Am I the only person that sees something wrong with players coming to the forums and asking for other people to make them a build? No, I am not talking about people who post up their own builds and ask for a review or assistance or comments. I am talking about people who just come and flat out ask for someone to make a build for them that is "Godly". It comes across as many things, but lazy is pretty much at the top of the list.
What are your thoughts?
Personally, I enjoy making my own toons and builds the way I like. Sure, I peruse the guides found here online and take advice from friends, but I can honestly say I have never just copied and pasted an entire build from someone else into creation. Part of the fun for me is picking powersets, picking costumes, and enhancing the toon the way I like. Does anyone else feel like that?

Chain knockback is the FASTEST way to completely ruin a game altogether for me. Prototype just SUCKED for that. I'm this walking engine of destruction, sapwning spired of spikes from the ground, causing earthquakes, and shooting out massive explosions... And I get knocked back by every bomb, with zillions of them flying around. The only way I could reliably kill tanks in groups of two and three was to elbow-dive on them. Fighting them at ground level just got me shot-knocked-back. And the Hunters were just cheap. They don't reel, but you do, and their "combos" are just a windmill of twacks. So, I have super powers, but I'm STILL just a chump. I can see getting killed if I hit by too much enemy fire, but I'm basically helpless before them. Not enough offence to kill things before I get knocked away. Ugh...
And as to the hunters? Yeah, they are cheap, until you unlock the spinning blade aerial attack thing (forgot the name) that insta-kills them with but a touch. -
So... I've been playing Prototype lately, and I just finished a "boss battle" in Time Square, I think it took me like half an hour. And when I was done? I felt absolutely invincible. I was the lone character going against the giant pile of hit points, and for once, for whatever reason, I really enjoyed the entire fight... all of it.
I guess my point is, I kinda like things as they are, but you bring up an interesting question. What if I were the boss in that same scenario? Would it feel just as good to be a giant creature and have beaten a tiny hero hucking cars at me, with the military plinking their wittle buwwets at me? I don't think so.
In short, I don't think it would be better any other way. -

For GR they should apply the exact same rules in Praetoria that we currently have for PvP. This would not only provide players with a refreshing new level of challenge, but would also allow them to experience and get comfortable with these mechanics in a safe environment which will make them less apprehensive to step foot into the Arena or a PvP zone.
If this were to happen it would become a win/win situation for both the PvE and PvP community.
Also, please throw in some PvPvE content as well just like they have in Aion.

Maybe the GAME doesn't have enough events for it to matter - but players sure do. I don't know about your SG, but mind does several things a week, and we're pretty casual. I'm sure there are SG's out there that are doing things almost every day, who would find a SG-edited calendar very useful.

I have two Masterminds at the moment. Both have pet names I like.
My Thugs/FF, Skull-Force has:
Thugs: Bartel, Johan, Axelrod
Enforcers: Stangg, The Twin
Bruiser: Dakkon
All of those are named after legends from the Magic: the Gathering expansion of the same name. Points if you get the Enforcers' naming scheme.
My other MM is named Ophidius Rex and he's a Mercs/Poison who will eventually have his pets named WTFBBQ:
Whiskey 0.9, Tango 1.2, Foxtrot 1.6
Bravo 2.4, Bravo 1.3
Quebec 3.7
Additionally, each rank adds up to 3.7, which should have obvious significance for me. -
How about:
Ash Leonid? (Sounds like Ashley Onid).... Hmmm, maybe Ashley Onid. That last one would be a bit like a hidden meaning if you are one to enjoy those. Unfortunately, I don't have the availability to check them at this moment, but I can't imagine they are both taken. -

Not Canadians, most of them speak two--English and French. Mexicans...probably so. Most of them only speak Spanish. HOWEVER--they aren't nearly as snobbish about language as most people I've met. If you even TRY to speak Spanish, they will appreciate it, regardless of how much you butcher your pronounciation or confuse the words.

My theory? Our next Epic AT will not be an AT at all, but access to the Incarnate Origin. That way, at least ONE of the origins could mean something, and all of the various alignments could get a go at it.
