D'oh! Overdue rent. Paid, all is good again.
-
For a long time I have had a villain side base, that was small, but had all the basic needs. Porters to all zones, basic reclamator and auto doc, storage and crafting.
Today, none of it works. I can't get any power. I have the basic generator sitting where it has been since day one, but now it produces no power. WTF?
I have tried selling it and rebuying it. Moving it. Nothing. the base editor tells me I have no power, and thus no control either.
It worked less than a week ago.
I am stumped. Ideas anyone? -
You mean to say, that my fire imps are getting NO accuracy or damage boosts from that set?
They are effectively only slotted with endurence discount of summoning, and on summoning recharge time reduction? -
And here you are, using "de" instead of "the", after being asked to use proper english.
I answered your question, in great detail.
NO!
There, is that simple enough for you?
Freaks are a well balanced foe group, and can be very tough for squishies.
If you think their reward is out of line with their difficulty, please explain.
Use complete sentances if you are able. This is a a text only medium of comunication.
Welcome to the internet. -
First of all, welcome.
Second, how about you you proper english. I can speak a small amout of gibberish, but it hurts my head to do so.
Thirdly, I will give you the benifit of the doubt and not put you on ignore as a troll, and a rather poor one at that. The answer to your question, as nearly as I can decipher is:
Moew farms were exploits. Be they Rikti Commo Officer only maps, or foes with no ranged attacks, they were all using exploits.
(The Devs learned their lesson about no ranged attacks waaaaay back in the old days, so I am surprised they let THAT bonehead exploit get out of beta into live)
A large map with level 50+ Freakshow is NOT an exploit.
The Juicers still fly and have powerful melee attacks.
The Stunners still stun, and fly to melee with powerful melee attacks.
Both still attack with energy and still sap endurence.
Swipers still have their ranged attack.
Smashers still stun, and hit hella hard in melee.
Boss Freaks still use grenedes, or saw blade attacks from range, as well as hit hella hard melee.
Freaks all still use Dull Pain, and self rez at times making them extra hard to bring down.
While not as difficult as SOME foe groups like Malta, Rularuu, and KoA, they are by no means "easy meat". They are on a par with Council and CoT.
By what reasoning are they an exploit?
If you think that a large team with a Tank herding, Controllers using control, and Blasters/Scrappers killing things are exploitive, you are sadly mistaken. -
Start at the ships near Ghost Falcon, and then follow the power lines to portal court. Follow the power line south and check the ships again.

Such great detail, that explains it all.
Do you mean his channel gun is also a sapper, that does not show anything in the combat log? Freakshow, Clockwork, Mus and other sappers show the endurence drain in the combat log.
If so screw this mission, time to bootstrap my 50 Brute with a friend. -
Was fighting Lord Recluse in the patron arc. I kept getting flatlined and could not get enough endurence to DO anything. There were no Mus about, just a Fortunata and a Bane or two. What was sapping me? The combat log isn't helping me.
-
There is/was a player created video in the CoX video contest that had just that. A non powered role playing game for meta humans. It was part of a Recluse plot to take the Heroes off the streets of Paragon City.
It backfired when Recluse got sucked in. "lvl 15 socker mom looking for a team!"
One Hero was palying a stripper. "Oh wow, I just take off my clothes and dance, and men give me money! I am not gay or anything, but man, I am HOT!"
It was one of the ones in the group, like "Donuts", and "Baby Toons". -
Thank you for comfirming this. I have a range enhancer in my Flashfire, and I keep noticing that the NPCs do that little, "stand up fully, hey!" posture change that means they see you as I am firing it off. This goes with several things I noticed with custom NPC.
Blaster NPCs get Defiance.
I just fought a Zombie using Rooted, but he could jump! AND his power set was mace stone armor, yet I was being immobilised! Stone does NOT have an immobilise! Mudpots is a slow and DoT. -
You either just do not get it, or haven't read this entire thread. When the purse snatcher/mugger or dope/weapons seller runs, it is expected. There is even a bonus for breaking up the deal, or being thanked.
What is relativly new, and being complained about is foes running for the hills as soon as a dubuff is applied, before the first hit sometimes. Or just shortly after said first hit.
More importnat, this running is NOT intended, and new since issue 12. This is a serious problem for anchor debuffs. It is also a serious problem for melee fighters with a debuff to any of their shield/damage fields.
Foes have run when below 25% of life since forever, but running at 95%+ is new different and frustrating, especialy on defeat alls.
You also seem to miss the little fact that chasing runners aggroes other spawns, as well as anchored debuffs that are taken through other spawns. One runner with a debuff field can pull aggro from a whole room, and then some.
Explain why a purple freakshow tank should run for the hills when the first hit lands, taking an awesome 4% of their hitpoints? If you are hitting them with dark melee, the acc debuff can do that. -
ALL my blasters have Stealth. It is so very usefull in getting into position for my opening salvo. I can close to my lowest ranged ranged attack, and fire away. I would be seen, attacked, and therefore interupted in my Snipe, rendering it unusable in that fight in stead of my opening move.
Getting that PERFECT position to use my cone weapons, and short range heaveys AFTER my snipe is worth the power. -
Then you are one lucky SOB.
My pets will periodicly flat out disobey/ignore my orders. I set them to heel, and go to here. (key bind, all pets, go to here, passive) Then they flat out ignore me and run off into the sunset, perhaps seeking hot robot love. Not just attacking some target in my scanning range, but running away never to be seen again as they die of aggro. They just pick a direction and go.
Count you self lucky if you have not experienced the Willful Disobedient Pet Sydrome.
Surely you have READ of this problem by now, even if you have not had it happen to YOU.This was a MAJOR shiite storm a while bad. You are in fact, the ONLY MM I have ever heared of NOT having this problem now and then. The only solution is to dismiss them and respawn. The first time it happened, I was like W T F? Then I talked to my MM buddies. "Oh yah, happens all the time. just dismiss them and respawn. This is nothing new."
