I have a lvl 25 stone/stone tank and my Mrs has a lvl 25 elec/empath defender. I do the damage and keep the agro away from her as she heals and defends me. Does that make me a scranker? Cause if so I'd like a reason why. As I'm doing the my job and useing all my abilities to come out on top with a little help.

I agree that a tank standing there taking the agro and not REALLY pulling his wight is leaching. As a team without a tank can still take mobs. Maybe not as easy but still win.

Get rid of flares, for the love of god (or satan) get rid of flares! and take fireball for sure. I useualy group mobs together - tar patch - fearsome stare then fireball! works wonders.

I thought this up earlyer and had a bit of time to myslef so thought i'd share it with you awesome poeple.

I wanted to keep it all wording and no talking. And I think I did good but we'll see.


The sun rose and shone through the window of a 4th story flat in the small town known as Nerva Archipelago. Two eyes blinked as they adapted to the light. A man awoke and yawned, stretching his arms out, rubbed his eyes and scratching himself in various places. He sat up on the side of the bed with his feet firmly on the ground. He toes wiggling and clenching. He body twitched and hairs stood on end as the cold air surrounded him. He checks the clock; 7.35a.m. He stood up and walked towards the bedroom door, picking up a white robe from the back of a chair. He entered a short hallway of the flat; at the end of it was a signed photo of Manticore and a longbow uniform on a manikin with a lamp on a small table.
He entered a large bathroom with white tiles and black detailing on fixtures and edging. He reached into the shower and turned it on, the sound of the water pump and the rushing water could be heard as it started up. The man stood in front of a mirror and admired his stubble and spots upon his face. The room began to fill with steam. He lays his shaving cream and razor on the sink then climbs into the shower and begins to sing a random happy tune.

The door to the flat slowly and silently opened and a dark figure entered closing the door behind him. Completely invisible to the naked eye he stealthily walked towards the brown and white detailed door on his right. Making no noise at all the door handle turned with ease and the door opened slowly. The dark figure peered into the dark stuffy room, the pupils in his eyes widening to take in more light. As his eyes adjusted he began to notice blueprints and paperwork scattered on a desk in the middle of the room. A manikin stood in the corner with an Arachnos officer uniform hanging from it. The dark figure placed a small package on top of the desk and left the room.
He took a quick look around the open planned flat before heading towards the other rooms. The kitchen come dinner room come living room was messy and dusty. Sink full of unwashed dinner plats and cups. Paper work pilled high on the table and video tapes all over the floor around the television with various labels describing there contents. Walking into the bedroom door he finds more paper work and all sorts of Arachnos gear and equipment piled up in on corner of the room.

Water drips from the showerhead as it’s turned off, steam settling and water gurgling as it rushes down the drain. The pumps hum fading and the sound of wet feet on clean tiles can only be heard. The man puts on his robe and heads for the kitchen, rubbing his wet face and head with a towel. He checks the clock; 7.56a.m. He quickly rinsed out a small glass and opened a fridge door. After a quick look he picked up a carton of orange juice and poured himself a glass then drank a few mouth fulls from the carton. As he picked up his glass the phone on the table rang. He checks the clock. 8.00a.m. He walks towards the phone and picks it up. As he lifts it up, he feels a pain in his higher back. The assassin’s blade entering, breaking his spine and slicing his heart like a hot knife through butter. His grip on the glass and phone weakened as skin tears, veins burst, blood escapes and nerves shatter as the sword goes right through. As the assassin pulls his blade out, the glass smashes into pieces spilling its contents all over the surrounding floor.
The assassin is nowhere to be seen, leaving no trace behind but a small black piece of card with a big grin on it.
The constant beep of the phone hanging from its cord could only be heard, swinging back and forth knocking the foot of the lifeless body, stained with the red blood.

Well? What do you think?

Can you guess who the assassin is? For an extra clue he use to play on defiant and obviously is a villain. Haven't seen him online for ages.

A lvl 37 Robot/FF MM? Surly you can take on a hero? Unless ur on a high rep or on a team? Iv never had problems but then again dark has debuffs which help A LOT!
As already said, stay in the vault and block the heroes path was much as u can. Then its a dooozy!

If i was to go by this id use the slots taken by teleport and super speed to get combat jumping and super jump, sure it my not be as fast as SS and tp but you get an extra defence (against immob and all attacks) and a very fun travel power!
