yeah Photoshop is not cheap, but if it's worth every penny if you know how to use it.

same needs to be said about learning all you can about photoshop. There are also numerous tricks you can do with the program too that you can really only learn from online tutorials or from experience with the program.

This is actually an interesting and relevant topic for me. I've been working on a set of pin-ups of my main character, Light-Speed. The images are laid out and presented as if it were a Playboy spread, complete with interview, fact sheet, and centerfold... plus 3 - 4 smaller shots. I had originally assumed I'd post the images here, but am reminded that the boards are visited by a younger crowd, so it might not be suitable material.

the sketch was fine, the colors are too glossy and have weird discolored lines where the sketch lines were. I plan to go back over and smudge out those weird lines on the high res file. dunno what I'll do about the big unnecessary blotchs of white yet.

"Kiss of the Kite" by Peng-Peng (will update to a DA link when it's a available)

This was a commissioned piece from Peng-Peng of DA. I asked if she would use the outfit Sargasso373 made, since it matches a ski outfit better than I can do in-game.

The setting is that Red Kite (who is madly in love with Turbo-Ski) has captured her prey and is about to give a fiery hot french kiss to Turbo-Ski. As you can see, Turbo-Ski isn't quite willing to give up that easily and is hastily trying to cut through her bindings with an ice knife.

I can't say I'm completely satisfied with it but then again I can't say I'm completely disappointed either. With some touch-up work in Photoshop when I have free time, I think I can make it look better than it is now.

How did I miss this?

I'm curious how you plan to run this with how inflexible the first Arachnos costume slot is. All you can really change is color layouts, unless you roll a helmetless widow, even then you're pretty limited.
