  1. Interesting...

Wonder if David did that piece or not. He mentioned in a new bit on DA that he was doing CoHF stuff in a new style. Looks like Marketing did some hacking to it for sure...

    Thank you for the time...
  2. Yep, been watching while doing stuff about the house today.
Even the GF & I were just discussing about the way the new series seems to be coming about. Artwork hold up all right, but some of the stories... a little hard to deal with in my "old age". Still fun to watch though.

    Thank you for the time...
  3. Did you notice that $30 was for the limited pre-made figs.

To do a Figurine was $130 and a Bust $70.

Not to say it wouldn't be a bad idea, but think of the legal hoops this company had to do to get Licensed permission from Activision/Blizzard for that. Do you honesty think NCSoft would be willing to license that?

    Thank you for the time...
  4. Well someone must of liked seeing Yoko from Gurren Lagann.

Someone submitted a pic to ANN and got it posted. Very nice indeed.

    Voltron Force

Not 100% sure I like this new show.

Seen a couple of eps. Overall: eh...

Though the ep that ran Friday (caught the tail end of the repeat Sunday morning) has a new twist: The Main body can be any of the Lions. For Example: As the Lions were about to form Voltron to take on the Monster of the Week, a change occurred to put Yellow Lion as the Body (with two Chain Maces in place of the Sword) to get the MotW in to a state where they could then switch back to normal config to finish it off.

I don't know if it's the overall art design, the Speed Racer: Next Gen animation look, or just the overall story concept that has me not to enthused about this show. Then again, maybe I'm getting a little too critical in my 'old age'...

    Thank you for the time...

Oh Futurias, Fate actually showed that form off in the end of A's (ep. 11, IIRC)

Now if there was a change in Nova into a TAoE instead of PBAoE...

    X-Futurama-Men!

Mom's Boys are in Hellions costumes. Would make sense since Mom is being portrayed as the White Queen.

I think there's another Orphan in the tube done as Jubilee
    Off on the above.

Sevenpenny got Robot Devil right for Mr. Sinister.
    Roberto is Pyro (Brotherhood member)
Leela is Jean Grey/'good' Phoenix. Rogue is seen in the area the Character portraying Blob is (Lady in the Green & while outfit. Rogue's original costume)
Morbo is Omega Red (Jim Lee era X-Vill)
Magik & Warlock you got, the other Orphans are Magma, Wolfsbane, and Sunspot (New Mutants)
    It's Sunfire

  9. My personal Favorites:

Mr. Bocor's Arc "The Book and the Burning". Actually I like everything About Mr. Bocor. Yes, he treats you like a lacky, not really a equal, but yet there are times where he's very true about the world (i.e. the Mission accept for defeating Sea Witch).

Peter Themari's Arc "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge". Think of this as a precursor to the Morality arcs we have now. Then again, I like Themari (The Pet Shop Boys "Opportunities" seems to earwig running his stuff).

Seer Marino's "Oh Wretched Man". Hands down, the best Under 20 Arc in the Game, IMHO.

Also a Nod to Primal and Prea Yin's Arcs. Prea Yin's especially. Just the whimsy in the other persona she has had to create. Then when you think about what that is doing to her...

Actually running the whole loyalist Responsibility Arc Undercover and adding in Scott's commentary when you call him. Really makes you think about stuff at times.

I also like Seer 1381's Arcs. Really get's a feel for what is really wrong in Preatoria.

Tunnel Rat's Arc is good to. Mainly just her way of talking is what is nice about it.

I also like running Marshal Brass' Arcs. It would be nice to see the Morality Tech reworked somehow into "The Aeon Conspiracy".

    Thank you for the time...
  10. Welcome to the Forums.

Most of the Advise given is solid enough, but a couple of other things:

What Server(s) are you playing on? Some servers tend to not be as populated as others.

You also might wish to look in the Defender Forums as well.

Also to mention again Paragonwiki is you friend.

    Thank you for the time...
  11. Noticed it w/the GF last night.

It didn't matter if it was a Zone or a Instance, her Character would appear as if it wasn't in the same Zone or Instance as me. Only times her Character would resync in the Team display (using Classic display) was either upon a Mission Complete or after being tagged by a Mystic Fortune. Very staragne indeed.

    Thank you for the time...
  12. Res...

Look here first. Michelle has a thread announcing her teaser.

As to your other question, Her video archive site has a vid from when she hosted a panel at the 2008 Herocon.

Will I be able to trade these in for Paragon Points the way you could NCcoin back in the day (Example: 30 day Game Card cost $20 = 1600 Paragon Points or 60 day Time Card cost $30 = 2400 Paragon Points), or will I be required to use them to add time to my subscription?

