And, yet. SG finds runs with his requirements that are a clear step down the road toward it... I'd say the evidence counters what you say here quite well.

Quote:Uhh, whatever. When you get over this delusion that the matter is black and white, get back to me. Until then, I see no need to engage in a battle of wits with a foe who refuses to arm himself ( and I know you're capable of it ).Actually, it does mean that I don't meet the description. For me to meet the description, I have to meet all the description.
Quote:No, just you at this point. I treat people with equal respect to the respect that they treat me with.
Quote:In your case, I'm actually treating you better than you are treating me.
...what, you're serious? You think the above is true?
......
Okay, now I'm just depressed. Maybe I was wrong before about your capability of arming yourself.
I'm so sorry you can't handle being told that you're being elitist ( which is damn true. Setting unnecessarily high tier requirements and patronizing anyone who doesn't like it is textbook elitist behavior, period ). However, every reply you've made to me thus far has only reinforced that assessment of you. See, the self-delusion that you're somehow the exception to the "elitist" template is another big red-flag elitist characteristic.....
Note that I said this elitist behavior doesn't make you a bad person and that you have every right to set whatever requirements you want. No, what makes you a "bad person" is the knee-jerk patronizing of everyone who dares disagree with you. -
Quote:Steps down the road.If I wanted to bring the WoW mentality to this game I'd demand that each player to bring a specific Archetype, level shift, and specific Incarnate powers.
Quote:As to your other post, I'm not requiring "top tier requirements. If I was, I'd ask everyone to bring fully Tier 4'd characters to all incarnate trials.
Quote:So put a sock in it. -
Quote:Funny, sounds exactly like elitism to anyone who's not flat-out deluding themselves....It's not elitism to not want your playtime wasted. Full stop. PERIOD.
Top-teir requirements? CHECK!
Patronizing those who don't meet said requirements? CHECK!
Belittling anyone who doesn't like said requirements? CHECK!
Yup. Elitism by the book.
Mind you, I'm not saying it makes him automatically a bad person. Nor am I saying it isn't very much his right to set those standards. However, let's be honest about what it is. -
-
No, you don't know that. Several people having old/incompatible drivers might all crash. That's still you. And them. I'm not saying that's what's going on, but lots of people having the problem doesn't automatically make it "not you".

That would be a gelatinous cube. Or is that just wishful thinking?

^ This. Considering how wildly differently some powersets play even within the same AT, it would be downright stupid of them to allow powerset changing like that. But, with how quick leveling is in this game, it's no big deal anyway.
-
MM sets in general are far more work intensive than other ATs' sets, BM even more so since it's making use of a whole new rig.
-
Quote:So, you like having to pay for everything, whether you're going to use it or not?I hate it.
Not that they are charging for powersets, that's fine. They can do what they want. But I loathe the hybrid subscription/microtransaction payment model. If there was a 30 bucks/month subscription you could get and never have to know there was a Paragon Market, I'd jump at the opportunity. -
Yep, perfectly fine. Especially considering the amount of coding work that was needed for this one in particular. And the rate at which we're getting new power sets these days as a result of some being for purchase only is well worth it.
-
Not surprised. Just feel the need to state the obvious in the hopes that it'll sink through a skull or two someday. Wild fantasy, I know, but we gotta hold onto something, right?
-
Quote:MM primaries are FAR more work-intensive to develop than any other ATs' powersets. Also consider that Beast Mastery uses the new 4-legged rigs and is probably the main reason they were developed in the first place, the vanity pets and coyote run being just a way to pad the development expense while they finished up BM.Trust me, I think it is odd too considering only one archetype can use it...
Okay. "No additional charge above what you're already paying".
Wow, that was easy. Next stupid question? -
-
Quote:No and no, it does not. I'm sorry, but getting all huffy because of baseless assumptions you made is just outright idiotic.Except it was stated as an excuse for why Doms weren't getting anything while everyone else was, which does imply something special for them and only them. Otherwise it simply fails as a justification.

Since when did Redside have to wait 20-25 more levels for Midnighter access?
