  3. I don't have a Gold account on my Xbox just yet (Though I will soon).
Heres my gamer tag anyways. TheZer0Element.

So this is where that burning smell is coming from...
  5. All I see is people arguing, and not agreeing to disagree...

Some think the servers are dead, others don't. So stop arguing on a thread topic that has been done to death. Please. For the love of KFC, stop going on about it!!.
  6. I have to agree. I was in a Game store last week looking for some bargains, when I noticed a guy looking at CO, while standing next to 2 shelves staked with copies of it. I asked him if his has ever tried a MMORPG before and he said he had gave WoW a try a while back. I told him to give City Of Heroes a go first, as CO plays a lot like WoW. I told him a bit about this and he seemed interested. Especially after I told him this had been around for a lot longer with more content etc.

    So... /Signed.

I don't give a flying fart, as I don't see a problem. If I need a team I can find one, or start one. People leaving or not being on because they can't find a team or start one is the problem. The populations of the EU servers don't seem any different to me.
  9. I can't help but think, if they did give us EU players the choice to move toons to the NA servers, that many would. Leaving those who don't want to change servers (due to SG/Friends or just plain love of the EU server community (ie: me and many others I know) with servers that ARE pretty dead/empty as some EU players seem to enjoy saying...

Oh, and I wont be using this FREE gift, but the thought and gesture is nice. Thanks!
  10. Marketing clogged up The Computers email account with spam and cheese.
  11. Are you lot still going on about this? Wow, just...... Wow!
I mean, how hard is it for some to understand that some people don't like PvP? I don't, so I would run if I was approached by the opposition, when in BB getting some Shivens.
  12. Heroes.

Bio Lizard (Spines/Invulnerability Scrapper). My first level 50 hero, I remade him a while back as a Spines/Regen and is currently level 42. He should be my next 50 Hero, though I'm not having much fun playing him at the moment.

Epimetheus (Stone/Stone Tanker). Hes my favourite Hero, his inspiration come from my brothers Tanker (PANGAEA) with the same powers. I use him mostly for Task Forces/Trials, and is my only badger on Heroes. Super Leader of a friends Super Group, Erimus Optima on Defiant. Took me about 2 years to reach level 50, my first Tanker to reach it.

Slice and Carry (Broadsword/Willpower Scrapper). A lot of fun to play and near indestructible. Was made one Double XP weekend, reach level 30 there abouts by the end of it, didn't take me long to reach level 50 after that. The story behind his name is complected, half Freakshow with a very Heroic mind.

Crazy Embrangler (Plants/Thermal Controller). Haven't played this guy for a while, though he is fun to play. The name I got from a TV show, one of my favourite. First Controller to reach level 50.

Anthony Diablo (Fire/Kinetics Controller). Another I haven't played for a bit, I made him to see what all the fuss is about, I got a lot of "can u elp me farm plz?" tells, even though my search comment said I didn't and would. Even my description said it. The last time I played it was on a MoITF that was successful with a time on around 50 minutes. I also couldn't stand how many people didn't understand me when I said "do not ask me for SB, you will get it when I give it out" and said "SB please" every frikin minute!

Mercury Green (Radiation/Archery Defender). I made him for a regular team with a Duel Blades/Regen Scrapper and Earth/Storm Controller. First Defender to reach level 50.

Voltilizer (Electric/Devices Blaster). Man, this is a lot of fun to play, last played him on a failed MoSTF attempt. IOed up for mostly damage but also defense/resistance. First Blaster to reach level 50.

    Villains

Thorny Devil. (Necromancy/Dark Miasma Mastermind). My namesake, obviously. My first level 50 on Villains. I made him a couple weeks after CoV was released. I still play this one a lot compared to others but Epimeteus. Super Leader of my Threat Group, The Legion Of Darkness on Defiant. Only one of my characters I have managed to solo an AV with, so far. Took me about 18 months to reach 50. Mainly because I didn't want to level to quickly and miss a lot of the story content, since it was new at the time.

Thorny Ninja (Ninjas/Pain Domination Mastermind). Made purely to see what both sets were like, then kept it when it pretty much owned anything it came across. One of my quickest to level 50, about 4 months.

Furious Thorny (Fire/Dark Miasma Corruptor). Kicks butt and never stops, then only Corruptor I can easily solo with. Best thing about this one is: Any Defense/Damage/Accuracy Inspirations I have + Tar Patch + Build Up + Fearsome Stare + Inferno = One Dead Mob. Hes Thorny gone mad. First Corruptor to level 50.

Lord Quagaar (Mace/Willpower Brute). Unstoppable crazy mo foe. I use him a lot in Strike Forces but not for a while. Favourite brute from all I've played/tried. 2nd Brute to reach level 50.

The Other Knight (Axe/Shield Defense Brute). Fun to play but very end heavy I found. Hes meant to be a rogue Dark Knight, I haven't really put much more thought into him.

