster's lap, but nothing is perfect.

It's also exceedingly frustrating on Freakshow. When that big tanker gets up you have to wait for him to finish getting up, and he gets to smack you before you can even target him.

Meanwhile, rezzed PCs get whooped on mercilessly. :P Well, depending upon which rez you're using, of course.

Don;t get me wrong, I'm all for stomping on exploits. This is just a little unintended side-effect.

As a lifelong resident of states south of the Mason-Dixon line, I have never been a Yankee, nor attended one of their 'games' as the late great George Carlin would define it. GvE can obviously still be had through the NCSoft store. And the CoV collector's edition has always been fairly easy to find, whether thru Amazon, eBay, etc. But I always had trouble finding the CoH CE set which has that slide sprint - I've been irregularly looking for a couple of years now.

Be sure and try Mids that way for sure if you haven't already. Mids requires the .Net framework, and I'm not certain Crossover supports that (tho I could be off base since I haven't owned a Mac since my original 128K first edition.)

Don't forget the redside unlockable contacts! It's easy to forget about Veluna Lunata, Tarixus, Crimson Revenant, the Slot Machine, etc. and those are some fun arcs.
