  1. Oh lordy...

I think you're right. It might be well worth it to have Mr. Dreyfuss read the NCSoft EULA.

And I'm a little disturbed w/the Damages segment. Please tell me that is actually apart of the iTunes EULA. Cause otherwise who in their right mind would install iTunes in a system running a nuke Reactor?

    Thank you for the time...

Only reason I didn't mention 2.5 was 3.0 covers the same and would of gotten the OP as much up to date as possible.

  3. I'm just waiting for the Party Pack to go on sale.
Then it'd be a price worth getting.

I tend to think that Bleeding Cool got it wrong. And still no news on Tim Drake/Red Robin.

Oh, and do you think you could change your text color there? Kinda hard to read

I'd say Bleeding Cool got it wrong.
From the IGN article on Nightwing:

    Quote:
Dick isn't the only former Robin to be returning to the big time though, as the one and only Jason Todd gets an ongoing title of his own. Red Hood and the Outlaws #1 will be written by Scott Lobdell and drawn by relative newcomer Kenneth Rocafort. In it, Jason Todd finds himself as a leader of a team of antiheroes – including "Green Arrow's rejected sidekick Arsenal and Starfire, a former prisoner of intergalactic war."
"He's proven to be such a popular character over the last several years with our DVD and also the recent limited series," Marts said of Jason Todd. "The success of those stories helped in earning him his own new title and we're lucky to have Scott Lobdell writing that storyline and Kenneth Rocafort on art, who is a great new talent that we've brought into the DC fold. Jason Todd's group will have several different exciting characters from the DC Universe – some we've seen before and some we haven't."

The Mangazine intro (Time Raft Arc) and Vol. 1 of the series are B/W. Though there is a Color Remix of the Time Raft Arc. Vol. 2 is All Color.

As Far as the Pocket Mangas go...
GD PMs 1-11 are all the B/W series (Time Raft & Vol.1)
GDII PMs are the Color Series (Vol. 2. Antarctic store shows through #10 (Vol. 2 #57 - 61))

Also don't forget the Gold Bricks. But even Brick #5 only goes through Vol. 2 #75 and Brick #6 goes to Vol. 2 #100.

    Thank you for the time...
  6. Interesting.

Left some comments at the end. Overall, it was interesting to fill out.

Quite true, but if you don't mind PDF/JPGs, pick up one of the GD-Rom collections. Ver. 3 has, I believe, Everything that's been printed up through Vol. 2 #125 (Only 4 issues off current). And that's only $40.95 off Antarctic's store. I've got Ver. 1 (Everything Canon through Vol. 2 #75) and updated w/a friends Ver. 2 (Through Vol. 2 #100).

IMO, it would be worth it. Not to say I wouldn't mind the physical Trades either, but if no other option remains, it should be something to consider.

I'm guessing the BBC must of not liked it or something. Shame really. It was a wonderful piece of fan work.

Perhaps a "points" system can be implemented on top of GM con system - more points for people at your level, none for those substantially below. Beyond restating Bill's post, it's not worth it.

For example, I personally don't PVP. I tend to avoid it when I can. If a current server was converted in the manor of your OP and I had Characters (let alone a SG), I'd damn well want free slot and transfer vouchers to get those characters off of that server. I'd also be abusing CS to get my SG base moved as well (I know that's unlikely, but...).

I think you'll find more distaste for PVP than not if the Devs tried that.

  10. While I'm not too familiar with Trigun, from what I do know, this film looks to be a side-story type film. So I'm not sure if it considered The Movie or a Non-Serial Movie (Tropes links, you have been warned...).

Also here's the ANN page for the film. VA listings at the bottom.

About Bloody time he finished up with that.

Gotta say though, that rocked! Nice that he nodded to the Brigadier & Sara Jane in the credits.

  13. Brilliant! Just Brilliant!!

Both in Steelclaw's post, but in Silvers as well.

And dear lord... this is the 100th Steelclaw started post I've subscribed to (Yes, I have a separate sub folder for Steelclaw's stuff...). I'm not if this is a good thing or not.

  14. Right now, 382.

But at least 1/5 of that are AE Custom Critter Costumes.

Because it's on wikipedia, it must be true.

