That's how I read it too. I know it is quite shocking to find someone who actually uses the "apostrophe S" for it's intended purpose as a possessive form indicator (as opposed to the morons who insist that it makes things plural).

Quote:Best way around that is to simply pay attention to the number of charges you have left in your Wand temp power.I've run this twice since issue 17 hit and both times I've gotten that bug... it DOES work, you just don't have any indication of how many Lost you have to go. Ran into it the day after i17 hit and again tonight with the same results.
Bugged it both times... it's only a display error but it's annoying and you're not sure if you're making any progress. -
I prefer to use this method for Sapper dispatching: walk right up to them, and AS them just as the rest of your team aggros the spawn.
What? He never said what side he was playing... -
To whoever left this rep. comment:
Quote:Thanks! It took me entirely too long to take screenies of all of the characters I care about (my current project is to get each of the characters pictured to 50 [3 of 17 so far]), edit out the backgrounds in PhotoShop and then composit them together like that. Then I had to alter my avatar, and search the web for like an hour to find a graphic that was of a piece of metal I liked.Awesome sig.
And, oddly, I feel compelled to go back to the drawing board... or change the current one a bit. -

Quote:I would say it is beyond snarky and into the downright rude category. Some comments, IMO, border on outright personal attack. However, others saying as much in many other threads hasn't stopped him, I doubt your kindly worded PS will do so either.P.S. I realize, Umbral, that I might not have been explaining things clearly enough; however, I would appreciate it if you would lose some of the snarkyness. I also care about what happens to my Stone Armor users considering I have five and am planning to make more.

Hmmmm.
I have played every AT but Widows at least a little bit... I guess my favorites would be Controllers and Stalkers. Very different, though they are, I loves them both. -
As often as this suggestion is brought up, you'd think there might be some merit to the pervasive "Bug Fix Issue." You would be mistaken.
As for the beacons...
1) How does one rather small addition like that (that might not be technically possible), constitute enough extra to be called an issue?
2) How often do people really need to exit straight to a different SG base anyway?
PS: As an unrelated note, I made a version of your avatar that is transparent.

I really like the idea of some of the low level thug groups having a slightly modified resurgence in the upper levels. Alternatively, one could have things like Freak Hellions and Freak Skulls! Imagine cybernetic demon-summoning fire spewers, or robotic-skeletal dark-blasters. I think the idea has merit.
Also, I really wish there would be more to the Vahz. I like the group, and think that the Mad Scientist really should get some more "screen time." Besides, what kinda mad scientist like the good Dr. just lies down and stops fighting after being beaten once? Maybe he could have some crazy zombie-launching GM version as an upper level zone event. Imagine the carnage! -
Why not just post the .texture files in a Zip (can Macs use zips?) with instructions on where to put the files?

Awesome! This would make me enjoy my currently leveling Stoner A LOT more!

Reputation is a bizarre game. I used to have a mildly positive rep number, and then all of a sudden it was in the +200s now, it is like -273. I have no idea who I pissed off, but they didn't like something. (And for the life of me, I can't find the post that was repped.)

Ummm no. I said that they don't think we should be able to PULL OUT up to 10 Enhancers per respec. Sorry that it was not clear. Their goal is that we re-slot everything that we used initially, and lose the rest. Hence the money-back option for not slotting things. Grey Pilgrim corroborated what I said (Thanks!).

...
Standard code rant applies.
And, something tells me that were it that simple, BAB would have the whole thing fixed up already; he is, in fact, a rather smart dude. -
You are, of course, aware that your statement there was not a categorical truth, correct? There are debuffs that have some of those same advantages. [Surveilance], for instance doesn't alert mobs, so is similar to applying a buff to a teammate. Also, what does mez have to do with it? There are many debuffs that are on click powers, and so won't be "turned off" by the player being mezzed.

You already have that ability... which in and of itself is a gift from the Devs, as they didn't really want to even allow you the ability to take out up to 10 Enhancers at a time.

Quote:I suggest replacing it with "-100% Damage on all powers for 30sec." Any takers? Might I suggest slotting it into a Passive?Replace the IO Set Bonus "__% Debt Protection" with something else. Anything other than what it is now = WORTHLESS.
(If you can't see the sarcasm here, look again.)

Quote:Depending on how conservatively you define harassment or "griefing," no he wouldn't have that right. Personally, I would not define those terms in a way to include Sam's situation... but someone might.sure the person had the right he/she is paying a subscription fee and the rules don't state otherwise at least i don't think they do.
I think there is a part asking that you treat other players respectfully though... I would have to look back over the EULA to know for sure. -
Quote:Firstly, if SC ISN'T vastly overpowered (and it is) then find me another power in a Defensive set that does as much damage in the same amount of time.Saying that SC is 'vastly overpowered' is your opinion, and lucky for you, castle seems to agree with you. However, if it is agreed that SC is 'vastly overpowered' (I don't agree), then that simply adds weight to the complaints that a 'vastly overpowered' power somehow escaped detection by the devs for over a year and a half.
Secondly, the Devs have stated on numerous occassions (and it only makes sense if you think about it) that they do not have the time to look at EVERY single power every time the game is updated. SC fell through the cracks, it seems. And, it seems to me, that Castle trusted someone else to do something to the power that ended up not being what he expected that person to do. All in all, it looks to be a case of "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" combined with a "while the cat's away the mice will play" sorta scenario here. AKA, SC didn't squeak and the cat wasn't looking when the mouse made his changes. Afterall, who would squeek about a power that is that awesome? (Aside from Arcanaville and others who actually look for that type of thing.)
