Quote:A recent Dev comment begs to differ. (I shall have to find it.)Nope. Nor will there ever be.
Illusion was one of the few sets the devs said would never be proliferated.
Edit, Found it:
Excerpt from TonyV's transcript of the Anniversary Event:
Quote:Roulette: Any plans still to try and port Illusion to villains? I remember there was a mention once but nothing since. I'd love an illusion MM or Dom
Castle: Roulette: If Illusions gets ported (and it likely will, eventually) it would go to Doms, but not MM's. -

Isn't that exactly as it should be? Like a Blaster, a Stalker is all about DMG (or should be). Or is this a backhanded jab at Stalker damage? Saying that they do such pathetic damage that it is cruel to compare an MM to a Stalker? I think I missed something.

Because one of the ways BAB discussed making Granite customizable was making it similar to the other armors... just chunks of rock that get added to your costume. This dovetails nicely with something Castle hinted at: making Granite much less powerful AND enabling it to used in conjunction with your other armors... hence my comments.
[Edit: I just looked, and can't find a statement anything like the one I attributed to Castle... I swear I recall him saying something along those lines, but I am at a loss when it comes to proof.]

In fact, this was the complaint I lodged to the team I was playing with the other day. I am the only player, it seems, using a non-MM most times I play, and on any team I join it seems like ALL I hear is screaming demons (hmmm, a good band name, that). It really is getting old. However, it won't be as bad in a month or so.

Could it be both?!?
Wild Speculation: Due to Castle's past statements about Granite and Obsidius's statement regarding those unnameable secret gamefiles... Stone Armor will be overhauled. This will result in a nerfed GA but pretty much the rest of Stone Armor will ge buffed. At this point, BaB will put in new visuals for Granite so that it matches each of the other styles of Stone.
Also, /signed for metal looking Stone Armor, and then an fix to the animations in Claws to allow Claws/Stone or Stone/Claws (<-- once proliferated to Tanks).
Whoooo, I don't think any one of my posts has quite that much speculation and wild assumptions in it. -
Quote:Something tells me that they might reverse in Praetoria. Loyalists might use a version of WW's (as it is the legitimate trading center) and the Resistance might use a version of BM (since they are operating outside the "law").At Hero Con, Positron said that there would be one or two markets in Praetoria, and that they'd be linked to WW and the BM by some kind of "interdimensional trading" - in other words, there'll be a WW and BM in Praetoria, but they'll be called something else to fit in with the game world.
-
Quote:I should think that it would be based on your "alignment": Resistance or Loyalist. I am under the impression that that might get picked as early as character creation. My baseless speculation is that you are assigned to one of the markets as a default, based on your AT (i.e. a blaster would be blue by default).

It tasted pretty sour over on Justice... how does it taste here on Freedom?

Quote:I think his point was that laptops tend to not be as powerful, graphically, as PCs and therefore perhaps it is time for some sort of upgrade to the PC. AKA nothing to do with drivers at all. I could be misinterpreting that by a large margin though.because everyone knows if the game is fine with one set of drivers it must be fine with all drivers.

Quote:Thank you for saying so. I appreciate that.Anyway, who knows what's happening. I knew je_saist was rude already so I wasn't surprised, but Thirty_Seven seemed nice from other posts I saw in other forums.
I guess I should explain myself a bit instead of defending my original post like I had here in response to your (next to) last post.
The issue that got my goat was asking for a refund. My BF is a restaurant manager, and is constantly regailing me with stories about snotty customers demanding refunds and such. And, frankly, I find it disgusting. We have had long discussions about how attitudes like that would never fly in any other market.
For example, say someone goes to Kohl's and buys a shirt, goes home, wears the shirt for a week and then returns it demanding a refund AND a new shirt. The manager is unlikely to comply, especially when he notices it is stained and hasn't been washed.
Soooo, I think I did a little "transference" (though that term doesn't apply directly) when I saw your title. I apologize for my somewhat arrogant and flippant reply.
P.S. It's a hyphen, not an underscore. -
Quote:A bunch of those aren't elipses. They have more than three dots.you need to read between the ellipsis to understand the problem.
Elipsis: ... OR
Not an elipsis: ..... OR ............ OR .................................. OR .....(I think you get the idea)....................................

To answer the question in your subject line: No. No, and no.
If you read your EULA... you'd know that already. Please post in this very area asking for assistance if you haven't already, read up in the Knowledge Base (if you haven't already)... ask friends who play for assistance (if... you get the idea), etc., ad nauseum.
DO NOT post in here whining for a refund you aren't going to get, nor should expect. It is your responsibility to make sure YOUR computer is going to work with the product they release, not the other way around.
Had I the problems you discuss, yes, I would be frustrated... but I would NOT even THINK of asking for a refund, because I am not DUE one. Period. -
Quote:I am not sure if a power can be coded to do something upon click, nothing while it is toggled and something else when it is un-toggled. It would certainly be the first such power (as far as I know).1. You wouldn't necessarily need two powers for this. What you could do is turn Time Bomb into a toggle. When you activate the toggle, the activation animation roots you and animates placing the bomb. The toggle costs no endurance to run. When you deactivate the toggle, the bomb explodes. I'm not sure if this would work from a mechanical perspective, but from a user interface perspective it makes more sense to me.
I think the original idea is certainly a good one. And with that said:

Simply awesome video, Michelle... as usual. I still think you should be on the Paragon Studios' pay-role.

Quote:My feelings exactly. That being said, keep calling attention to what would be good for the Base Building community (and even better, for those who might wish to join that group, but are put off by the learning curve), but keep the demands and the entitled attitude to a minimum. You might get further with the Devs that way.
As I read the OP... I didn't get the feeling I was reading a carefully written persuasive post... but rather pro-base propoganda. Instead of going all half-cocked and ranting in ugly colors for entirely too long, make a post to assemble grievances/suggestions cognizantly and PM it to WW and as many other Devs as you feel you should. Yes, I am aware that this has been done before, but being belligerant and self-centered shouldn't get you anywhere. Were I a Dev, I would probably put you on my Ignore list. -
The Hollows IS a Hazard Zone...
A) There used to be a minimum level for entrance, IIRC (though it was quite low)
B) And it is behind those cute lil Hazard gates.
Croatoa, is not... because it is accessible via train, and is basically a city zone. -
Firstly, I don't think Khelds SHOULD be given the ability to customize their powers due to the story of them... after all, they all have powers from the same source, why wouldn't they be the same color?
Secondly, Given the fact that Granite is not able to be customized... that might be related to Khelds not getting customization. Simply because they don't want to allow customization of Kheld powers until they are able to allow them to color ALL of their powers. Of course, here you will say that Stone Armor was given customization options... why not Khelds? Perhaps the aura color on the Khelds would be just as unchangeable as Granite is, and therefore the power colors wouldn't match the form colors... and that bothers the Devs. -
<-- Sad.
I was all excited last night that I finally got to 550.