Slash and Carry (Katana/Willpower Stalker). Evil Twin of the Slice and Carry, obviously. He sat at level 8 for ages till Stalkers got a buff a while back. My first Stalker to reach level 50.

A Fatal Mistake (Electric/Electric Stalker). Original this was a project. I was going to on train up to level 10, then play the other 40 levels without visiting the trainer. Electric Armour was the only set I could find (that I hadn't tried) with Mez protection within them first10 levels, and I figured the attacks would give me some endurance back. The name is simple because I though it would drive me mad enough to kill me, but in the end I just gave up the idea and played it the normal way. Glad I did as it was much fun to play.

KerPunk (Gravity/Psionic Dominator). First Dominator to reach level 50 and wasn't to bad either. Use him a lot in Strike Forces and Trials.

Operative Thorny (Crab/Bane SoA). Haven't played this guy in ages. His two builds are Crab and Bane. So I can swap to either when I like. Prefer the Crab build but not easy to solo I find.

Thornification (Widow/Fortunata SoA). Had a lot of fun playing this one, but not played it for a while. Never played the Fortunata build much.

That is all of them at the moment. I've deleted 3 50s over the 48+ months I've been playing. Bio Lizard (to remake him), a Super Strength/Invulnerability Brute and a Thugs/Dark Miasma Mastermind.
  13. Sounds to me your main reason for wanting this suggestion is for farming TFs....

    Character Bios

Out of all my 31 characters only 4 have bios write. I have one for almost all but can never be bothered to spend time writing them out, or I'm to busy playing to have the time. I do wish they would raise the limit though, as one bio isn't explained in the detail I'd like.
  15. My Hero, Epimetheus.

    Quote:
    Dear My Big Brother.

If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here fighting the good fight for Paragon, and the rest of the world.
I was busy helping my little Scottish village, when I got a letter from you, asking me to come help fight the Rikti, when they started to invade once again. To be honest I didn't blame you, I only just have the minerals to stand up to them. Now I'm writing this letter to you, asking you to never forget me or the rest of the Omega Team, for what we are about to do.

I remember when we were kids, learning to controller our abilities and our strength. We use to watch the news for anything about Hero 1, he kept our spirits up when we ruined Moms new rug with Mud Pots, or when I fell through the floor with Rooted. I told dad I didn't like being tickled. I wish they were still around, they both believed we could become great Heroes one day.

I know you would have taken my place on this mission, and I know I would love for you to be right along side me, when we finally win this war. But someone from our family needs to survive, and we both know you can do a better job them me. I know little Sis is still about somewhere, so I need you to find her and tell her everything. She always looked up to you the most when we were kids. If you find her, tell her I love and miss her greatly. As I do you.

I told Hero 1 about you and he tells me that I should be proud.
I am and always have been proud to call you my Brother.

Rock on Brother. Stay safe Sister. World, live forever.

    Love, Your little Brother
    Epimetheus

Similarly, Necro - I have a Nec/Poison who got her powers thanks to a possession attempt by the spirit of an ancient Egyptian priest. She never has had, never needed, and wouldn't have a wand, staff, etc. The power comes from HER. A wand or staff would frankly ruin that feel.
I with Bill here. I disagree with everything, especially the Necro change. My main is a Necro/Dark MM, he is a Devil so the power comes from him. He was born with it. So this change (if it ever happened) would ruin his back story Completely.
You say their powers need to be unique, then surely the same would have to apply for all other ATs that share the same weapon power set with other ATs? Blasters and Corruptors for example, Tankers and Brutes, Scrappers and Stalkers. Also, I think how often I see a suggestion for Heroes to get an Mastermind type powerset says just how unique they are. Though obviously, when GR comes out, the suggestion will be almost non-existent.

The new ones however... who the heck wants to spend hours collecting EOE to then go into a zone that's limited to 50 people who don't know how to follow tactics or care about them to actually make it work? And spend at least 3 hours (I think? Can't remember how much it took when I was in the 1st on Defiant, but we were all pretty bored by the end) for a reward that's at best meh?

As for the merger, as always, I'm not opposed to the list merge (which is not the same as being for it too) but I'm definitely against server merge.

I tend to suggest forming a team, to someone who complains about not finding a team. I see it all the time on a certain global channel, always from the same players. Its frustrating, and its seems to be about the same 1 in 20 players on the EU servers actually does start a team.

A little more on topic: no, you weren't in the wrong, he had no reason to snap at you for asking. But I prob wouldn't have said much else to him other then 'Yikes, okay Mr Happy, say hi to Miss Tickle for, shes a feisty one'.
  23. My 4th tray is always home for any accolades I might have, but my 9th tray looks similar to yours 4th tray, cohRock. Only difference being the Jump Pack is in my 3rd tray next to any other travel powers.
