MrCaptainMan, thank you for your very warm reviews of my three arcs! I understand what you're saying about the final mission of Costume Contest; however, I'm pretty much out of space on that file due to having all the custom heroes. I'll see if I can tinker with it, though, and I'm currently in the process of tweaking the second mission of PENGUIN, as well. Stay tuned!
And to get myself back on topic, bigger file sizes would be nice, but this buying arcs is certainly a step in the right direction, allowing people more to work with. For one, it's very easy to get attached to GOOD ARCS and not want to delete them. So, more space is a plus. For two, if you can't get everything you like in one arc, you have an option. Put SOME of the whopping supa-custom-group in one arc, and introduce the players to the rest of it in a follow-up sequel arc!Just takes a lil' creativity.

I guess we can look at it like this:
They have to be able to pay for server space somehow, for one.
It could have been more than what they're asking, for two.
Twenty bucks for five slots? Well, let's see. . . . I got the CoH DVD for $10 and got a $15 month free. I got GvE for $10 and got a $15 month free. $20 Architect got me a $15 month and a $10 booster. So, doing the math? Saved 5 already from the DVD, 5 from GvE, and 5 from the Architect. Add on $5, for a total of the $20 that can be put toward 5 slots, and NC Soft breaks even from me.
I think I can do that. -
Thirty-four pages of, mostly, people happy about AWESOME people.
This is good stuff. -
"Iggy did it."
That strikes me as wonderfully hilarious, for some reason. It sounds like a punchline to a commercial, perhaps. -
Sad.
Have all the awesome people of Justice been mentioned? -
Dying to see the list of honorable mentions!
More AE fun!

While being a fairly hardcore role-player of many kinds since I was nine (twenty-one years ago and counting!), I see myself as more of a Concept Artist when it comes to character design and playstyle, with a very strong side of Grouper. In fact, I'd suggest breaking Grouper into subsets, as well, based on that Grouper's responsibilities. Namely, for me, I'm the Enhancer of the SG, if such a term existed--the guy who handles all that wonderful lil' crafting stuff with all the salvage, trying to ultimately land that 10,000 inventions badge in the long, long, long run (somewhere around 1800 as things are!).

My peacebringer got the 9-42 month rewards, including 3 character redeem slots. I've sent in a submission to the people over it all. For now, though, Perry Winkle will have to sit in limbo.
Got any alt characters you can play? -
Almost seven hours without a post on this thread?
MUST FIX THAT!
So who all else stands out on Justice? -
Congratulations to all the winners.
I might have to try a few of these out now that I know what's going on in them!
-
But we are ALL united--united toward BEING AWESOME.

Weird. I've been logging out for 8-10 hours at a time. While I've been getting time on the day job, I've not been getting the tailor tokens with my level 50, Tubbius.
Oh well. Guess I need to leave him offline for a few days and see what happens?
Thanks for the reply, Bashful. -
Hey there. So my level 50 controller has been logging out in the tailor in Steel Canyon, trying to work on that day job. While he keeps making progress on getting the badge itself (being about 60% in by now), he has, to date, received no tailor discount coupons, despite my making sure to log him out there every time I log him out, usually for overnight "gotta sleep some time" purposes.
So, what gives? My 22 controller, Waddle the Penguin, is also logging off in the tailor, and he's stockpiled ten coupons already and is at about the same percentage of completion.
Is this just because Tubbius is level 50, or is there something I need to do, first, like log off somewhere else for a day or two? -
So, as a page 27 recap, what defines a celebrity on here?
I'm talking about AWESOME people. These are the people whom everyone seems to know because of their ubiquitous presences, their amazing actions toward other players, and their memorable impacts on the game and the people in it.
Yes, there are also LESS THAN AWESOME people out there, too, who are just as memorable and all. . . but, as this last page has talked, this thread is wonderfully full of WIN.Let's keep it that way.
-
Folks could just ask the OP what he means by "celebrity."
-
Hmmm. Y'all need a pic of MY Santa, now. Sorry I don't know how to get it to format nicely where it's not a big link like this.
At least you know I'm not Rick Rolling you.

I am indeed that Santa-looking Tubbius fellow.
The one and only plump Santa who looks GOOD on Justice!
Does this help anyone recognize me, now?
Broadcast: It'd be awesome if someone held a CC right now. -
That's positive thinking, Obsidian. Yes, you ARE part of everybody.
Hey, I am, too. :O -
I take it that this Giggles guy would count as at least a minor Justice celebrity.
Funny how no one's mentioned meeeeee.
*Plots. Schemes.* -
Oh. Whoa.
I go to work for three hours, and this is up to 14 pages?
Wowsers.
Yeah, I reckon I'm back after about 8 pages.
So, let's recap.
Some people are saying lots of people are AWESOME PEOPLE (tm pending!).
Some people are giving very specific reasons why some people are AWESOME PEOPLE (see previous!).
So let's get another specific or two or three or whole bunch. Pick a gamer you respect on Justice, and give some specifics why.
WHY is this person a CoH celebrity on Justice? -
Sigh.
It's a shame. I was hardly looking for a "popularity contest" or something to turn folks against each other. It's a pity if that's what folks really do want.
I guess I'm finished posting in this thread. I'll keep reading as long as it's open. Keep talking about AWESOME PEOPLE, I suppose, but I honestly don't know what is wrong about there existing a thread giving folks praise for just being good gamers?
It's not about "Well, this gamer is better than YOU, so there!"
Here's what it's all about.
As players, we all appreciate seeing folks who shine and help, who go out of their way to be good citizens of this mythical Paragon City (and, yes, the Rogue Isles, too). Can't we put that into a friendly, unified statement without it turning into something unintended?
That's all. Take care, and good luck on Justice. -
Umm. . .
I hate to say it.
What's "IBTL?" I don't stay on the forums enough to know the abbreviations? :O
