All my toons start out as a concept idea, mostly that concept has a gender attached to it. To this date they have been fairly even devided between both sexes.

If Babs removes the slow, bulky feel of the granite I have no need for it anymore. Might aswell play my invul then.

I have a solution, and I'm half surprised no one has suggested it before me. A see a lot of replies saying that they are FOR change, but will miss the GIGANTIC feel. Well... why not just do this:
/macro GRNT "powexec_name Granite Armor$$CC 01"
This would toggle on granite armor and you could SET the costume you wanted to be when you turned the armor on. You could just USE the new options in the science pack to make a HUGE style of your character, OR make him stone, WHICH IS A PART OF OUR COSTUME system. This cause is not lost, a simple macro and or BIND fix would still enable you to be a giant human ROCK, bigger then most, just MAX height, MAX legs, and even use the HUGE body type if you want! Of course the CC 01 would need to be changed based on the costume slot said Granite type outfit would be in.
And as a side note, I'm all for granite armor being changed. I got my macro skills at the ready! -
I like the fact that you turn into a huge chunk of rock. I wouldn't mind if the actual granite model changed (depending on if the new one looks good of course
). But I'd rather keep the 'huge' effect.

I also feel that many new players have been lost to this game because it does start out pretty difficult for a new player. Leveling to 14 is the most tedious part of the game, constantly running out of endurance and having to street travel with sprint. You really do not feel like a super heroe at this point. A few wrong choices in powers and now the new player is looking at what seems forever to get his travel power and stamina. No respec until 24.
For veteran players this is all meaningless. But I do feel it's the first 20 levels or so that should be made even easier with architypes like brute and scrapper pretty much hand held in the direction of stamina and a travel power each level.
Let people coming out of CO start soloing around quickly with actual super powers and not constanty resting for endurance. This would tend to retain many more of them. Maybe get rid of training enhancements and just replace em with DOs then drop SOs to 18. And explain to new players about the 3 enhancement cap. Something that major should be documented in game. Perhaps even a easy to obtain and solo respec quest at level 12, and bumping stamina over health in the fitness pool.
I think a problem with this game is it seems really tedious for the first 20 levels and then, if you made your build right, it totally kicks ***. I personally have a few friends who have tried this game and did not continue past the first 20 levels. It would not effect overall balance in any way to simply make the lower and tedious levels into easy mode.
Just some thoughts...
-faster xp gain between lvl 5 and 24
-no more end cost for brawl
-origin power end cost lowered from 6.5 to 2.verylittle
-better team mechanix
and yes AE 'nerfing' (I prefer to call it buffing ) so maybe, just maybe people will start running a few more mission PUGs.

For that mission, I believe it's pathing errors that the ambushes and patrols have issues with that causes the lag. When it happens, you can usually notice a very large group of foes bunched up in a corner somewhere, or caught up on plants.. usually on the other side of that archway.. which is why many people stay near the bridge at the beginning and pull the foes down the hill instead. That seems to prevent the ambushes from going in the "wrong direction" and causing the "lag-fest" you describe.
Personally.. I haven't had an issue with it since last year. I occasionally run into the "nova-lag" when somebody sets off a big explosion, and my guess would be that might have something to do with all the extra sound effects built into the Cimerorans, and large AoEs make them all grunt at the same time, and it hesitates.
I'm not saying that nothing is wrong, but it's certainly a manageable situation if you play it differently.. especially when you do the same thing every time and know it's coming.
It's an awesome TF, but that mission has BROKEN written all over it. -
I don't want to loose the names on a number of my characters nor do I wish to loose 3+ years of prestige and work poored into my SG. So unless they find a way to let me keep my names and port over SG's (wich I also don't wish to rename) including bases I don't want to move over to the US.
The player numbers, while not high, aren't as low as some people make them out to be, not on Union at least. And getting a better connection to the US servers as opposed to the Eu ones in Germany isn't true for me either. (Though the difference isn't really that noticable.)
Now a server list merger, THAT is something I would like to see. -

I still play regular missions with friends and PuGs, the same way and the same amount (well maybe a bit less since I fit in a AE arc every now and then) I did before AE was released. And I16 wont change anything about that either. It'll only make things easier since now I can get a wider spread of levels on my team making iet easier to get it filled up. -

Surely you have to have sections for none english speaking players but there are lots of players that dont speak just the 3 languages on this forum!

They actually installed the EU Lounge to do us (the old EU board members) a favour, because a portion of us were worried about loosing our small and cozy community into the big ocean that is the US forums. (Not me personally, but I still find it nice to have an EU lounge.) So your EU vs US landmass size argument doesn't make a whole lot of sense. But by your own admission that wasn't really the point of it anyway.
By the way, it is in the 'for fun' section, more people do seem to appreciate it than not and 'truth' is, it only seems illogical and counterproductive in your (and maybe some others) mind. And really if you are offended by this, you REALLY need to grow a thicker skin.
But I'm fairly sure you knew all of those things (you admitted to most of them) but found you had to find something to gripe about just because you can. -

I quite like football, though I don't support one particular club or nation (especially not my own, they suck They even hired a Dutch coach in a desperate attempt to turn things around ...) I don't really follow the national leagues either, only the big international tournament like the Champions League or the World Cup.
