And IMO, it really should be, if you go cross-server. I know it was meant for the EU crowd to commemorate their departure, but there are like what, twelve of them left in all of the EuroServers, so we should initiate the badge over here in their honor.
...right?
Anyway, to the OP: Some badges are meant to be obtainable under certain circumstances. It's the way it is. If your toons weren't here for the anniversary, they don't get the badge - because they weren't here to get it. -

I can reply, but if I try quoting, or if I copy in the entirety of that text above, the board throws an error out at me for it. =/ Taking this to PM to WN, but I'm surprised no one else seems to have an issue with it...

I'm having a problem quoting the existing post to add my own arcs, where "Quote" gets me a page programming error. Tried this in IE8 and Chrome Beta for weeks now. Wrong_Number/Police_Woman, how are you two updating the lists, exactly? I have some arcs to pitch here.

Quote:Can't, the language/server data is different between the three versions of COH (.US, .EU and .KR for the brief glimmer in time it was out, IIRC).Welcome.
I have to ask, is it necessary to download the game again? I would think you could get around that one somehow.
Which really bites, because it'd be nice if the global channel mechanism allowed for US/EU crosstalk. A lot of them started here anyway, so at least they'd just be resubbing, instead of having to buy the game outright... maybe? I don't know how they handled the .EU transfers back in '05. -
Damn proud of it too. How do I log out? Someone told me there was a better way than ALT+F4, but I lol'd at them and told them to take their RP shenanigans go back to Virtue.

Quote:Sorry to hear the EU crowds have gotten so thin. On the up side, there have been a good rush of .EU players on Freedom and some of the other east coast servers, so you may run across some familiar faces. Heck, I might recommend making a thread for EuroHeroes to post so they can keep track of one another.thanks for the welcome
i love this game and was so disappointed witht the decline on the eu side of things which is why ive come over here for a trial basis
Welcome to Feedom. Remember, we're evil gold farming powerlevelers who don't know how to play or even form coherent sentences, so try not to enjoy yourself too much.
Because, if you do, the terrorists win. -
Quote:A scrapper could feel his enemy's pain. The Hero(tm) should always be compassionate when they disembowel the wicked street thug. Maybe add a /em "there there" autoemote after every kill if you have this badge, to drive the point home. Not that I completely disagree with your reasoning, but how much sense does it make for a scrapper that's never had heal other to get Empath?
...okay, I'm leavin'. Exeunt, omnes. -
Quote:First: Crap, Shandi, welcome back.I have not recived my 45 and 48 month vet rewards and my account has never gone inactive. And I have not heard anything back on any of the the tickets I have submited about it. I have done an ingame bug and have submited one also through playNC. And I also spent 90 min. On hold on the phone only to get a problem has occured message when it came to my turn and disconected without talking to a tech. I would really appreciate this being taken care of sometime this year.
Second: If you have an open ticket for the petitions, reply there and keep the conversation going. From those who've had this happen, doing a /petition is the quickest way about it (the on-phone people don't amount to much for helping on that, as they refer the tickets to one of the online CSRs anyway).
So, go into your ticket history and reply to the message, stating that it has NOT been resolved, and give any account information to show proof (your account name is already included, I'm talking your vet reward calendar schedule, etc).
Looking forward to seeing you around, kiddo. Good luck on this. -
Quote:It should scale fine, with the only notable exception on mishes 3 and 4 that you'll be fighting my custom Caretaker mobs. I retweaked them to be less end-drainy, but they're built for punishment, be warned.Well, if we get 8.. that would be great!.. but I wasn't sure how his arc was going to scale up, and with such short notice I wasn't sure who was going to be able to come, so I figured I'd start the list at 6. lol
Thanks for running this, guys, I hope you enjoy it! -
Gaddammit. They'd kick off an event on the East Coast during rush hour? Stupid left coast Rikti!
:P Glad people got to have fun... I was on the DC Beltway... -
That mighta been it; I heard music for a few minutes and figured "Hm, musta finished..." Didn't know you used Steely Dan as review segues.
Thanks for clearing that up!

Quote:Heya Abrahms:It is indeed.
Tonight's arcs are: Always Waiting, Task Force Mutternacht, The Alien Tyrant, and Turg Fiction: IX. Tune in tonight at seven to see how they fare.
I tried tuning in around 7:20pm Eastern. Was it done by then? I just got the default music on the two streams, maybe I wasn't selecting the right broadcast?
Thanks again for offering this service for the Architect authors and players! -
Welcome (publicly) to Freedom, BF.
You know the deal. Join the chans, keep your ear to the ground, watch for signup sheets, participate, and HAVE FUN.
...and do my latest arc. Turg Fiction: IX - Mafia and Time Travel, what could POSSIBLY go wrong?

And, for anyone who thinks this is photoshopped, here's a Youtube video of the Rularuu model in action in Atlas Park (done with demo editing).

I'd like to nominate someone who's been putting a lot of work into his arc.
Quote:This street-smart package of dirtside heroics has a lot to like. Russian heroes (and everyone loves Russians, right?), 5th Column conspirators, twisted opponents, mind control, and a smarmy, know-it-all narrator who reminds me of the grown up version of the kid from 10th grade who would explain how awesome Babylon 5 really was.Arc ID: #351727
Arc Name: Hammer and Sickle of Paragon City
Global: @Tubbius
The arc's still evolving, but he's done a LOT to grow it, and I'm happy to put him in for new arc consideration. -

First, Melissa, congratulations on your promotion.
My question deals with Architect. Being nearly nine months away from its initial release, it's accrued a lot of accolades and passionate critiques for its inherent open-ended design. Along the way, there have been a lot of "stumbles" with the core app as well, such as maps originally available having been removed due to bugs, but not being addressed; mob types that are available in one area, but not another; the general arc database being a clutter; etc.
What are the plans for an "Architect 2.0", where we see the next step in its evolution? Will broken maps and reported bugs be addressed? Will there be QoL improvements for arc management, story creation, display improvements for ease of editing (e.g., I recently suggested contrast improvements on the text fields)? -

Quote:My bad, I meant four times. Even after reading your post, then re-reading what I wrote, on the first pass, I saw "four"...Have they changed the ITF? I've never seen more than three Nicti in the final mission, and we only had to defeat Rom four times.
Getting old, but at least I have scrutiny-focused forumites like yourselves to keep me in check.
