No, they're selling a weapon set for 800 pts with several skins already included (About as many as come standard with any weapon power set)...then there's a pack of even more skins. lrn2read?

Just out of curiosity, what the hell were you testing that you couldn't have found out just by hitting "Preview post"?

Quote:That would require having the authority to wield said whip. I'm pretty sure Zwill doesn't.At this point, this is exactly what is needed.
If I hear one more mealy-mouthed platitude, about why it SHOULD be fixed but ISN'T I shall grow...irritable.
Zwill, at this point, stop wasting energy apologizing and crack the damn whip on the web guys already.
Apologies don't fix a damn thing. FIXING STUFF fixes it. -
Quote:Honestly, I'd rather them put a troll on ignore than waste their time trying to explain themselves to said troll. The day customer service employees start putting paying customers on ignore for ANY reason other than abusive behaviour, is the day I no longer associate with that company or any subsidiaries.
This is not an action someone like Zwil would ever consider doing. -
I'm sure if the solution were that simple, it would've been done years ago.

Wasn't really referring to the size of the weapon models. Just the way it worked. Dunno, that's the best description that comes to mind.

Quote:Every now and then, prices on very common salvage will spike briefly without any apparent rhyme or reason. It generally doesn't stay like that for even a full day, though.Did someone flip the market or is it always like this? I noticed a lot of the low level salvage is currently EXTREMELY high:
Clockwinders -- 250,00 per
Spell Scrolls -- 55,000 - 250k
Ancient Artifacts -- 1.1 million...
The amount of items on AH for these is also very low like less then 10...
Edit: Winders are going for over 2 million.. -
Quote:My test run with the set didn't really impress me at all. The size of the weapons was far less on the "silly" side than I'd expected and it just felt...well, cumbersome.I'm also somewhat inclined to wait for Titan Weapons to go on sale, simply because right now I only have one toon that would use the set, and it isn't even an alt I would play very often (it would be a re-rolled version of an existing alt that would have had a TW sword had the power set been available to me when I originally made her).

I'd say this is mostly a text bug. Considering you enter the tutorial as neither a hero nor a villain, it may be intentional that you can't invite someone to an SG until they're out as that is side-specific. Yes, they choose a side early on, but it may not be "official" until they exit the tutorial.

Only if the farm is openly abusing one exploit or another. For example, the old bubble farms that were tons of xp at absolutely no risk at all due to the mitos not fighting back.

People still play Magic? Miss oldschool M:tG. From what I've seen, it just doesn't feel the same anymore. Can't find a good game 'round these parts anyway...or afford to get a new deck together that's any good, really.

Quote:Therein is the problem with an MMO, though - You can't make everyone the "main character" of massive word events like that, so nobody can be. Everyone would want to be the "main character", and those who aren't would get pissed over those who are.If the devs kill off the freedom phalanx, recluse, and recluse's lieutenants, allowed us to take over from them with desdemona/maelstrom as a right-hand, and then allow us to hire NPCs to form our own Freedom Phalanx / Villain Council - then us getting involved with stuff would make a lot more sense.
Emperor Cole is invading?
Hero version:
"Captain Hero! Now that the Freedom Phalanx are gone you're our only hope! Please help us! What do we do?"
Villain version:
"Dr. Villain! My lord! Since you took over Arachnos and the Rogue Isles all has been well. But now Emperor Cole is threatening to invade your empire. What would you have us do?"
Same result: get everyone together and kick his ***.
The difference? We'd be the main characters. The storylines would fit our characters. And the potential for sandbox creativity would be of proportions astronomically more wonderful than "sup a magic well makes you good at shooting". -
Quote:I'd still be wary. Feedback's easy to pad, and boxes are easy to re-seal.It was a power seller with 100% positive feedback selling multiple retail "new and sealed" copies, and the game box arrived new and sealed. I have yet to apply the code (time card expiring mid-December, going on vacation end of December, so will wait till January to start a new month). Either I'm wise and thrifty or I've played into a very tricky archvillain's evil scheme!

Quote:Off eBay's always chancy. Have you tried applying the code and been successful yet? If so, I'd say you got lucky... "New" on eBay doesn't always mean new....I am following Architect Edition on eBay, too. The Magic Pack looks fun. I was able to get "Rogue" for $6.69, new on eBayit's since gone up to $9.98 from the same seller, so I may take my immense savings and use it to justify splurging on the Ninja Pack when it goes on sale Friday.

I honestly don't see how the level 1-49 content is any less enjoyable than the 50 content. It's essentially the same.
-
Might not be that obvious to everyone. Glad you can't, because it was completely obnoxious when people would do that back when you could. No matter how obvious you think it was now that you have the answer, you did have to ask, which means others might need the answer too.

Quote:When their "preference" takes them to the point of violating TOS and the law to pay someone else to play the game for them to bypass the first 49 levels of it, then, frankly, yeah, this IS the fact of the matter. I've been around enough MMO communities to have seen plenty of people who don't even bother trying the pre-endgame game of an MMO. They find the first opportunity they can to get powered through it. They remain obsessed with getting to the level cap and don't bother giving it a chance. This stems mainly from an over-competitive nature. "I want the biggest numbers and best raid gear, and I can't get that 'til the endgame!" While there's nothing wrong with wanting a powerful character, when you're so obsessed with it that you're "fast forwarding" past the rest of the game, then you're missing the point. It's like using the level skip cheats in DooM ( yeah, calling up a classic there. Not sure Id classify a person's preferences as a 'fallacy' and Id venture to say that your opinion of the matter is a little dramatized. Some people spend hours working on SG bases, while others devote time to farming. Some enjoy playing stock broker on the market and others show great pride in collecting displaying badges. With the multitude of different aspects the game presents to players, why is it a strange concept to understand that some enjoy higher level TFs (where the majority of powers are available)/PvP and etc which many times utilize end game builds?
Your statement seems very black and white and sorta, "this is the fact of the matter" as opposed to recognizing people have different preferences. If I miscategorized your viewpoint, I apologize.) to get to the endboss without ever playing the rest.
In short, this "the game doesn't start until the level cap" isn't simply "a person's preference". In nearly all cases, it's a person's ignorance. -
Because some people are captivated with the fallacy that the game begins at the level cap. Frankly, I don't believe this is true in most MMOs. Even the great behemoth that shall not be named. But, there are a lot of people who think the "raids" in an MMO are the whole game and the rest is just put there as an annoying obstacle to trod through before you can start them.

Quote:Well, yeah, that's kinda my point. Petitioning on top of "ignore spammer"ing them effectively only adds clutter to the GM queue. Just stick with the ignore spammer and get on with your day. There's never going to be an effective solution other than eliminating Free accounts ability to use chat channels which would be insane, and banning people stupid enough to admit they use those services.
