For those interested in "da numbers": http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Lore_Slo...m_User_Testing
Otherwise, it really is all about concept. There isn't a ginormous difference among the various choices, IMO. Yes some of them are better in ST Damage, others excel at AoE and some have poor damage but use an exotic type like Psi. And of course, there is the buffing side of the tree... which has various ups and downs. But as far as I see it, it all is a wash more or less. -
Nice Dark Tower avie, Thany.
Also, thanks much for the free Loot Paragon! -

Quote:Not that I know of.Actually, are there any gay characters in [City of Heroes]? >>
However, at least one forumite is championing Serpent Drummer as a gay character. Personally, so little is know about him that it wouldn't be a bad choice, IMO.
[Edit: Looks like the forumite in question has beat me to this point. As far as LGBTQIA? I'm gay, and I find that to be entirely too many letters! The L and G are redundant (just for different genders)]

No new powers as far as I know. Forms are being changed so that they shift instantly though.

Another important thing to note is where on your Server the iTrials form up. On some servers it's Pocket D, others RWZ and still others Dark Astoria. I know Justice uses Pocked D and DA the most, Infinity I think has switched from RWZ to DA... but the rest? I have no idea.

Quote:I have never understood why "necro-ing" is bad. It doesn't make sense to me to make a new thread when this perfectly good one with the same idea is *points* over there collecting dust. Brush it off, and respond. I just don't get it.General rule of thumb:
If it's a month or so old, go ahead and reply.
If it's over a month or two old, give a link in a new thread and at least show you read it and the arguments in it. If you have something new ("I saw this, but thought I'd bring it up, there's a different way this could be tackled maybe") add it. If you don't... it's mostly "why rehash old arguments."
If it's running six months or more... yeah, don't just reply. Link if you want, but that's just too old.
(And if your argument is "I don't care what anyone else says," then post it in a blog and lock it.) -
Yes, yes it does. See, we can both do that?
Quote:I've never heard someone in game say they enjoy unlocking the PPPs.
Personally, I love the added flavor of running missions for a contact and actually committing my character to a given task/agenda. I always pick a Patron that my villain could actually stand to work with (not for... with).
Also, I am ignoring the Necro issue, since, well... this was a good idea when it was posted, and is a good idea now. -
Can't say that I've seen any of the things you are describing ever happen. What I can say, is it is a rather generous leap from "this is what I have seen on my computer" to "there must be something broken in the game."
I think a lot more feedback and corroboration of occurrences needs to happen before you can start blaming Paragon and not your personal rig. -

Quote:I said ADD it to a Vet Reward.. not add a new Vet Reward.vet rewards suck. If you are at tier 9 they are great, but if you are not you can't get them.
You can tell players that they can spend 80 PP to get an emote, or be subscribed for 5 more years to get the emote.
I.e. add it to the bonus of a lower tier one. -

I am ALL for "Death Emotes" but they better not need to be bought with points! Unlocked maybe, on an account-wide basis through some in-game activity... but NOT with Paragon Points.
Maybe add them to a Vet Reward? -

Perhaps I never noticed because I have been using the Vanguard Shield... which is energy and so less jarring if something moves through it?
-
Odd that you should say that... I took an StJ/Shield character all the way through Praetoria and never noticed any clipping at all... not to say it wasn't there, just that I never noticed. And things like that TEND to be something I notice right away... I will have to take a closer look at him.
