To be fair, I'm now convinced that there's something buggy about the temp drop assignment because I don't think I've done a single Lambda where we've got all 10 containment units and *not* had to farm at least one acid temp off the courtyard drops to close all 10 portals.
Statistically it's unlikely that every single Lambda I've run has had at least one of the 10/16 players who got the acid drops who's incapable of doing their job properly. -

Quote:Ok, let me rephrase thatSure it does. Individual servers can be up and down in the list without affecting others, no problem. Besides, the EU servers are already located in the US datacentre.
Quote:Thing is, once we go all Server List Mergey, you have to do any work that requires a client-side patch at the same time on all servers otherwise it doesn't work -
Quote:Thing is, once we go all Server List Mergey, you have to do the work at the same time on all servers otherwise it doesn't workI think the only fair way to do it, is to set the downtimes to times suitable for the region the servers, serve.
I'd be all for AU getting their own Oceana servers. -

I'm pretty sure that Interface only procs on powers than do damage (Diamagnetic doesn't proc off Inky Aspect, for example) so it's probably not possible to inflict it without aggroing mobs.

You should get one per completion of each trial every 20 hours.

At least it'll give me a chance to catch up on my Dragon Age 2 playthrough, CoX has been taking all my time lately.

Split your time between fixing #1 and #3.
In the patch notes announce unspecified "balance" changes in reference to #2 as a result of player feedback and watch as everyone goes on about how the power is now useless as you've over-nerfed it. -
I would make one, but I already have two Ice/ tanks from before DM was an option and I feel that 3 would be an extravagance pre-server list merge

Quote:As a general rule, if you want to know something about this game, go to http://wiki.cohtitan.com if you still can't find it or what you find doesn't make sense, ask on these boardsThank you!! that one has been bugging me for some time now, I've looked in several places and got different answers, which just made it more and more confusing..

I tend to find that as long as I lay into a group before the fluffies do, between Inky Aspect and Orbiting Death I manage to keep their attention pretty well. I do occasionally have to rescue one of my pets from an errant Lt that's taken a shine to them but on the whole I don't get a lot of problems with dead pets unless there are lots of ambushes/mobs I didn't spot behind me or I'm doing something like a BAF or Lambda where it's basically impossible to keep aggro off anything.

You can only slot one of any given IO Set enhancement into any one power, so no.
-
My WS pets are affected but don't show buff icons.

Quote:I had foolishly assumed that Googling for "City of heroes shiny power icons" wouldn't have yielded anything useful. That'll teach me

I have a question; what's with all the shiny power icons?
Also, gratz -

Especially in the final phase of BAF where the heavy DPSers are likely to be splitting their time between the AVs, it's quite easy for other, less aggro-prone toons to get enough attention from one of them to get Sequestered.
It happened to my Warshade earlier this evening due to something causing Siege to fully regen his health and while the majority of the league were focussed on him I managed to upset Nightstar enough to end up getting held, which was a minor point of pride for a toon that isn't known for her overwhelming damage output -
Quote:Which threw me completely when I came back to the game after a 6 episode break - leapt into a mob, saw a Quantum, panicked, got hit, shrugged, carried on.lol.
"The special damage to Kheldians from Quantum Array Gun was originally untyped and irresistable, but has since been changed to Negative Energy damage."
My PB's current Energy/Negative resistance while solo - 51.8%
The change turned Voids/Quantums from 2/3-hit killers into just any other mob and it's kind of sad tbh. -
Well for a start your attack chain in human form is almost non-existent. Unchain essence is only up every ~70 seconds so you can't rely on that as part of your standard attacks and Gravimetric Snare & Shadow Bolt, while fast to recharge are low on damage (Unslotted Shadow Blast will outdo the former and nearly match the latter in your build). Your only real damage output will be Gravity Well which has a ~7 second recharge, so you're really going to struggle to damage things. Even with your 3 (potential) pets, you're hardly going to be a killing machine.
If you're going to focus on Human Form then you'll probably want to keep the shields - at least the S/L one - because you can't always be sure of getting (and hitting) the 5 mobs that you need to cap your RES with just Eclipse and the ~30-50% they can provide (in tandem with absorption) will help plug the gap. Acc/Rech endmod sets are a good fit for Eclipse, so don't worry about them, but you don't need 4 RES slots in it; a couple of Res/Rech and a regular RES will do just fine (That extra slot is giving you less than 0.6% RES per mob).
Also, Stygian Circle needs more slots; a couple extra and you'll be able to get over 40% of your end back from a single mob. -

Problem is that a lot of the questions will remain unanswered until the badges actually start being awarded.
I think having a preset pattern for doing the mazes would help; they're not linear maps so it's easy for people to split up, run off and do really inefficient pathing between temps.
In theory, if you pile into Marauder straight away, the fact that he leaps all over the place should help with the reinforcements as you and he can move much faster than they can, though you're realistically going to have to dedicate one of the teams to keeping them in check otherwise you very quickly reach a critical mass whereby nothing you do will keep the team alive. Concentrated Judgement assaults would probably help deal with them quickly (especially as long as Ion is still bugged)

Quote:The best thing about Nightstar is that her corpse hangs around between the first time you defeat her and when she rezzes after you defeat Siege - so you've always got a handy target for fluffie raisingYes, I do.
I find that little extra bit of concealment a godsend, since I did NOT take nebulous form and sometimes need to scoot.
I just hit 50 on mine, and I am looking forward to sucking a soul from the corpse of Nightstar! -
Much appreciated; I'm not really a scrapper person and haven't built a Shield Tank yet so a lot of things passed me by (Like Phalanx being unenhanceable).
I'll have a look through and see what I can do to improve things. -
1) Yes
2) Yes, up to 4 times per mob (regardless of who they're from)
3) The same as they would resist any buff of that type
4) You can't make damage 0 but you can make negative RES *however* you can't do either just using the Interface procs (see point 2)
5) It seems to be the most popular, most because of the damage, but the -RES is pretty small and see point 2
Edit: Re point 2, it looks like some of them stack more than 4 times - the damage from Reactive seems to stack up to 6, so it varies, but it's still a low number.
