He is from the northern part of Quebec, Canada where it is pretty cold even in summer.


6. Is there a particular scene you'd like to see?
Capt lives more of a Fantastic Four-ish life style than a Superman-ish. He has known about his powers since birth and is very comfortable with them. He is a socialite and a very focused, caring, team leader.
So they could be following some clues on a snowy tree trunk at the foot of a mountain in northern quebec, or they could be meeting some influencial figure at a Quebec City landmark or even flirting over a beer on a terrasse if front of the parlement. Those are all very plausible possibilities ... doing all those things at a simple round table on a street corner in the dead of winter is also something he would do ... (cold doesn't really bother him)

Like I mentionned somewhere else, I just love how that little fog/shadow was included to have the section in the light really stand out. This could have been colored really straight out and that little twist really adds a nice punch to the piece.

Nope ... still don't get it ...

Great piece Bobby ... and I like the character design too ... I like how he/she went for some jagged edges to the red instead of the traditional "flag like" straight lines ... simple but it works.

She should meet her sister in arms Lady Canuck. It would make for an interesting duo ...

yeah alot of people tend to just slap a pattern on for the entire surface they are going to use that pattern and it ends up looking weird ... I like how you took the time to change the angle to apply it to each part you used it on ... looks very nice and great job over all.

Thanks guys. Yeah I used a texture on the background because the characters were blending too much with the said background and I was looking for a way to make them stand out a bit more. A bit of a lazy way out but the goal I was after in coloring this piece was to see what I could come up with without spending an enormous amount of time on the task.
I normally have a tendency to get caught up in details and wanting a certain thing to come out a certain way, which ends up having me try 3 or 4 things ... and it never ends. This time I just wanted to go at it rough ... clean up a bit at the end (the one on DA is a "bit" cleaner too, and I found a shoulder after the fact ... so I added that) and see how it turned out. I always need to try something with every piece or I end up giving up before I'm done ... sad but mostly true.

( oh loookee ... I made it to legend ... after 5.5 years ... not too bad ... I think TA and Kat reached that point in their first month )

I haven't been able to figure out the cce parameter for Ninja Leap ... smokebomb is ccsmokebomb but has anyone figured out the Ninja Leap one?

Yeah if there is a 2nd team I would join with Thornster (50 Spines/DA scrapper) and probably Blackthorn (50 Plant/Thorn Dom) for Barracuda.


Edit: Tank made it to 45 tonight ( I could be persuaded to take him out instead of Thorn if it fits the need of the team better)
