    A while back I started up a little solo Hero project on Protector. Shortly thereafter, my GF also started a Character and we've been running them as a pair since. For the most part, this is a pair we'll run every now and then. No set play time is intended.

    On the other servers we play on, we've started SG/VGs for the Characters we have on the server. I'm not really wanting to do that this time around since the number of Characters I'll have is is maybe 2-3.

    What I'm looking for is a very casual SG for my GF & I to belong to. I don't consider to be too wanting, but this is what I'm looking for in a SG:

    • Base Access (Of Course...)
    • Reasonable Salvage, Insperation, and Enhancement access
    • No Set Kick Requirements (These are on and off again Characters)
    • The ability to invite into the SG ourselves

    What we offer are a couple of players who have a fair knowledge of the game and don't have issues with adding Salvage, Insperations, or Enhancements to the Group, as well as, staying in SG mode. We're looking for a SG for us to hang out hats in on Protector.

    • Liberty - My "Home Server", I think like 18 or so characters there
    • Justice - One of my "Main Servers", Mostly Heroes, a couple of Villains
    • Pinnacle - The other "Main Server", All Heroes
    • Virtue - My "Main Villain Server", Do have a few heroes there as well
    • Freedom - All Heroes, but I don't play there as often

    Outside of Liberty, it starts usually as a place either I or my GF wanted to start a solo project on, but eventually the other decided to get in on the act as well. We do try and cycle through the servers, at least, on a regular basis.

    On each "Main" Server we have a SG we've set up ourselves for our own characters. We've either inherited or accidentally gotten into leadership spots on most of the other servers, but not all.

    Yea, I think I have a moderate case of Altitis...

    A couple of tweaks (All Red-side (Villains))
    Contact to run Midnighter's Arc Red-side is on Sharkshead near Hospital. The Contact by the University in Cap is for the origin of Power side arc.
    Since the Midnighter's Arc Contact is in Shark, you must be about Lvl 20 to run it.

    Also Paragonwiki is your friend.

    The Vet rewards are just fine as is.

    One other side note...
    I've actually been more focused on the Ally Rez (University/Hospital) and Ally Heal (Midnighters(once unlocked)/Hospital) on my Alts more than anything else.

    Generally Monday and Friday are the "usual" Maintance times. But, this has always been reserved from 8 - 10AM CST for updates, and the like. I still remember when the servers went down daily at this time frame...

    Q: Positron what do you make of this horrible series of mass collapses?
    Posi: Well it was really inevitable you know. All these SG's around the city, I don't think the Government agencies in charge of super powered individuals ever gave thought to a need for zoning rights for (an ominous creaking sound is heard over the phone line)bases. 'Scuse me I err need to go look at (a loud crash is heard followed by muffled cursing) Gotta go *click*

    Q to Statesman: States what is your take on this development?
    Statesman: I really can't talk right now (crashes, bangs and thuds can be heard) I'm holding up half of the south end of the city *line goes dead*

    Well there you have it folks our own Statesman and Positron on the current disaster affecting our beloved city. We also had a chance to Speak with Lord Recluse on the issue.

    Q: Lord Recluse, as Supreme ruler of the Rogue Isles, what do you plan on doing about the recent collapses?
    Lord Recluse: Doing? DOING? I will do NOTHING! These simpletons should have thought thses bases through a little better. Always trying to cut corners, instead of buying their building supplies from a reputable well known firm, such as.. Arachnos. Not to mention this is the Rogue Isles, the strong take what they desire. I foresee a large trade in used base items in the very near future.

    The City works department is in an absolute panic as the number of streets that have collapsed seems to be increasing at an alarming rate. As well as the sewer and water departments sending out every available crew to try and repair water and sewage lines as soon as possible.

    Honestly, I don't think I can give split views on this.

    What I think so far...
    • Having your forum login = game login: Bad!
    • Not being able to view all posts in one go (i.e. View all option): Not good. I used that option quite a lot.
    • Allowing Images in Sigs: I could care less. If it wasn't for some of the linking I do like, I'd not even bother with viewing Sigs at all (Like I do w/Avatars).
    • Stickies at the top of evey page: Not sure yet. Could get annoying after a while.

    (I may come back and edit this after further workings through the forums...)

    Otherwise, ok. But then again, I wasn't overly thrilled w/CO's boards either (or maybe it's I don't care for vBulletin...).

    You can still find him. He's one of the Story Arcs I like running in the 14-19 Range. Heck, my GF & I have several characters in that range right now sitting on the finallie mission as is. Depending on the time and our mood varies between a Kill-all or just enough to get to the good Dr. and Company.

    I also wanted to threadjack a moment to mention of a experience I have a few weeks back.
    The GF & I were working a under 20 pair through Tremblor's Arc in Fault and had Nocturne to do. I perfer having a larger team doing this run, so I started recuriting (one of the rarer times in the last few months). Snagged a 15-16 Scrapper, I think, from Steel. The player had mentioned he'd never been to Fault before (Everyone start thinking AE baby here). I gave him good directions on how to get there from Steel and sent him a invite.
    We managed to get a Blaster in the mix as well. What was interesting is: 1) the Scarapper managed to get to Fault in good time (something like 5-7 minutes) and 2) was less than 3 months in and had no AE badges! A curious and welcome suprise for the GF & I. And he played rather well. He managed to get a Level and a half, I think, before he called it a night.

    I will admit that was a fun couple of hours and I hope a learning experience for that player as well.