No, this is not a biopic. This is an abomination that the Farrellys are going to fill with poop and fart jokes (because, you know, The Three Stooges were all about poop and fart jokes).

There was an excellent (albeit too short) biopic that Mel Gibson produced a few years ago. Michael Chiklis portrayed Curly. They got a few of the details wrong here and there, but overall it gave an idea as to who the Stooges were, how they rose to fame, fell when the studio stopped making short subjects, and got shafted by the studios when their popularity soared again in the TV era.
I believe VG posted the Wikipedia link and the initial quote to validate her belief that the this film was gonna be a biopic. Which is proven wrong further in the first paragraph of that section, quoted below:

"The Farrellys, who have wanted to make this film since 1996, have said that they were not going to do a biopic or remake, but instead new Three Stooges episodes set in the present day. The plot of the episodes is said to be an adventure that revolves around the Stooges characters.[30]"

As to the Biopic mentioned, I agree it was actually good.

Our EU Community is invited to join us at 20.00 CEST/7:00 PM BST to put the Keyes Island Reactor through its paces. We'll be testing with the North American Community starting at 8:00 PM EDT/5:00 PM PDT.

What's Keyes Island Reactor? What's an Incarnate Trial? Well, read below!
Keyes Island Reactor, located in Neutropolis, is the defining achievement of Anti-Matter's life. This sprawling complex is the source of Praetoria's power and is instrumental in keeping the city safe, providing all of the power for the city's protective Sonic Fences. It is the manufacturing site for portable generators which power the Clockwork and for many other amazing technologies. However, most critically for the Emperor's plans, the reactors are the source of power needed to fuel the portals used to send armies to Primal Earth.

The Keyes Island Reactor is an Incarnate Trial -- content meant to be a challenge for those who have reached level 50 and are interested in continuing their advancement as an Incarnate. Those who have not unlocked the Alpha Slot can do so here. Those who have unlocked their Alpha Slot, however, will be able to earn Incarnate XP for all four Incarnate slots introduced in Issue 20.

If you have not yet connected to the City of Heroes Beta server, you can learn how to do so here.

We look forward to seeing you!
And just remember, It's on BETA, not Test.

Agree fully there. +1 from me as well.

Been meaning to track down that and the two follow up seasons as well. Got the Mangas of all three, just don't have the Anime.

Will also +1 Rideback as well.

  19. Now to start with, I'm not into MLP:FiM all that much. Caught a couple of bits and it's not bad.

    Now then...

Saw this as I was checking a couple of DA sites I look into now and then. This piece was Faved by one of them.

    Today on Mythbusters: Ponies

I'd rather link it, cause I think this just might screw up the forums. And I like Jamie's Reaction in the last panel.

The question is not whether it can/can't be done - it most certainly can be done - but the original question is: How?

I think there's been some amazing suggestions in this thread which gives food for thought. The likelihood of CoH going to free to play? Your guess is as good as mine, but I don't expect it any time soon.
Oh, that's simple. Look at the F2P level of the direct competition. When a thread was made about that going F2P initially, I commented that it was basically a watered down version of CoX. I still believe that holds true.

And it's not like NCSoft couldn't use a similar points store either. Anyone remember Exteel? It had a MTS and you could convert time cards into NCcoin. And see how well that worked...

While it's possible, I truly don't believe it is in NCSoft/Paragon Studios better interest to go the F2P route.

    THank you for the time...

  23. While I'm not too entirely thrilled with the concept, what comics that were going to be used, according to the vid, were not in the best overall condition to begin with. If that qualifier was going to be used, then fine. At least some of the art is being preserved and the better condition copies of those issues might be worth more to a collector. Who knows...

At this moment and time, I would say your OP is a little over reactive.

Would I actually purchase any of these cards? I highly doubt it. It is a novel concept, though.

  24. Oh Lordy...

Now that is a trailer. Enough to give mythos background and some quick teasers. If I can, that is a day one showing now.

Also liked the quad gun creation.

  25. Now don't get me wrong, Titanic is a good movie and all.
The only good areas where the 3D would even be worth the use in is when the Ship's going down.

Though doesn't most tact-in 3D stuff darken the overall color of the film? And the ship sank at night? Not gonna go well at all I think...
