  1. Heroes - visit the Supergroup Registrar in either Galaxy or Atlas inside the starting building

Villains - visit the SG rep in the Marconeville Arachnos building which is 100 yards west of the Marconeville marker in Port Oakes
  2. It seems to be certain Soldier attacks that don't draw the weapon out if it's stored/undrawn.

Seems to be Web Grenade and Burst which don't draw it
  3. I was looking up the pages for the Fusion Generator and Dimensional Vortex and I'm looking for the footprint that each of them leaves or what size room they fit in.

I'd say a tanks inherent IS good solo as you tend not to get the runners. It's not just about them hitting you, it's about keeping them hitting you. I can't tell you how many times I see enemies run on other ATs and begins a ludicrous chase across half the map just because they finally consider me a threat. On my tank I can just hit taunt and they come running back and as long as I keep attacking they are kept drawn to me.

The defender inherent is a very team-oriented one. I'd like to think that maybe it could be based on the strength of your team as opposed to the state of their health but I haven't really thought about it much.
  5. [ QUOTE ]
Oh well I hope one day this will happen . . .

[/ QUOTE ]Powerset Proliferation - to paraphrase the many dev quotes "Every AT that uses the same type of powerset will have those powers proliferated to all the other".

It will happen along with Radiation Blast... eventually.
  6. [ QUOTE ]
Better just get rid of it.

[/ QUOTE ]Enough said about base upkeep, full stop.

I find my Dominator is the hardest to play but I blame a few things because of it: He was below SO level, he was my first, he grates so hard on me that when my MM overtook him long ago I realised he just wasn't fun. Since then I've dropped mission after mission or joined an occasional team with him and he's now finally sitting at 22.

The biggest hitch I find is not with the ATs as I've just started a plant/thorn Dom and she's a lot of fun. To me the biggest hitch is the combinations we choose as well can make a decidedly huge influence.

I tried a Dark/Regen scrapper but she's sitting at 10; my Spines/Dark dinged 50 a couple of weeks ago and he was made after she was.

My Mind/FF main Controller was such a chore to ding 50 that he put me off trying controllers again until a well-crafted firekin build landed on my lap and she dinged 50 in a fraction of the time.

So for me it's not necessarily the AT but the powerset choices that I make with it.

And the list of frequently suggested suggestions gets longer.

[/ QUOTE ]We do need (read: would like) a few more back details. I'd enjoy having the raptor pack available as a costume piece so that I could take fly and not worry about it running out.

I still have the Goldbricker on my MM and it very shiny. Worth Ouroborosing to get it again.
  9. After I had run out of slots (before slot purchasing) a SG friend started in Outbreak and I couldn't go help them as I was too sentimental to delete a toon no matter how low it was.

I then hit on the idea of creating a character who would stay in Outbreak so that if someone needed help, I could log in and blast through the Contaminated.

When Dual Blades was on test I created a DB/Willpower scrapper and promptly forgot about her so when the level bump came about I ended up having a lv36 scrapper in Outbreak which was fun as I managed to scrap my way through the Contaminated at record speed.

Why is this relevant? My concept character is now at level 5 on the LIVE server thanks to the level pact system. This means that as long as I get the character I pact'd her with to 50 I will eventually have a level 50 in Outbreak. It also means that as she stands now she can make use of the Pocket D and base teleport powers which breaks the contact line.

I petitioned it to see if was considered cheating or an exploit but I was told by a senior GM that currently it's "working as intended".

    So what's everyone else's thoughts?
  10. [ QUOTE ]
As you are aware the epic archetypes have much more powers and therefore many more ways to play them than the normal archetypes.
I was wondering about the possibility of having an extra build for these archetypes because there are so many ways to play them.
i have spoke to other players who have all said they think it is a good idea
    any chance of it happening?

[/ QUOTE ]Dual builds exists currently so the same character can have more than one build and from the looks of the selection screen there's a lot of extra space for potentially more in the future.
  11. [ QUOTE ]
For a moment there was surprise on Edwards face as he took the bullet to the chest with a grunt, the second caused him to the head caused him to slump to the ground, a thought passing through his mind before the blackness consumed him.

    "Never trust a vigilante..."

With that everything went dark before he hit the ground.

[/ QUOTE ] Benedict Plaza, Basement level.

Cassandra could only watch as Edward's still body lay on what she assumed to be an operating table. William stood by her as he watched his cyborg, Lucky Kitty step up to the securely bound Dr. Mechano. Her H.U.D. drew across her head displaying a map of Ed's brain as she brought her neural re-sequencer into the small, exposed gap and began sewing his neurons back together. The rest of Ed's body was being attended to by various other mechanisms that carefully removed the bullets and repaired the damage with surprising speed. Lucky stared through the image and repaired a specific set of neurons.

    "Wake up, Doc!"
  12. [ QUOTE ]
Quite sure. The arc you refer is there in the 1-15 bracket. As for the unlockable ones, as long as you collect the relevant badge that opens the contact*, the arc(s) will be available via Flashback.

    * even if you acquire the badge after you've outlevelled the contact.

[/ QUOTE ]I can confirm this after getting the badge to unlock the Slot Machine and the Ghost badge to unlock the Port Oakes Arachnos contact.

Back on the topic, I'd prefer a double debt key I could click to make it harder to gain xp as I'd have more debt to pay off.
  13. Many happy returns and thanks for helping my scrapper ding 49 and your power expertise, amongst other things.
  14. Cassandra held up the stopwatch as it read ten seconds as Infinitron's speech finished.

"He just wants a word. Pocket D, 8pm down the bottom of the monkey cage. You'll get the right day on your own."

