Too bad, you guys dont have a web-based City of Heroes client. I don't mind looking at cheezy graphics.. just give me a way to sign in and get some xp.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Oooooohhhhhhh.....

    Now THERE's a thought!

    *cough* DO IT! *cough*
  2. *sigh*

I wish they'd do a crouch emote. You know,

    /em crouch

Kinda like you're waiting for some poor loo-hoo-za-herr to get dumb enough to stumble across your path. Coiled, ready to spring. (Picture Batman crouching on a gargoyle, or Spidey on top of a building. THAT kind of crouch.)

When I have to go AFK for a few, I'd like to perch my character on a building corner and crouch. Sit just doesn't look real good.

    *sigh*
  3. I have recompiled the list and reposted it here. Please post further additions there.

    Thanks!!
  4. Thank YOU!

I will probably let this sit for another week, and then post a revised version that has all the additional stuff posted by users included in it.

Glad the thing could be of use to you!
  5. In the event that I hadn't made it clear before, NONE OF THIS is my work. It started as another thread, and someone had asked the original poster to keep the list current. Nothing seemed to be happening with it, so I recompiled the thread in MS Word (read: copied and pasted), sorted it, and reposted it.

When the FAQ/User Guides forum opened up, I moved the stuff here.

Again, this is all you guys at work here. I'm just a glorified compiler, but I'm willing to keep doing it as long as everyone thinks it's a useful thing.
  6. I am always looking for additions to the guide. Unfortunately, I can't edit the top post, so I will have to revise the list to include all of your great submissions, and then post a new thread ("Guide to Jargon & Abbreviations, v1.5").

Thanks all for your comments and input!!

My intention is to keep this first post sorted as you guys submit more stuff. I apologize for starting a seemingly duplicate thread, but it seemed the best way to keep the sorted list at the top.

    Enjoy!
