A 1Tb RAID 0 setup is begging for trouble. If you really want to lose that much data, then by all means, go ahead, but embedded RAID controllers on consumer motherboard are almost always cheap and/or nasty and likely to lead to array failures or at least errors, which with RAID 0 usually means total data loss. -

The max dimensions are fixed at 80x80 and it will resize anything larger, but the max filesize isn't fixed - sorry, should have been clearer. -

Good point, although that would be fairly rare as Frostwork (IIRC) is the only non-self max HP buff and all the other ATs with self-HP buffs should also have mez protection. -

IMO, their best course of action, engine update wise, would be to throw away OpenGL and go pure DirectX. DX is far more efficient at what it does, and would run on lesser hardware whilst giving better output.
Of course, along with a new 3D engine, new geometry for the avatars is a must too!

Perhaps they can finally convert the sodding Contacts list to using static images instead of actually drawing the full 3D model for each one. -

AFAIK the devs went through and stopped most, if not all of the auto-hit damage auras in the game from counting towards the damage badges, or at least made it hard to do (See Tyrant's map).
You know what they're like with their whole Risk vs Reward thing. -
There isn't a fixed max size IFAIK, but mods may ask you to remove anything that is excessive (i.e. Try and keep it sub-500k). Animated avatars will need to be .gifs, unless the world has gone crazy and started adopting .mng at last.

It's conceptually silly for their inherent ability to cease working just because they change form, especially as it's only an energy based copy of the real thing. They STILL remain Kheldians, so their inherent should still function.

And *please* give some degree of buff for teaming with other Kheldians; all Kheldian teams are worse off than teams with only one or two Kheldians because of it.
By comparison, our current SG VEAT team (5 Crab Spiders, 1 Widow & 1 Dominator) is nigh-indestructible, can face down +8 (Yes, +8, though it took about 10 minutes to take him down) bosses without fear and can easily wipe out a 7-man spawn of+3 mobs with its alpha. Hell, we've started massing Mayhem mission ambushes to give ourselves a real challenge.
I want to be able to team my Warshade with other Kheldians without feeling like we're missing out by not having any other ATs involved. -

Certainly with non-damage dealing powers, it's much more important to hit early and hit often than to hit "big" and I would argue that even with damage dealing powers the same is true. -
Bear in mind that you always miss less often than you think you do. The human brain tends to pick out the misses and remember them while forgetting the hits (because they're the expected outcome).
If you run something like Herostats for 30+ minutes while playing your character you'll have an accurate breakdown of the average accuracy of each of your powers. Just remember that it varies greatly depending on the level of mob that you're fighting; you'll obviously have a far easier time hitting even level minions than you will hitting +3 bosses. -
Using 700-900Mb of RAM on a system with 2Gb is perfectly normal for CoX (Well, most games these days really) and would be extremely unlikely to have any negative effects on other aspects of your system unless you're trying to do something silly like run CoX at the same time as editing huge images in Photoshop (And even then all it'll do is slow everything down as Windows starts paging to disk).

There is no "right" or "wrong".
Personally I find taunt to be an invaluable tool when tanking and by and large I tank better with it than without it. That said, there are a large number of people who see it as useless (Probably because it doesn't do damage, buff or debuff) and refuse to take it; some of these people are scranking anyway so it makes no difference either way, others are actually tanking, in which case it may make a difference depending on their skill level, powersets and build. -

You've probably got your university proxy settings configured in IE. As the updater uses the IE engine to display its pages it would be affected in the same way as the browser itself. Firefox has its own proxy settings and would therefore be unaffected by any such configuration in IE.

Note that if you've signed up for an account on the US servers you won't be able to access the EU servers and vice versa - if you've signed up on the US servers by mistake, contact support and they might be able to help you out. -

Latency is measured in ms (As in Milliseconds)
Speed is measured in m/s (As in Metres per Second - and should be close to 299,792,458 m/s for your internet connection)
Bandwidth is measured in (Giga/Mega/Kilo) bits and is just the amount of data you can shove through your pipe at any given time.
Bitrate is measured in (Giga/Mega/Kilo) bits/second. -
