Quote:If you are serious about that, then I have to laugh.Obviously this topic is very controversial so please if you don't agree with farming on any level don't post about it as this is for constructive and helpful information, there are plenty of farm debates out there already.
I do think it is kind of humorous that the huge debate spawned by the inordinate amount of farming during i14's heyday amounted to little more than: "I can play how I want, it isn't wrong."
Now, we see that, indeed, it was wrong. How do I know this? Because the Devs have the final say on what is "proper" gameplay and what is not. The Devs changed major aspects of what was currently getting farmed to death. Therefore, it WASN'T a matter of prerogative, but of taking advantage of the system.
Carry on with picking the new thing to get nerfed, and the new entitlement that comes along with the fact that "the game lets me do it so it's okay." -
Quote:It's too early to call.I know it's early, but what impact are you seeing?
Reduced MA farming/pl'ing?
Increased solo farming in standard missions with extra difficulty options?
Lots of new alts increasing low level drops and starving mid level drops?
Wait a couple weeks, then we might have something meaningful to comment on. -

I would [Cut] that pigg file and place it on the desktop... see if it will notice it missing completely and try to fix it by downloading a new one? If that works, awesome... if not, then, what are you out but a few minutes?

I am only 12 entities away from getting Arcmage!! But, for the life of me I couldn't find any Master Illusionists in PI at all!

Quote:You are quite likely right, but hoping never hurts, does it?Haven't we learned that pushing out a release just before the long Christmas/New Year holiday is a recipe for disaster? While it would be "nice" to have this on the store shelves before Christmas from a business standpoint we still have about a month's worth of patches for I16 needing to be done plus the whole zombie/Halloween event plus the Father Time Holiday event. I can see another booster by the holiday season. I'm going to guess March 2010 for Going Rogue.
Speaking of which how many thinks that the Natural Origin Super Booster will include exclusive animations for Super Strength, Martial Arts, Swords, Maces and Axes? Maybe a custom weapon skin or 3? Or is Mutant next?
I hope that new animations are not relagated to a paid item pack. I am also hoping that mutant is up next, would love to see some new animal heads and other classicly mutie things. -
Best Case Scenario for Going Rogue Beta:
- Tier 1 — 60+ Month Vets: Oct. 20, 2009
- Tier 2 — Loyalty Program: Nov. 17, 2009
- Tier 3 — Preorder Purchasers: Dec. 8, 2009
That would put release at about Dec. 15 (perhaps as late as the 22) assuming everything goes perfectly. This makes the Beta period 8 weeks, or 9 if the 22nd ends up being the date.
This timing makes it very likely that GR won't release (in the real world, as opposed to this bizarre wishful thinking) until mid-January of 2010. -
I have had a few characters get up to 5 badges upon log in (not counting the Day Job and associated accolade for where the character was logged out).

Ahhhh, so the issue was greed then? Lol. :P

Yes.
5th Column spawn outside now, fighting the Council. This is occuring outside of IP as well. -

Hmmm, the IO Black Market has begun? Also, putting it on the market IS selling it directly to a buyer.

What sets this idea apart from anything else that already exists? Where is there anything unique that will make me want to roll something as limiting in concept as Reptilian Armor?

Not that I know of.
Ulterior and Vines were added in Issue 15 along with the new faces, IIRC.
