    correct thread chap, we are looking to try this saturday, but im not sure we are logisticially in a place where we can just turn up and get this done, so we'll set a realistic date of the 16th at 8pm.

    Looking for team leader volounteers, as well as open discussion on tactics and ideas to make this a success!

    lol, no the idea was, that at say 76% hp, everyone NOT blowing themselves up legs it to avoid the mito respawn and promise of debt, leaving the SD guys to push him over the health marker, thus getting hami to spawn the mitos anyway, just without killing everyone pretty much automaticially!

    you know what, that is a good point

    although I will try something sneaky this afternoon regarding this, will edit or repost later!

    UPDATE: When you self destruct in "The Hive" and select respawn at base, your game client is still listing you as on the "Hive" mapserver, and if you use the base portal, NOT the eden teleporter, you exit where you self destructed. Now this could prove a problem for the raid in that people would respawn under a full power Hami, unless we use some shrewd tactics!

    The team that self destructs, should leave one member of their team in the zone alive, to message the detonated members of the team when to return, ideally once a few of the Mito's have been cleared by the other teams, giving the returning players chance to get out of Hami, regroup and reinforce the rest and continue the raid.

    Either this is going to be terribly complicated and be of no use, or it might be very handy! we wont know as I dont think its ever been tested!

    I may be wrong, but under a "Fun" Hami raid, we would clear the Mito's first, then hold Hamidon and spank him to death!

    Under the new system, we clear the Mito's, then when Hamidon himself is at 75% HP, he respawns them, normally causing everyone fighting him to die! then we have to do it all over again, he respawns them at 50% health, and again at 25%.

    Essentially making the raid "desk impacting on head rapidly" frustrating.

    Lost is suggesting that if someone keeps an eye on Hami's HP, when he gets to those percentages of health, we can finish our attacks and leg it out of range before Hami's Mito's start inflicting mass death!

    depending on how that goes, again if someone keeps tabs on Hami's health, we can also try self detonating a team of players at say 76% health. If the self detonates inflict the 1hp of damage and Hami respawns the Mito's, it wouldn't matter as everyone within Hami's range, would have self detonated!

    Just an updated idea, we currently have a new tool at our disposal for anti Hami work, good old self destruct!

    If we have a team, at each of his HP markers self detonate, then a second team does the same at the next marker etc, then hopefully we can minimise debt etc by having everyone in the cytoplasm who COULD be taken down by the mito spawn, be self destructing to take hami's HP past the spawn marker!

    a big thankyou for everyone thats begun EoE farming so far, we are hoping to have plenty of firepower on the night so we are getting the logistics ready now to support that. Any and ALL support for the raid is greatly appreciated!!!

    im trying to work in extra time this week and next for inspiration farming, having done 3 late shifts at work this week I've not had much chance yet to get much done, but saturday morning looks promising if anyone wishes to join me!!!

    Again in discussion on global, a few people are thkning enough is enough with Hami not getting a bit Union foot swiftly kicking him from behind!

    Which is why all this week, and next week with the provisional booting date being the 8th, we are encouraging anyone committed to a full raid, to assist in farming the Essence inspirations, or committing to joining us on the 8th, for a spot of Hami Bashing.

    Word has it Guardian in the US has this done in 43 minutes, whilst we aren't expecting miracles, it would be great to see another Union success!

    Ask either myself, or SGT MP Lawrence for details, on chat, or on Union Hamidon Raids channel!

  13. could have it like a raid perhaps, where multiple teams fight multiple objectives, on a timer perhaps for door missions to keep everyone together?
  14. since changes were made to Hamidon, the raid in itself has kind of died in favor of either running the Statesmans task force for Hami-O's or doing mothership raids as a community event.

    Wish I could say they were changing it back and we could get our friday night hami kicking back... but I cant

    Was chatting with Damz in Atlas after a particuliarly good session of Zombie Gutting and the topic of this thread came up! In passing conversation we likened having these "Signature characters" of Union in a story arc together, kind of like a player made freedom phalanx...

    was wondering if we could get something together story wise for mission architect, for submission as a group perhaps?

    and another mention for ArmourGeddon, who is normally found smack dab in the middle of ANY fight or raid of note

    I was inspired during conversation today, about past and current Hero's, people that stick out in your mind for various reasons, that have become "legends" amongst the playerbase!

    For example;

    Mothers Love for her constant empathing, Salacious for his badge addiction, Lost Samurai for the Hami raids and many many others. I'm not proposing a ego thread, but I do believe we have some really great Hero's on Union and it would be nice to hear about them more often
  20. I have a small one man base, I've got a few alts in it, and a few toons from friends that don't play anymore ( bah @ them I say ) on the small plot size.

    Have managed a control room, with 4 database's, about 5 teleports, a workshop with both tier 3 buff stations, salvage vault etc. It's very sparse, but very functional!!!
  21. have just confirmed that progress can be made on this badge by Hero's, single man SG's can use Ouroboros Portal to exit the mission after defeating Recluse, then a quick logout / login resets the mission for another crack!

  23. I still list everything for 10, means the fees are less ( a bit ) and I feel good about giving everyone a chance to bid.

    Sold a LoTG + Recharge this was and still got 60 mill for it, was pleasantly happy with that.

    Seriously though, considering the features added to CoX SINCE the purchase of the franchise, and having seen DCO video's recently ( can you say updated version of Freedom Force with Batman ) I sincerely have to disagree with you.

    and in fact, allow me to also use my Forum Veteran reward power "Public Mocking" which has an AoE attribute to allow other players to add follow up mocking damage, with psychological damage over time ( should stack nicely with what you already have ) ending in a sarcasm blowout.

    yes and no, if stone melee was hand to hand earth fighting, it would be essentially be super strength, with perhaps the "throwing of dust in eyes" move ( take that you fiend! )

    the stone mallet does not come out of thin air, its stone melee, the power represents your toon picking up a stone, smashing it a bit to make it very large, damaging and mallet style and bashing in your opponents skull with it.

    Use your imagination IMO.