She opened a portal and stepped through just as the stopwatch beeped on hitting zero, the portal collapsing into nothing as it went through.
  15. Cassandra waited on the roof of Infinicorp building, the sun had set a good long while ago. She held up a stop watch, smirking as it counted down a number of seconds. She waited, patiently.

    Cimeroran Bases

    /signed

Base items (Cimeroran and otherwise) are always welcome!

[/ QUOTE ]Agreed. /signed as well
  17. [ QUOTE ]
"Ah where to go from here...really should think more than one plan at a time..." he chuckled as he teleported to his new lab.

[/ QUOTE ]Cassandra smiled happily as she watched Ed step into his new lab. She lept off her crate and gave him a hug, kissing him.

"I missed you, although it's probably only been a few hours for you. Anyway, I brought you a present."

She walked back to her crate and tore off the lid, letting the box fall apart showing a Crey Corp magnetic accelerator.

"Thought it might be useful ... or fun at least"
  18. [ QUOTE ]
Edward smiled, "let's see if I can get in contact with this Infinitron first...he may be a worthy ally..."

[/ QUOTE ] Cassandra placed her hands on Edward's shoulders, kneading her fingers in as she massaged them and leaning over his shoulder to glance at his plans. She smiled, kissing his cheek.

"Let me take care of that, daddy"

She opened a portal and stepped into it, vanishing into its void as collapsed.

    [ QUOTE ]
Red sky at night, Sheperds delight, Red sky at morning, Hellions warning...
The Hellion stuffed the rag into the bottle and lit it. Winding back his arm to hurl the molotov cocktail in through the window; he was understandably surprised with the fact it shattered and exploded at the peak of its arc above his head. Covering him in the flammable liquid which promptly did what it was desgned to do - combust.
Screaming and writhing around in pain, the others around him turned in panic. His screaming stopped abruptly as another shot rang out tearing through his cerebrum.
The others began to run; but they could not run fast or far enough. One by one they fell; one shot, one kill.
The last one, backed into an alley, crouched down, he cried for mercy. As the figure of Infinitron shimmered into view and raised his rifle, he merely shook his head and took the shot.
Before the body had even slumped to the floor, Infinitron was gone.

The guards at the Perez Park hazard gate were knocked over by a sudden gust that ripped past them. Looking at each other puzzled, they shrugged and got back to their feet.

[/ QUOTE ]Cassandra watched the killer at work, clutching a police report detailed the probable sequence of events that led up to finding the bodies. She smiled as she read the report, thinking how closely the forensics had been into the order of death and exactly what had killed them. As she caught a glimpse of her target, speeding away, she snapped his aura in her mind and closed the report, post-dated from today.

"Now to see about a meeting..."

She opened a portal behind her and stepped back, vanishing into it.

The team search could do with some more tools for team-based searching (both by unteamed players LFT and by team leaders who want to advertise LFM).

[/ QUOTE ]Lest we forget the ever-present "On a TF, unable to join/recruit". It would be nice if those players were auto-hidden or there was an indicator for them being on a TF.

And team leaders - it would be nice to be able to contact a team leader as opposed to anyone and finding out they were a member.

    This is madness!

[/ QUOTE ]Madness? THIS.. IS.. PARAGON!!! (Had to be done )

Tyger was at 525 badges when I last updated my CIT list (And that list is already out of date as it doesn't include at least 3 more badges I've gained since then, the Romulus defeat badge and several safeguard ones plus event and day job badges)
  21. [ QUOTE ]
How about a possible 'on/off' switch, that turns items from 'accessible' to 'aesthetic'? Rather than doubling up the number of items available, whilst all looking the same?

[/ QUOTE ]Ooo, I do like that idea but there's still the room and map limit on storage items (although that could change).

I could live with an on/off switch though
  22. [ QUOTE ]
    /unsigned

Given that bases are now exceedingly *cheap* compared to their previous prices (which were still affordable), the racks aren't going to cost you much.

On the flipside, depending how many you required in one room, I can see how the 'limit on storage items' might hamper your decoration.

I'm all one for more decoration to flesh out bases (it's been a LONG time since we've seen anything new) - but I'm not sure that the OP is a good suggestion.

[/ QUOTE ]I'd rather the racks didn't cost me anything at all but the rent change forces me to consider alternatives. The initial cost is not the problem, the rent is.

However, you've kinda got it in that I don't want them functional:

    [ QUOTE ]
Signed, many of the functional items would be nice as non-functional fluff.

    [/ QUOTE ]^^This.

I don't want racks to store things in, I just want the model to be available as decoration, flesh out the workshop. As said, the model already exists and it's not as if they are raid targets anyway.
  23. Title says it simply so I'll expand - I'd like to be able to have things like salvage racks, power generators, databases/bookcases, invention tables and the like (the energy/control objects) as decorative items.

Main reason is I'd like to be able to make a decorative storage room without the exorbitant prestige cost.
  24. [ QUOTE ]
Could be made also a base teleport beacon.

[/ QUOTE ]I suggest making the Advanced Telepad able to port into PvP zones, marked by having a more secure look to it
  25. [ QUOTE ]
Ctrl-Alt-Del is certainly good at stirring up controversy though. I'll admit I read it through the miscarriage arc just to see how badly Buckley would tank the whole storyline.

[/ QUOTE ]What I couldn't believe is that he'd already planned that particular story for two years.

I found it mildly amusing at first but things like VGCats were often better at the same jokes. And Wintereenmas I never really got (the principal, not the spirit).

    Yahtzee sums it up better.
