This. It looks like the animations are "stuck" in the start position. For instance, when testing the ACCAHUD Combat Aura, I can see the beginnings of it behind my toon's head, but it's not animating. Nor are wings animating; once in a while, you see a flicker of where they usually start, but then they disappear.

Right now Beauty is less than one bar from lvl 10 - I am planning on taking recall friend, so I guess I could take it for my next power & try to pick up a low level stealth IO to achieve complete invisibility. She currently has SS, PFF & Assemble the Team.

BTW, on the "voice comm" option: I have a headset and use it regularly, but when I run late-night (past 10pm eastern) I go to listen-only mode to not wake the fiancée (I have a deep voice, and when I talk more than a whisper, it vibrates the walls - true story).

So, I don't care which team I'm on, I'll gladly listen in, and at least intro myself before going into listen mode. I type as fast as I talk anyway.

MB was kind enough to run this with IRON this past Sunday evening, and these were the two factors we failed to consider for the final room, villainside.

1. The stalker temp power may not be awarded correctly, but IMO it's not a deal breaker. It's far more fun to take on those insane 5th Column ambushes while the brute holds Reichsman's aggro.

2. The MM temp power not working IS something to take into account; it means that we'll need strong debuffs to swarm Reichsman all at once. Shivans are one solid way to do this, so if you haven't gotten your temp power for them, it's a good idea to have this in the pocket. My Spider has his AOE -res debuff, but a -regen would be helpful too, and stacking both would be lovely. -slow would also be nice to ameliorate his Phasing recharge.

The 2nd one is where IRON hit the wall: We'd get him to around 50%, see him go Phased, and he's healed back to 90%+ again. After about 30 minutes of continuous fighting, we gave up, and only read the bug notes after doing it.

Screw it. I'll be there both nights.

In defense of the Freedom RP crew here: I don't mind it unless you get into a.) Lestat-esque ERP; b.) start with the whole "no matter what you say, I'm benignly omnipotent" RP; or c.) use RP as a way of excusing coarse rudeness. RP =/= Anger Management.

Completely untrue actually. I like touchscreen designs. But, when I can't blind-dial by touch while driving, I HAVE to have voice dialing that works. Most phones use VoiceSignal, which has been around for a while, and does a terrific job; I don't know why the iPhone, the Palm Pre (the one I'm looking at, and am waiting to get voicedial before I buy cuz I REALLY like it), etc just didn't come with it pre-installed, and that fact drives me bonkers.

You don't want that one. I had the HTC Touch for 3 days before I threw it back at Best Buy for being a craptastic phone.

The later iterations from HTC are a considerable improvement, but when it takes me 20 minutes to use their ghetto voice dial to make a call? It's not a phone, it's an internet portal that occasionally can make calls.

It's weird, when it hits you.

So, I'm prepping a lvl 9 DEF for a Posi TF next week, and think to myself, "hey, why not get all of lvl 10 from badge XP?" So I respec quickly to get Fly, and proceed to zip around all the lowbie areas, then the midrange zones, getting my free XP. Lvl 25 one-shots me? No problem! Hosp it with no XP loss, keep goin'!

And it's when I get to Kings Row that I see the badge plaque hidden around the low corner of a building. And suddenly I start remembering how HARD that plaque was to find before Vidiotmaps and the Wiki, and I had to rely on the coordinate system and just dumb luck.

And I'm looking around, remembering some of the first missions my SG ran in Kings Row, back in 2004. I remember commenting to one of my NYC buddies back then that I grew up in a neighborhood like KR (Astoria, Queens, although it's getting seriously gentrified now). I remember how hot it felt in summertime cuz of all the cement, and thinking, "Wow, KR has that same 'baked brick' look to it too".

And the memories blend. I'm not confusing KR for home - although I'd swear we had our share of CoT back in the 80s - but it struck me today how much a spare glance can jog your memory. And going back years, that's quite a bit of memory to jog. The sun setting over Talos, getting lost in the trees in Perez Park, watching the environment evolve with the Arenas, the Universities, and those mysterious scaffoldings in Steel Canyon and Oakes...

I just love the fact that COH can do this for me. Thanks, Devs. You may not have coded "/JogFondMemory1" into the game, but it's doing it all on its own.

EDIT #1: BL doesn't need it. Ultima does, but he's lvl 26. However, I forgot I was to roll up a new archer for this... I have Vox Nihili at lvl 9 currently, so getting her to 10 should be easy; I'd be leeching the XP at that point though, so will work on getting her higher.

Vox Nihili (Sonic/Archery Defender), lvl 9, OR
Ultima Ratio Regum (BS/Shield Scrapper), lvl 26

I find equally interesting that he doesn't come up unless someone posts "OMG TWIXT PWNZ UR SOULZ" habitually, or bumps existing "OMG TWIXT PZWN'D (insert server name)" threads.

Rule 1: If you won, you cheated.
Rule 2: /ignore

If someone wants to zone PVP, all bets are off IMO. If they want structure they can go to the Arena. I haven't zone PVP'd in almost a year, but most of the combat in the zones (I stuck to RV mostly) is casual duels atop a building, or teams doing pillbox CP for effect.

If there's an actual set of Freedom Fight Club rules, I don't know it, but I'm not a hardcore PVP player. However, Rule 1 seems to be a singular constant no matter what game you PVP in.