I would guess at this point that they might do something similar to what was done when Exteel was running: Allow NCSoft time card conversion to Points (NCcoin in Exteel/Paragon Points in City).

What would happen was extra options at the code application point of adding in the time card. Instead of seeing just the options to add time to whatever NCSoft Games you had a sub on, you would also see an option to convert to NCcoin for the equivalent amount. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was roughly a $1 = 100 NCcoin rate. So if the conversion would be the same to Paragon Points, the conversions could go like this:

    30-day card ($15.00 US) = 1200 PP
    60-day card ($30.00 US) = 2400 PP

That's not bad,IMHO. But keep in mind this is just from what I remember of playing Exteel and that I generally use Time Cards for keeping my City sub active.

As to the cards you currently have, I'd use the 30-day card and one of the 60-day cards at least. Remember that the 30-day one you have has the Temp jet pack that will be good on all your Characters for a month.

    Thank you for the time...

Actually it should. B:MotP is a rarity: A US produced animated Superhero film. It has a solid story and a way for those who weren't familiar with Batman:TAS to experience that take on the Batman Mythos.

And for Acemace, Just how many Animated, Theatrical, Superhero genre films are there? Not that many, I believe. So it is well worth including the two animated films that are on that list, epically The Incredibles. It not only deconstructs the Superhero genre, but then gives a rebirth, of sorts, to the Supers community in that particular world. It is a fun and enjoyable film.

Also since several others have given their views on the list, here's mine:

    10 - Unbreakable
    9 - THe Rocketeer
8 - Batman: Mask of the Phantasam
    7 - Hellboy
    6 - Iron Man
    5 - Superman II
    4 - Watchmen
    3 - Spider-man 2
    2 - The Dark Knight
    1 - The Incredibles

    Honorable Mention:
    Batman (1989)
    Batman Begins
    X-Men

Oh, and here's the list so you don't have to go to a different ******* page for each item (hate when sites do that).

    10. Iron Man
    9. Watchmen
    8. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
    7. The Rocketeer
    6. Blade II
    5. Superman II
    4. Unbreakable
    3. Spider-Man 2
    2. The Dark Knight
    1. The Incredibles
I can see why Superman II is on that list. While the whole 'lose powers to go any marry the one you love' angle is lame, the film covered everything you would want to see in a Superman film.

And honestly, if a X-men film made that list, I'd put the first one in there.

    Thank you for the time...
  20. Umm... Ms. M, looks like you misread that article.

    From the LA Times article:
    Quote:
“Our first arc actually is the origin of the team, so it takes place in the past, and the next arc will take place in the present,” he said. “One thing I was really interested in was how do these guys really get along? Like Green Lantern when he first meets Batman, he’s like, ‘So what are your powers?’ Because you’d assume if this guy is dressed up like a bat fighting bad guys, that he can’t be crazy, that he’s got to have powers. And so Jim and I talked a lot about what their first opinion would be of each other. Like if Green Lantern’s on Earth to patrol to search for extraterrestrial trouble, what’s he think of Superman?” - Geoff Johns
And from the way the article read, to me, is that the main story in Action Comics and in JLA are gonna be a flashback type stories, so I imagine we'll have a Time Skip in those titles as well.

All I'll say to that, is the editorial heads better have everything planned just right, or otherwise it's gonna be an absolute mess.

    Thank you for the time...
  21. I don't have a problem with Watchmen being on the list. Overall it is a solid adaptation and should included. Considering the choice at #4, I can understand why it was included, but not as high up on the list as it was.

I can also see why Rocketeer it was included. I also happen to like that film and it deserves a little more credit than it has. But to be #7 on that list? No.

I was actually bummed that IM 1 was so low on that list. I don't feel it was a top 5 film for that list, but still deserving better than #10.

As to the top 3 and their order, no arguments from me on it.

    Thank you for the time...
  22. The link in your OP worked for me.
As it did off the City(US) main page.

  23. Noticed a link to this article while looking at Rotten Tomatoes listing of the GL film. Done up about 2 weeks ago, the author comes up with a list of the top 10 Supers Films.

I'll admit the overall list is a solid, and in a couple of cases surprising, offering of what the genre has to offer. Not 100% sure of a couple of them, but the list covers the overall scope of Supreheroes.

    Personally, I'd flip #10 & #7 and I'd Flip #4 & #9, in that order.

    Thank you for the time...
  24. You mean this?

I know it's been around for a good long time. It's a nice tid bit along with the random Civie making mention of a mission or task you recently did.

    Whoa there Major....

Liefeld is doing a DC book, but it ain't the Titans. It's Hawk & Dove.

Bret Booth & Norm Rapmund have the Art duties on Titans.

As to overall looks, they seem to be ok, but yesh...
