Anyone who farms in RV has either heard of how bad a PvPer I am or has seen for themselves.
We are trying to consolidate the PvP community on one server. We aren't attempting to hinder PvP we are trying to keep it ALIVE. The Devs have given us an opportunity to do just that.Quote:why do you read the post next time -- or post something even slightly constructive??

If you have PvP characters on your home server and would like to participate in PvP, Eat_Me gave you the best advice. Move your PvP toons to Freedom. Either way, you are making room for slots on your home server if you don't intend to PvP. It's a win/win.
If you don't want to move any of your toons at all to freedom, i'd recommend giving up on PvP. That's the only Server that will have any semblance of a PvP community by the end of this month.
I do not represent the PvP community, nor are the majority of the PvP community like Conflict or Mac. There are a great deal of non-confrontational PvPers on Freedom; so you really shouldn't color the entire community with the same brush. I guarantee you will find a niche for yourself among like-minded PvPers in the much larger PvP community that is freeodm. -

There's nothing to see in Virtue but Daily TFs, Role-Players and an active community. Virtue tends to be the Server for the casual gamer, it probably isn't for you.

Solution: Find a RP VG/SG and they'll be more than willing to take you under their wing.
Also, interact with other characters you have never met In Character as people you don't know. Unless you are a First Person Omniscient RPer like me. Which you aren't.

I think your farming reference means that you 'farm' other players in pvP zones, which would imply that your preferred targets are the easiest kills, which I guess would be AFK corruptors.

I don't know who those people are, and as I've repeatedly said, I'm not a regular PVPer. I just pop into the zones once in a while. They're usually empty when I do, so I either run zone missions or just leave (or log out to get Predator). I sure don't know who you are or where this chip on your shoulder has come from.
As for who I am in the game, I have about 30 characters on virtue. None of them are named "Paix" or "lolAnything".
You don't seem to comprehend that this talk of honor, fairness, sportsmanship and respect.. have no place in zone PvP. It's a free-for-all, anything goes. There are NO RULES OF ENGAGEMENT. If you want your sense of honor, justice, sportsmanship and respect...please by all means, use the Arena.
Just stop whining about the zones being what they are and how people choose to engage or disengage in combat. -

Yup, Paix is back. But he says he won't be coming back to any of the farm zones. I miss farming him. Atleast his regen was somewhat entertaining to farm.
We chased Outlaw out. He's been on Freedom with the rest of the Elite PvPers. -

Ok, maybe the problem is that you came into this conversation late. Let me reiterate. There's two separate things I have a problem with. Let me clearly define them:
1.) The example I cited was a tanker attacking my brute when I came out of a mission in Bloody Bay. We started to fight, I started to win, so he ran away. This strikes me as being a poor sport. He PICKED the fight with me, and then refused to finish it. He's either afraid of losing or a bad sport and just refuses to let anyone else win. Either way, it's bad form. Once you start a fight, you finish it. It's disrespectful to your opponent to tip the board when the game doesn't go your way. Give them their well-earned victory.
NOTE: this applies to people who actively engage in PVP, often as the aggressor, then refuse to play it out unless they receive an easy win, otherwise they're gonna take their ball and go home. AND ONLY THOSE people. If you're not one of them, then I'm not talking to you.
2.) People who go to PVP zones to PVE and then feel entitled to NOT BE ATTACKED AT ALL and have a chip on their shoulder about people who attack them in the PVP zone. People who expect someone to ask them nicely if they'd like to fight or leave them alone and feel that they have a right to this. Anyone who attacks them in the PVP zone is a jerk, and they shouldn't be "forced" into PVP like that.
These two things are mutually exclusive.
