Right..'Automatrix' bots/traps mm is now level 50, heroic and in the process of gearing up for CoP. Poison trap enhanced for recharge, shivans, amy's ward and a heavy acqiured, as well as anuclear payload wb nuke. Will try and get other 2 sometime soon. Currently sg less so could possobly bridge but my pc struggles with lots ppl on same map, so maybe I'd be suffering from too much lag to lead a team. Anything else i couls acquire between now an the trial?

Will there be another CoP attempt on Saturday 11th? Sign me up if so . What would be best to bring? Got a level 50 Grav/FF troller, a level 50 Elec /EM tank or a heroic lvl 49 (atm) bots/traps mm that come to mind plus a bs/ regen scrapper that could be useful.

Really want to take him down this time.

After a number of failed attempts to do the 'new' Hamidon raid, it was particularly sweet to stick it to him in such a comprehensive manner. So very glad I decided not to do this with my storm/ elec defender main rather a nice simple / regen scrapper. Poor fps insde the cytoplasm caused me problems until I found that I could auto follow Zoph V2 and queue attacks with keyboard.

ok I've had a look at your latest build, here goes ....


I reckon it's a decent set of powers chosen...the only thing I would say is that I would be tempted to drop either quantum shield or combat jump and pick up 'pulsar' instead single slotted with an acc/ disorient io from a set, I think they all have a component that will do that...In my opinion the difference between a stun/disorient and a hold is that the victims wander around a bit with the former. I reckon damage resistance will be less of an issue if a fair proportion of a sizeable mob is mezzed for a while.



As for the dwarf form slotting i'm inclined to agree with Smiling Joe. I reckon your dwarf form will be have better all round effectiveness by redistributing those slots. The way I would do it is to reduce the white dwarf sublimation to 3 slots and not expend resources on a doctored wounds set, rather have 2 recharges and a healing IO. I'd put the saved slots evenly between strike and smite and either go with std acc and rech IO or 2 of the melee IO sets that have 3 or 4 components.

I'll do a longer post later, but as a quick note about your dwarf form slotting...looking at that mids build you sent me last night I noticed there was virtually no accuracy put in...especially on the 'taunt' power..being as it's not autohit like a true tankers...maybe you could use an accuracy io rather than a taunt duration?...or perhaps there is part of a set that gives acc/recharge/ taunt?,,, more later

The base was fine...in through the portal follow corridor right..hang a left to the raid tp...no problems.

Mind you, had plenty of practice learning the route!

Next time I'll have shivan and heavy out ready before his shield drops..then dump the nuke on his bonce.

We were a bit lag locked when he became open the first time which meant the nukes got spread out.

Apart from that, I thought we handled part one incredibly well for newbies...might have lulled in to a false sense of security

Welcome back Mumsy

Got a few level 50 toons that I don't play any more and I am highly unlikely to play again. But I can't yet bring myself to delete. When the free transfers came along I moved them to another server, but even then I moved one back because it was my first tank to 50. I still have slots available so until they fill up they are probably safe-ish.

Got the pre download after I logged off last night. No idea what it is beyond speculation, as there is currently no official announcement.

Hero-wise Most will stay heroic, some will shift to vigilante, one or two will 'Go Rogue' and possibly even further to full blown villain. Of my villains, most will remain villainous, one will become a loose cannon type of rogue and one 'bots' mastermind will become a vigilante but no further.

My mate was extremely pleased with the result..he had a fiver on Iniesta to score the first goal
