This is not ment to start heated discussions. It is only to see if enough people agree with me and show the Devs that Atlas Park is being harmed by the existence of the AE building. Thank you.

Forum Rule #5.3: "Do not create threads/posts to petition or Lobby for game features, additions, changes, or other issues. You may post suggestions and/or ideas to the boards, but you may not create a petition for others to sign."
[/ QUOTE ]
So you bringing up perhaps the most ignored rule ever does.... what?!
At any rate, I agree with an above poster that moving the glut of AE Folks from AP --> Galaxy would accomplish little, and would leave the cause of the problem unchanged. However, Galaxy is a ghost town for the most part, and could use some action in it, if only unwanted annoying action.
So, dump the AE in AP and Mercy, and then work on solving the problem's root. Perhaps throw an AE room off of Pocket D as well. -
Mountain Dew all the way. Sometimes, I will drink some Cherry Limeade (OMG, that stuff is good), but that needs a glass, which requires pouring... way too much work when I can simply open a can of Dew.

Perhaps. Like the Statesman-esque cape that I really really wanted (worn by Imperious).
-
Definately follow up with CS about this. They had a GMOTD, IIRC, regarding this very issue and wanted input so that they can fix it.

Get thee to the Dev Digest, Jay's Costume Suggestion Thread.
Yes, it's long.
Yes, he reads them.
No, he doesn't tend to pay attention to them anywhere else.

This. I definately want the Sexy One to see this idea, though it has been suggested before. -

My friends who think WOW is the best game are bragging to me how they have motorcycles. How does it make sense that WOW has Motorcycles and COH doesn't?
[/ QUOTE ]
/em boggle
WoW has motorcycles?!? That has got to be the stupidest thing I have ever heard about that game... and I have heard some pretty stupid things.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh Come On!
They've got Goblins and Gnomes making Rockets, Bazookas, Cars with robotic arms attached, Robotic walking chickens you can purchase as a mount. Dynamite and other explosives in the hands of players.
What's so unbelievable about a big, smog-spewing motorcycle? When was C4 invented sometime in the mid to late 20th century, while Motorcycles came some 20-40 years earlier.
But you complain about the motorcycles? How about the airships? Toy Trains?
Either you accept that the game is a mixed back of genres doing it's best to fight off all comers, or you don't. But don't be -shocked- about it.

I did say: "the stupidest thing I have ever heard about that game." In other words, of the things I have heard, that is the stupidest. When I said, "and I have heard some stupid things," I was refering more to player antics... I still know decidedly little about the game itself or what it includes (willingly so). I don't wish to learn any more about it, but please, don't go off all half-cocked that I am being ridiculous. -

However, a reasonable person...
[/ QUOTE ]
If we have learned anything, it should be that people are not reasonable. I think the endless threads about this and the rampant hyperbole on both sides attest to this.
[ QUOTE ]
I could list other examples, but I think if only one person cites examples that it lends credence to your "hogwash" claim. If others join in and cite their observations then perhaps the argument is justified.
[/ QUOTE ]
People agreeing on something does not make it into a fact. It doesn't even make it believable, necessarily. Lots of people think that Elvis was abducted by aliens, or that there is an old invisible bearded man in the sky controlling our lives. -
Oh? Well I had a dream that I pulled a 2 foot long black snake from the sole of my shoe (while I was wearing it) on the front steps of my old job. Strangely, it seemed rather a mundane activity... until I woke up. *Shudders* And I like snakes.

This stuff is better than the fodder from the now dead Rude Tells thread!

Because it isn't possible. Unless you use "Th3" or "Teh" or some other strange permutation that is.

Ditto on that... Maybe I should get a 1,000 so that I can get the Rikti Monkey badge IRL... j/k. But, I would totally buy a monkey plushie! -

Not just you. -
It seems more news surfaces about Issues just before you are about to explode due to the questions raised by the last tidbits. Sometimes, it occurs after you have finished picking up your aspoloded self.

How about making 2 shirts available?
Shirt 1 would have 1st Place on the front with 3rd place on the back.
Shirt 2 would have 2nd Place on the front with 3rd place on the back.
[/ QUOTE ]
Not a bad idea... assuming they fix the typo on Third place that is (it says: "Summon it it" toward the bottom). -
Second place is a shirt I would totally wear! First place? Definately cool, but I wouldn't wear it.

I would guess it means he's been looking at drafting plans to a building built in 1921. But that's a WAG type of guess.

That is a far better guess than mine, I would guess. -

That's the nice thing about facts, they're not debatable.
[/ QUOTE ]
A philosophical quibble: facts are indeed debatable, and mutable over time. Might I comment that it was once an accepted fact that the Earth was flat.
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually its more like conclusions based on observed phenomenon are debatable. I believe the word "fact" is rather inadequate since it tends to have slightly different meanings depending on who you ask.
[/ QUOTE ]
Point taken. I guess you are looking at it as the "fact" is not the conclusion but instead the reason for there to be a conclusion: the phenomena themselves. The Earth exists, therefore it must have a shape would be closer to the fact. Looking at how things behave on Earth would lead to concluding it is round or flat or hexagonal being based on a fact, but not a fact itself. After all, the Earth is not round (circles are 2D) or spherical (it smooshes out at the equator) but an oblate spheroid. -

What does this even mean?

I believe it would describe the interior of his/her environment. Likely, it describes a location at which he works, and is thereby not able to leave... hence staring at random objects (like the ceiling). I could be wrong. -
