Okaaaaaay. Well, my question's been answered, so I'm out of this thread. Thanks, people.
-
We're five pages in, and I see, for the most part, positive naming of folks who really stand out in memories. I see references to a Doug the Troll whom I never knew but might have enjoyed getting to know.
No, I'm not going to poll people in-server; the game servers are for playing and for enjoying time with each other in-game and between missions, not for interrupting it with broadcasts and polls and tells and such.
So, with all that said, I add another fine friend on Justice--my co-founder of The Omniscients, Dire Angelus. While he's not exactly a social creature, and he doesn't make rounds in Atlas Park or any such, he's a fantastic guy willing and able to go out of his way to help with the Super Group's base-designing and prestige-earning needs.
He's a celebrity to the SG, kinda-sorta, even though we're small. -
A big red ball would be hilarious and fun if implemented correctly.
Tubbius approves. -
Awwww.
This is a big, happy thread, ain't it?
See what the benefits of a small, friendly server can be for you! Join a fun, awesome-filled server like Justice today! -
Eep :O
Just checking. . . that last post? That's aimed at the guy a few posts up, right? I hope? -
Any other spectacularly awesome people out there on Justice?
-
Preferably in-game, Volt_Sentinel, but if you know someone who needs a shout-out on here, ok
-
Clash of Justice Egos? Sounds like a mission arc coming to YOU soon.
But let's stay focused.Who is AWESOME on Justice?
-
I'm looking for POSITIVE vibes here.
I sincerely hope it doesn't become a flame war, myself. It'd be a shame.
For my part on this thread, Puncher, Peregrinus Prius, and MarineOfTheHood always seem to be hanging around Atlas, doing. . . a whole lotta nothin'.They're good peeps, though.
-
So, on a whim, I present the following question out of just wondering about it. Who out there, excluding your own toons, would you hold as being iconic and highly recognizable of all the players on Justice? When you think of "ultra cool people" whom everyone seems to know or who are apparently always hanging around or who always have that one thing they do that sets them apart. . . what characters and what players come to mind?
Just wondering what you guys and gals of Justice think. Let's recognize awesome where awesome exists.I'm not looking to mine these names for bugging purposes or any such. I just think it'd be cool to see who are the "celebrities" on the server, if there are such.
-
Thank you, Folonius. Knowing the ratio would be nice, just to ease the mind, of course, but I seriously doubt I'm going to get any more complaints on THAT arc.
Thanks for your time! -
Just out of curiosity, I have an arc with ONE complaint on it that it received way back in its earliest drafting/playtesting. It has somewhere around 50 ratings, and a rating in the 4-star area, as far as I can tell. The "complaint" is simply a post saying, "Oh, because this arc didn't spawn X number of bosses and such on a high difficulty, it might be bugged!" As far as I can tell, the arc is A-OK, and it has played well on almost every run I've taken through it, with or without multiple players.
SO here's my question. . . Two parts. Do complaints ever go away, without unpublishing arcs, and is there a hard, "this is it," maximum number of complaints one can have before an arc is banned?
Thank you in advance for your time. -
Sounds pretty cool to me. Might have to make a few adjustments when this stuff hits.
-
Why not have the simplest option of all for this? It won't eliminate griefing, but it will force folks to experience your arc.
Offer suggestions on either abandoned or finished arcs.
Offer ratings only for finished arcs.
This way, if a griefer really wants to zero-star everything you publish, he or she can, but it's definitely going to take more time. For example, take an arc that's soloable in about forty-five minutes. Most folks aren't going to play through the entire arc like that just to zero-star it unless they're downright malicious.
Maybe it could work? -
It'll be neat to see what wins and why.
-
Hey, I help run an SG whose players get along and don't quit the game at nerfs.
That's not just a dream!
-
English is my life. Of course I fill up text boxes and read all the ones I can!
-
I definitely understand your frustration, being a somewhat long-time video game level maker for various games over the years (going back to Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM, at least!). I'm pretttttty sure at a good guess that the reason they put the thing in there about trial users not using the MA is to prevent all the folks who would get on, use the trial accounts to spam farms/junk stuff, and then go poof.
That's my guess, anyway. Sadly, it's unfortunate. It'd be a HUGE selling point if trial users could try out what is, in my opinion, a really fun part of the game.
Here's hoping! Best of luck! -

It's somewhat possible.
Try a huge build.
Set the sliders as follows: Physique, waist, and hips all the way to the right. Chest, shoulders, and legs all the way to the left. It LOOKS right, but it has (understandable) problems with graphics clipping on many, many outfits (mostly to minimal degrees, but somewhat noteworthy). -
So I got a complaint for something that's operating as it's supposed to?
Poo. =(
Oh well. It's ok. Still, being able to delete it would be nice. . . . -
Just two minor thingies I'd love to see--or to know how to do if they're already able to be done.
1: I've seen the one complaint about one of my arcs a couple dozen times already. It's dealing with the difficulty of the arc, saying that it might/might not be bugged because someone played it on a high difficulty and only saw a very few lieutenants or bosses. While I don't believe it's bugged, from playing it numerous times with and without friends, I don't see anything in the MA stuff that allows for differences based on difficulties, unless I'm mistaken, and, thus, I'm wondering if it's possible for me to delete this complaint already, or even ever?
2: Is it possible to see the ratings for our arcs broken down by 5/4/3/2/1 stars, instead of just a composite or average?
Thanks, if you let me know there are ways to do this and I'm just not getting 'em!
PS: My two arcs are City of Ho Ho Ho (#18775, levels 5-20 with Outcasts and Trolls) and Polar Emergence Neutral Government User Interface Network (PENGUIN) (#29205, levels 34-50 with Crey and Winter Horde). Enjoy! -
I hate to bring this up, but did anyone else see "Internet" misspelled as "Interent" on the front of the box and slip case?
What is an Interent? Hmmmm.
Also, at the top on the back, "Villians."
Sigh.
Just a couple funnies. Here's hoping they get fixed on a second print run, if there is one! -
Hahahahahahahaaaaa!
Yup, I've wasted enough time playing games like this. Very funny!
