Still couldn't get the hero 1 to load, but 2 and 3 I've been able to work with despite errors.

Okay, after more reading and more playing in mids, looking ahead to i19, I've taken some of Candle's suggestion and shifted focus more on defense then recovery instead of almost evenly doing those, resist, and regeneration. It's not capped, I know that, but that's okay
I've also got a plan in mind for what slots to shift where when i19 comes out and I pick up maneuvers, tactics and vengeance. And most of this uses pieces I've already got set-wise.

I prefer the graphics and options in force, and they fit the toon's concept. Obviously, this is a toon with a 'character voice' since I'm saying "he wants" and such
So the choice in epic is going to stay, but thanks for the recommendation. I do have an ice blaster that will likely go that route.

When slotting, which bonuses do you try to focus on?
Right now my 50 psy/fire/force blaster is good enough he can off-tank with just a little support. Or for a few minutes while forces of nature is going. >.>
Right now, he's split between the three bonuses -- s/l/ranged defense, s/l resist, and regen.
But, he doesn't have burn. It has been brought to his attention and now he WANTS burn.
So, I'm looking at the opportunity to tweak him even more.
And this is all for before i19. Ideally, I'll be putting maneuvers, tactics, and vengeance in place when that goes live.
In any case, here's the build I have right now, with the exception of what I have in Forces of Nature since that's still broken in Mids
I'm wanting to take Burn instead of Combustion, shift TK blast up one slot, put will dom to level 8, and put burn at 35. Otherwise, these are the powers he wants. Slots, in general, are negotiable.

Given the choice between assault and tactics, which would you consider "better", assuming no need for the power to be an IO mule?

Ouch. Even just with maneuvers and tactics, even with some end redux in them, it more than doubles the standing endurance cost I have now.

You know, I had forgotten that we had the ability to modify the database ourselves on mids. I'll play with that, see if I can figure out how to make an inherent version of the fitness pool. Of course, if I get it working, how can I share that? >.>

Assault: 18.75% (defender); 15% (VEAT, troller,corr); 13.5% (EAT); 11.5% (dom, MM); 10.5% (everyone else). If everyone on the team has it, that's 84% more damage in the worst case scenario, up to 150% damage on a team of all defenders.
An extra 25% defense and 100% damage on an average team would be quite nice. With only half the team using Tactics, that's about 40% ToHit as well.
A few, though, have more in their primary/secondary they really were wanting, so that'll be nice. -
My toons are already poking me to start my redesign planning NAO so that when i19 comes out, they'll be able to go straight to respec.
Usually I use mids to do my planning, so it's requiring a bit of juggling. It'd be sweet if we got an interim 'beta' mids before i19. (hint!)
In the meantime, slots to brawl and sprint, and manual addition of the bonuses I get from the stuff I put in health and stamina.

Virtue here, too, with the same issues depending on server load. Middle of the week during the day, it's smooth as can be. Hit the rush times, and the thing is horrible.

I'm glad to hear that the rednames know about it. That honestly was my biggest concern. If I see the inf again, wonderful. If not.... at least I had enough to finish buying SOs. (Saving up for recipes)

Not that I noticed, no. It's possible, but I'm pretty sure it didn't. I do know however that I had to scroll down to reach the luck charms so didn't find what it had posted until a few minutes later. So it couldn't have been a basic mis-click.
I don't honestly expect to get the inf back, but I do want to make sure people are warned and the devs are aware. -
Maybe should go in the tech issues and bugs forum, I'm not sure. I did petition it but I wanted to put up a warning for others too.
I was trying to post a military cybernetic redside for 3mil.
It posted my 4 luck charms, *6* items down, for 3mil each.
The warning box still only warned it was going to cost me 150,000, which I knew. But it ended up costing 600,000. -

My friend and I were teamed on lowbies in Steel Canyon on Virtue. We tried zoning in to a radio mission and both mapserv'd during zone in. It kicked us back to the door, with the "no map" error followed by the classic "mapserver disconnected" message. So we both tried the old technique of logging out while mapserv'd in order to speed up the process.
It kicked both of us to just the sky of Steel Canyon. No buildings, no characters, no trees, no UI, just the sky. And then continued cycling through from sunset into night. -
I can't even connect at all to any toon in Talos or in Founder's.

Has anyone else been having problems recently (pre i-17 but post the last patch or maybe even the pre-download) with trying to zone into bases? Maybe 1/3 of the time when I or my SGmate try to enter a base (usually ours but not always) we end up crashing. Once we were kicked back to the previous location with a map error, once I crashed with a different map error, and the rest of the time it's been a normal game crash.
We do have a complex base, but this has happened to me on occasion even when I tried going into coalition bases that *weren't* complicated. -
Add me to the list of those with power coloring issues. Powers were reset. It's not the money for me really, it's the time it'll take to fix it across all affected toons and costumes.

I'm working on a fireplace of my own and this fireplace has been written in RP to have a mirror over it. The most obvious solution (and a possibility as this *is* in a control room) is one of the aux items that looks like a mirror. I don't know that I want to use that, though. Any other suggestions?
