    I think a better way to handle this is to simply allow players to purchase PP for each other... that way anyone can buy items off of their OWN wishlists, as well as making Christmas time pretty easy for some parents.

    I sure as heck HOPE not... it was near impossible to get the five folks I team with all in the same instance at the same time so we could RP and team properly... not to mention the lag prevented a friend from teaming meaningfully.

    If it stays at or above "Freedom-level" I think my stay there will be VERY short-lived.

    I am legitimately surprised that ANYONE is shocked about having these types of arcs closed. While I had fun in CEBR, I saw right away how aberrant the arc was from "normal" play... and thought to myself "if this thread and that arc isn't locked soonish... I would be surprised."

    I had this issue as well... it could be an issue with how long the Seed floats around and there MAY be too many people pinging at it for the amount of damage the League does to constitute a Badge.

    However, I doubt this is the case, despite what Support said when I filed a petition. I think it is a bug... The more of us that file /petitions and /bug the more likely the awarding of the Badge is likely to get corrected. To me there are few situations where you should qualify for a Merit Reward and NOT a Badge.

    It may not be an exploit per se.. but it CERTAINLY is aberrant gameplay (most folks don't eat several trays worth of Inspirations in an exceedingly short period of time and fight hordes of specially designed enemies at Level 1). Also, you can't cite lack of action as the act of giving permision, that boat don't float.

    Might I comment, though, that this is the ONLY method of farming that I find fun. I spent several hours in AE helping a character get to 50... with a Level 1 (well, he wasn't for long)!

    Hmmm... I had honestly NEVER thought about this issue before. I guess because I have never not had an active account since I started... and because I can't imagine forgetting where I put my characters.

    But, for those folks who need it, it might be nice to have a single list that just shows ALL of the characters on the account and instead of listing the Zone they are in, lists the server. I suppose it could simply always be at the top of the server list screen.

    I hope the Rocket Board is not the gateway to things like players driving cars in CoH.

    Any input on costume and/or new background? OH, and his Mercs are the clones of volunteer soldiers in his home reality who I bring here via my time dilation/reality warping abilities.

    Might I also suggest you use [center][IMG code][/center] to make it centered? I dunno what it is with me and centering sig images, but I think it looks better.

    If you can, you should prolly re-host it on a different photo storage website though, that way if folks explore the directory structure they won't be rooting through my stuff thinking its yours.

    Looking at it the same way... there is no reason TO give the farmer anything either, it works both ways. And with no good reason to pay for something that should be free, why wouldn't the 'farmee' just keep his pretend money?

    Nor do they work in the real world... for the most part. Might I add that hangings, in the past, were the site of a LARGE number of pickpocketing activities as well as other illegal acts. Also, might I also point out that th US has the LARGEST prison population in the developed world AND a crime rate that continues to climb... seems to me that the "Deterrence Method" never had a chance.

    I am fairly certain that I (as a Rogue) have dropped an O-Portal during Hero TFs and not had anyone state that they couldn't use it. And I am fairly confident that I used a Hero's portal to get to the Villain Ouroboros Zone on at least one occassion.

    Your signature and avie are SWEET looking. A note, though, you may want to scale down your sig a bit, I think there is some rule about width... though I don't remember a number of pixels off the top of my head.

    True.

    I didn't just mean that it is against the rules, which I am not entirely sure that it is... but just that it does several things: reminds us during our entertainment of real life, puts very dramatic real life events in the context of a digital passtime (which seems odd),and serves to remind us of an event that we are unlikely to forget anyway.

    You mention the story involving Durray, GG... in which Cole is angry with Durray for causing the deaths of civilians... which implies that he only plans to target military personell (at least for now).

    I used to hear that term used to mean "really going smoothly and quickly through groups in missions" especially Papers/Radios. It was a sort of compliment to the group, "Man, we are steamrolling this thing!"

    SpittingTrashcan, I have to say that once I saw those announcements, I had the SAME reaction you did. I don't plan to move ANY of my charcters to Exalted. I will make a character or two over there and MAYBE begin to use it as a warehouse for 50s I don't play. I would be very dissapointed if there are no more community events that take place on my home servers (Justice, Infinity and Guardian).
