annoyingly they worked just fine on test, characters that dont have the badges on live got them straight away on test, across all builds of I13

all my binds, chat settings in options etc have been reset to defaults and I cannot seem to override them, even by re-entering the commands!
its currently effecting all my characters on my account, not just my main ones. -
even if the pack was £29.99 I'd probably get it having seen THOSE WINGS!!!! wow!

considering how much fun the MA will be, and the usual changes that normally accompany an issue ( shields and the day jobs are the meat of I13 - but look how much other stuff has been packed in too ) I very much doubt I14 will be JUST the MA, but rather a selection if architect / base and other crafting related additions.
Champions online soon after - I say cheap ripoff of the original and best. -
I always thought it could be cool to have another MMO linked to ours, where the population data of a "sims" style game like second life, is used to create the civilian population in CoH!

its just that there are a large number of reasons why it is technicially and operationally unfeasable, server transfers is the best we are going to get in the real world.
The amount of names, account clashes, hardware changes, scripts required, unforseen crashes, the fact that less servers means less choice to play on other server based hardware if there is a problem and on top of that the sheer fact that I can only see one benefit of merging servers ( more players to team with ) means that I'd rather be obnoxious in your opinion than spend months going over this conversation, arguing endlessly for it to be a remote possibility.
Additionally, you have fired a verbal cannonball at someone who has a differing opinion, please be careful when using such statements as it is glarily obvious that my post is meant in a light hearted manner. -
what would be great is a nice big cannon, with the end latticed with cheese wire, pointed off a nice big cliff, then an Anti Aircraft gun at the bottom of the cliff I can use to clay pigeon shoot the bits of people that keep asking for FLIPPIN SERVER MERGES that I intend to fire out of said cannon... Is that coming? please say yes!

I sure will be, our casualty ratio was really good again wednesday night so I'm going to do a few more! Things really work well when we work together on the ship raids

Quoted for sentiment, I really think we have a fantastic community, which is why the Legends suggestion has so many names already, why we continued as long as we did tonight and why wednesday night we are going to give the Rikti mothership a kicking it wont soon forget!!! -

Ok, tonight didn't end in a Hami defeat but we did learn a few things that certainly will help next time we go for Hamidon, Namely:
1.The Dev that redesigned Hami should bugger off back to WoW where we work out battles with a calculator.
2.That Hamidon needs his ranged / melee damage split across teams. Meaning that 6 ranged teams should target the 6 blue mito's in each wave, 6 melee teams go for the yellows etc.
This means that the green mitos will have to split heal, giving us a better attacking chance.
Raiders should also only attack under EoE cover, if done correctly 1-2 mito's should go down every 60 seconds easily.
Plenty of damage buffs each attacking phase helps
if anyone noticed anything that we can use constructively in future, please add it as I'd be proud to make Union Hami raids the success they once were under Lost Samurai's careful guidance! -

I think this is a damn fine idea that perhaps as suggested could be worked into several story arc's crossing over, 2 hero side, 2 villain side? Will take a lot of writing, but if done right would be amazing!

I know, seems ages ago we last all charged into the big guy to attack, probably our best bet is to get in, do one Mito and get out.

Not really, not even sure why this is being asked for. Relying on one server for the EU english client would be nuts if it ever went down, and cause serious lag issues for both sets of players now forced to use the same server.
Players would lose slots due to server merge and it would all be very messy! -
Dark Astoria RV style "zone battle" that can keep the forces of darkness temporarily at bay, with merits awarded ( only a small amount ) for successful zone reverts, and other zone related meritable events for Villains.
Bases Sort out some of the base items such as the inspiration collector being ridiculiously HUGE on the tileset, make the items a little more believable, I mean c'mon, putting enhancements into jars?
Also, I would love to see ramps etc, that can attach to the sides of rooms without the room "trim" dissapearing!
PvP Award every player a one shot win button for fights, as the fun element seems to be overlooked in PvP, which is why we are where we are to start with...

Servers Create a server called Uniant, where we can offload all the people who think we need to merge the servers, for no other reason than more people seem to use Union...

Having not done a raid for some time, I'm working on a few assumptions here, but I've formulated a general plan based on the tactics from Hamidon that is fought during the LGTF.
PHASE-01 EoE / GM farming
Teams will get cracking on the GM's focusing on clearing a pathway from the Hive entrance onto "Cowards Hill" as it is lovingly known, all teams to work together to expediate GM downing and all players in the attacking force to reach the hill with minimum casualties.
PHASE-02 Hami Spawn Confirm
If Hamidon is not present by the time we have reached the hill, it will be nessecary to attack GM's around Hamidons spawn point, giving priority to ones near the Hill. Players should NOT attack targets lower in the spawning area, to avoid having large groups attacked by Hami, when he eventually does spawn.
PHASE-03 EoE Dispersion and setup
Teams will then, with amazing effort from Sgt MP Lawrence, begin dispersing EoE's so that players are fully prepared for the attack phases of Hami, a specialised team to draw Hami's aggro ( on the basis that Hami still attacks when we are clearing Mito's ) and avoid any mass death from uber long range blasts.
Not too sure on being unable to heal in the Cytoplasm, I think thats limited to the LGTF Hamidon.
PHASE-04 Mito attack
Just as the LGTF, we will need to clear out Hami's Mito defences in order to begin the assault. I think the LGTF rule should work here, with the yellows, blues and then greens being taken down.
PHASE-05 Hami hp reduction
Hamidon can then be attacked directly, again a tank system will draw his aggro, while the others attack from the other side to avoid casualties. If the tank drops, a player monitoring hami / tank hp should be able to give warning to retreat and resetup on Hami.
At the 75, 50 and 25% markers the raid monitor should also offer a withdraw signal to avoid being caught in the mito respawn that takes place at each of these Hp markers.
at each marker, return to mito phase and repeat as nessecary.
During the last cycle, where hamidon can no longer spawn mito's, characters can all attack hamidon directly and should then be awarded a Hami-O upon the 0hp marker.

well I'm hoping as we get closer to the Mission Architect we can put something together with some familiar names! Sort of like the featured hero's on the CoH site, but something a bit more playable!

I wouldn't have thought costume slot redemption would have triggered an invasion, as they are finite in rescource, something repeatable that is common hero and villainside is far more likely, just need to figure out what!
