    Ya, I enjoy PvE still too. Maybe the changes to PvP should be implemented into PvE? I'm tired of not being able to run missions as easily as those with the best IO sets.

    PvE should be worked so that everyone is on a "level playing field."

    This isn't another "let's get more older players to come back" attempt - it's not an attempt to get a ladder together on the test server when almost no one has connections to the test server.

    This is a promising attempt to rebuild and reestablish a PvP community.
    Call me a pesimist but I don't like the idea of reestablishing a PvP community. It sends the Devs the wrong signal; that people are "okay" with the changes the Devs have made and gives the Devs less of an incentive to make the changes needed to bring back PvP.

    Best thing that could happen to PvP (in my opinion) is for people to just... not participate.
    Then maybe the devs would get the go-ahead to make the necessary changes to bring it back.

    I don't know. I'm just completely uninterested in pvp in its current state, it makes me a sad zone farmer.

    +5 everything that is ghost in the shell. Amazing writing, incredible music composition, great story, beautifully detailed artwork both in movies and series.

    Fist of the Northstar+++1 isn't on this list, why? It's an Anime classic. if you are going to recommend anime to watch lets start by recommending the classics. Fist of the northstar is a MUST watch for anyone who claims to be a serious anime fan.

    Mobile Suit Gundam++1
    Berserk++1
    Royal Space Force++1
    Gunbuster++1
    Star Blazers the quest for Iscandar++1
    Wicked City+++1 isn't on this list either, another classic.
    Violence Jack++1 Classic
    Project A-ko++1, Classic
    I didn't see Ninja-scroll++++1
    Vampire Hunter D+++1
    Macross Plus++1
    Serial experiement Lain++1
    DNA2++1

    Bunch more but it's too early for me to think at the moment. Thank-you for mentioning Patlabor and Appleseed.

    D.O.A., Naruto, Death Note, blood+ aren't anime in my opinion..it's pop-culture pandering. They all get
    -100

    PvP Empty?

PvP doesn't start to pick up until Siren's Call (level 20 entrance, set to level 30) and really in RV and at level 50 in the arena. However, if you're on a server other than Freedom or maybe Virtue, good luck finding PvP reliably.

    Don't bother coming to Virtue if you intend to PvP. All we have are some really bad Korean regeners that come in to get wrecked once in awhile.

    Other than that RV is a great farm zone for villains and a great zone to be farmed if you're a hero.

    Arena is dead unless you can grief some RPers into dueling you ICly or promise ERP in Arena. :O

    In the same way posting lengthy insightful ideas on how to improve PvP are constructive. They aren't. The Devs will do what the Devs want to do because in all their infinite wisdom they always know what's best for you PvPers. Even though they don't.
  10. So it's begun... We are having to purchase powers that aren't just cosmetic.

    Yes, I'm starting to miss the Ducks assembly line cookie cutter builds too; always fun to farm.

    I'd recommend packing up and moving to freedom. Nothing but the worst PvPers, ERPvPers and farmers in Virtue RV these days. SC is in a sad state as well.

    However, I'd consider finalizing your build before moving to Freedom. **** is expensive over there.

    Have fun. From what I hear they're in need of some more decent PvPers over there.

    Who knows, maybe he got smart and moved to Freedom. ;D

    I remember when we griefed Twixt out of Virtue RV. Think Icerize has a screenshot of TWIXT's epic declaration that he was moving to Freedom. Classic.

    Virtue, home of the: Nothing to see here. Go to Freedom.

    Tokyo, I'm not saying that you don't see something different since I go there two to three days out the week for a few hours at a time. So during any other time I'm sure it could end up different from what I see.

    Well if rumors hold true, you won't be seeing Paix fiteklubing under atlas anymore. Just Korea and their Regens for awhile XD. Heroes could use some variety.

    heroes will push the Villains back to base when the majority of Villains get bored of base sitting and leave. Otherwise it's a wash and the majority of the time Vills are either chasing blues back to base or base sitting.

    Freedom server consistently has large KB matches hosted by myself and members of the Unsupressed SG. 8v8s are a fairly common sight. It's no i12, but it's the basis of building a new PvP community.

    As the population grows we can start doing touneys and maybe even leagues.

    Matches are run with Heal Decay and Travel Suppression turned off. Anyone is welcome to participate, regardless of PvP experience/skill.

    Support/Disruption players needed most.

    Transfer to freedom, it will be worth it.
    This is where I'd usually make some bitter comment about PvPing being dead and that you should give up...

    Wish you guys the best of luck.

It doesnt seem like any of illusions pet powers really assist in pvp since the players are smart enough to ignore invincible pets. I run a build very similar to the one in the controller forums written by Local_man and its great for PVE. Just wanted to know if PVP is a possibility. Thanks for your input.
    I much prefer my Ill/Storm for PvP. I find Rad to be painfully underwhelming compared to Therm or Emp you can pick up for Trollers. But then I'm not much of a PvPer either.

    Any advice for Troller Epic Pool for an Ill/Stormie?

    I'm thinking Ice Mastery as I really like the -rech aspects of ice Blast and snow storm. And Hibernate is always nice to have. Although indomitable will also looks promising in Psionic Mastery.
