I think this is a great idea. Just unique enough to be divergent from the theme of the other CoV zones, but not so "unique" that people say, "What the F?"
The possessed Family and "Banished Spaniards" sound awesome. Do I smell a new powerset with this? Pistol/Sword Offense? Lol, j/k. -
I didn't mean "end" as in "finished" but "end" as in "stopped abruptly." His last comment in the thread is that he is still working on it after all.

Stumbled over this story via the link in the writer's sig. I am astounded by how good this story is. I don't think I have ever seen a character I have been so intrigued with, presented on a forum.
The fact that the storyline just ends... well... it makes me feel like "the Pirates of Dark Water" all over again. -

Nucleogenesis got himself a chronosuit made mostly of Valkyrie parts, but there are some Cyborg and Vanguard bits in there too.

I'm not certain I like the colour scheme, though. It needs something, but I'm not sure what.

Perhaps throw in some white? I like the combination of blackish, bright green and white.
Though, Jacobi's ide could look quite cool too.
And, yes... all the costumes in this thread are rocking! Especially Godbreaker and the Warmoon with pants. -

I decided to go on a Rikti safari to find out...
And the answer is, suprisingly, no, unless it's a Rikti Monkey.
Face from the front.
Face from behind.
And the very mouthy Rikti monkies.
My best guess is either those slits on the side of their faces function as mouths (In which they'd likely have to eat everything from a straw).
[/ QUOTE ]
If I remember my CoH/V lore correctly: the monkeys are not, in fact, Rikti. They are a species of animals created by the Rikti. So, the monkeys can not be used to determine if Rikti have mouths.
Edit: I was right. Source -
Very well done Torroes! Awesome.
The transitions especially are what did it for me. They all seemed perfect for the various changes. I, for one, appreciate the extra work you put into this. Especially the fact that you actually go through and list EVERYone that participated.
My only negative comments are:the credits seem to take as long as the rest of the vid (the last few being difficult to read), and there is a tiny syntactical mistake near the end, you wrote "a fun" instead of "fun."
Regarding music? I have always found a nice classical or instrumental piece goes well with comedic material. It seems the clash of "stodgy/serious" and "ridiculous" make it all the more funny. -
I never would've guessed Snow Globe's character was a girl!

I'm working on a gym/workout area for one of my SG bases and I came up with this:

It appears that many of you have entirely too much time on your hands... or are ridiculously creative.
You pick. -
So...?
Not to be pushy, well maybe a little, but what's the status of the video? Anyone else decide if they wanted to start another one? Ummm, some other thing. -
That's a good idea, but it seems like a TON of work.
Oh, and here are some screenshots of Wylde-Fire.
Wylde One
Wylde Two
Wylde Three
Wylde Four -
Well, I've already cast my vote. Unfortunately it looks like there isn't a ton of response about your idea.

Silver Surfer: Auuuugggggghhhhh!!!
Kitty: Meow?

(Hmmm, I guess one can tell that I post as I read things. LOLZ at triple-posting.) -
Arg... Test? Man, I really don't want to have to install the darn thing. If we can agree on a time and a regular server I would much rather roll a new character and meet up. That would take, what, five minutes?
I could make a "Wylde-Fire" appear on any server you like. Personally, I vote for Infinity as that is where my main is, but anywhere is good. -
Actually, the Kitty was (somewhat) right. In proper names that end in an "s" and words that naturally end in "s" the apostrophe "s" is used. Only after a plural is the possessive "s" always dropped.
Ex: Earl's house, my cars' doors, and St. James's Park.
However there are some schools of thought that dictate that the apostrophe is used alone after words that end in "s" if it is difficult or awkward to pronounce (thus subjective). I would argue a strict grammarian would append the "s" to "Atlas'" as it isn't particularly difficult to say "Atlas's."
However we are talking about a cat here. It can think whatever it wants. Not to mention the fact that he did use the incorrect conjugation of "be" in his thought balloon.

Nice. That almost hurts to look at due to the motion blur.

Volley 113 from the New Guy? I hope it's okay that I join in... I just found this thing!

Totally. This is no exclusive club or something. -

Sorry Wilde_Fire, I didn't know you was editing... My bad.
[/ QUOTE ]
No problem, there was no way for you to know.
See above, it be fixed! -
Volley 111
Okay, so I decided to *fix* it. I so wish that it would give you a pop-up to alert you that a new post has come in. I spend way too much time on the edit screen. -
Dang it! Why does this keep happening to me?
Garness.... Now I can't decide if I should fix it. Hrm. -

Wait a sec... didn't I That is so weird. *Strangeness* -
Wow.... the giant eraser is hilarious. And the fact that Neo is still saying "Deja vu" as you throw it back (almost) to the very first volley is noice.
I will definately have to contribute when I get home... this looks like a job for: Photoshop! *Da da da DA* -
Though many refute it, yes, and as far as I'm concerned there always should be.
Also, I would like to claim that my misspelling of Gojira was intentional and for ironic effect... it wasn't and I am just a, to use Torroes's word, a dumb-a$$. -
