I do not know. Would be nice to have it for my second account.

The other prestige sprints use the regular sprint animation with various visual effects. You'll most likely still be in the Ninja Run animation with visual effects added. Using the other prestige sprints that is.

I only have a couple of characters that use Power Slide instead of Sprint. That because of thematic reasons. I'm really liking power color customization. Because I have an Electric/Shield Scrapper with power colors that match Prestige Power Slide's non-customizable color.

It has also been established, by nearly unanimous opinion, that the Crusaders are Villains too. I seriously wouldn't lump them and their practices in the same category as the Wardens.

I see both sides of the Loyalists as shades of gray.
and either side of the Resistance as black and white.

Logically, I can see reasons for most things that the Responsibility side of the Loyalists do. I don't really agree with their morality in most cases though.

    Ninja Run??

    Just tossing this out there...

The Prestige Power Slide animation will override the Ninja Run animation.
  4. according to the patch notes for Issue 18:

    Quote:
When a Supergroup leader tries to switch sides, a popup appears telling them the consequences of the alignment shift, which is that they will be removed from their leader rank if they switch their alignment to the opposing side.
    • If they do switch alignment all the way to polar opposite of the SG, leadership will pass to the next highest ranking/senior member of the SG.
    Bolded the pertinent part.
not having seen this happen yet, I would assume (dirty word, I know) that, immediately, the red star would pass to the next highest ranking person in the SG. Whether they were online or not. That's just me and my crazy thinking process though.

However, things might have changed with int the last couple of patch notes.

I think he was referring to Upstart, not Bile, with that last part.

Otherwise, he made an uppercase U in upstart by accident.

OMG, the movie was such an unfaithful tramp!!!

And I remember playing that board game with my brother.

A smidgen faster, actually. Somewhere around .5 mph faster if I recall the approximate difference. That's at level 22. (or was it 21.) It varies by level.

I agree that there shouldn't be forced team content from regular contacts. (ie: simultaneous clickies.) Despite the fact that this is an MMO. Some of us do not care to team with just any Joe (or Jane) that happens to come by. Sometimes, those that we would team with aren't available. Personally, I seriously dislike PuGs. I will, on occasion, join a PuG. Usually, when I'm feeling masochistic. Simultaneous clicky missions are a roadblock to my solo gaming experience. just as much as morality missions are roadblocks to your team gaming experience.

If you wish to do away with forced solo content. Then do away with the forced teaming content (from regular contacts) as well. It's as simple as that.

Sorry to tell you this. The Updater has its limitations. It can't fix hardware problems, or software problems unrelated to the CoH/V/GR software itself.

Obviously, according to Wiggz, DrMike2000 is one of the many no ones.

My suggestion to you, Wiggz, would be to refrain from using absolutes.

People do use Team TP, and Group Fly. They would also be highly irritated if those powers were to disappear.

In addition, if the "problem" is the tier 4 powers, why are you wanting to add more tier 3 powers? I can already skip the prereqs for all the travel powers. I still need 2 of them in order to get the tier 4 powers though. You might think about that.
  17. Also, locate all 8 of the exploration badges in each of the non hazard, non PvP zones for 5 merits each zone.

Can only do that once per character though.

In ancient Latin (the time of Julius and Cicero), that ae was pronounced like eye (as in eyelid)

Over time, the Romance languages during the Middle Ages changed the pronunciation of the ae to something similar to ay (as in day, but more like a Spanish e as in Pepe). This is the Ecclesiastical pronunciation (the way the Catholic Church and most classical music choirs pronounce it).

However, in Merry Olde England, the ae became pronounced like ee (as in bee).

In the United States, unstressed vowels sound often get muted to a more guttural uh or eh or ih (the dreaded 'schwa e').

So, this explains the four different ways you've heard the first syllable of Praetoria:
    • Preye-toria is from those who know classical Latin (many doctors, lawyers, academics).
    • Pray-toria is from those who know Spanish, Italian, or Ecclesiastical Latin, or classical music.
    • Pree-toria is the preferred spelling in dictionaries since this is how it is most often pronounced in England.
    • And Preh-TAWR-ee-uh is from lazy English speakers who smooth over all unaccented vowels sounds to gutteral grunts. This make it awkward though, when they have to pronounce 'Praetor'... do they say 'PREH-tor' or 'PRUH-tor'? This pronunciation is definitely incorrect and should never be used. Use one of the first three pronunciations listed.

The second syllable controversy should not be one. In classical Latin, Ecclesiastical Latin, modern Romance languages, and in English, it should be a long O gliding into the R sound (grrrrr). Think of someone owes you money -- they are an ower of money. Now, take out the W sound and that's what OR should sound like.

Many English speakers, especially in the North East US, change the or sound to awr (as in if you are in awe of something, then you are an awer). There is a difference in sound between awer and ower, though for many native English speakers they can't hear the difference since their regional dialect doesn't make a distinction in they way they're pronounced.

Thus, you hear: Preh - TAWR - ee -uh from them instead of the correct, Pray - TOHR - ee - ah.

Since Caesar keeps coming up in this thread, it provides an interesting case study. In Ancient Latin, the C was pronounced as K, so they would say: KEYE - sahr. That pronounciation moved into the Germanic language (Holy Roman Empire, anyone?) and became the German Kaiser. You all remember Kaiser Wilhelm of WWI, right?

However, in the Romance languages, the C became a CH or an S in front of certain vowels and an S in English. The AE became EE in England leading to the pronunciation of Caesar as SEE - zer.

So, would you like a Kaiser roll with your Caesar salad? The two words are from the same source.
On occasion, I pronounce it Pray-uh-tor-ee-uh.
    Not sure why.

I guess just so I can add more Si-LAH-bles...

I did say I was speculating.
    I never saw the vids.
Really had no desire to see the vids either.
In fact, still haven't seen the vids.

I have seen many things that were called one thing when they resembled something else entirely. Never did figure them out either.
